The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed modern educational systems by introducing innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and educational management. This study examines the methodological framework for integrating Artificial Intelligence into the educational process and evaluates its pedagogical potential in improving instructional effectiveness and student learning outcomes. The research analyzes contemporary AI-based educational technologies, including adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems, generative AI tools, automated assessment platforms, and personalized learning environments. The study highlights the methodological principles required for effective AI implementation, emphasizing learner-centered instruction, competency-based education, digital literacy, and ethical AI use. The findings indicate that AI-supported methodologies enhance student engagement, academic performance, independent learning, and teachers’ instructional efficiency while reducing routine administrative tasks. Furthermore, the study discusses the challenges associated with AI adoption, including academic integrity, data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the necessity of continuous professional development for educators. The proposed methodological framework provides practical recommendations for the responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence into educational practice. The study concludes that AI should be considered a complementary educational technology that supports, rather than replaces, the professional role of teachers in creating effective, personalized, and innovative learning environments.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of educational technologies has accelerated the adoption of interdisciplinary teaching approaches that prepare learners for the challenges of the twenty-first century. Among these approaches, STEAM education, which integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, has become an effective methodology for developing students’ creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. This study examines the methodological approaches to the application of STEAM education technologies and evaluates their effectiveness in improving teaching quality and student learning outcomes. The research analyzes the principles of project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, interdisciplinary curriculum integration, and technology-enhanced learning environments supported by digital tools such as robotics, virtual laboratories, simulation software, programming platforms, and engineering design applications. The findings indicate that the proposed methodology significantly improves student engagement, academic achievement, digital literacy, creativity, collaborative learning, and innovation while strengthening teachers’ instructional effectiveness and interdisciplinary cooperation. The study also identifies several challenges associated with STEAM implementation, including teacher professional development, technological infrastructure, curriculum integration, and competency-based assessment. The proposed methodological framework provides practical recommendations for the sustainable integration of STEAM education technologies into modern educational systems. Overall, the study concludes that STEAM education represents an effective pedagogical model for preparing students with the interdisciplinary knowledge, practical competencies, and innovative thinking required for future academic, professional, and societal development.

Abstract

Social adaptation remains a major challenge for children with disabilities, especially for children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This article examines the role of art therapy as a nonverbal, multisensory intervention aimed at improving social interaction, emotional regulation, and communication skills. Using a qualitative synthesis of modern literature and case studies, the study explores how the creative process bypasses language barriers and facilitates peer communication and self-development. The main findings show that art therapy significantly improves performance skills in the area of social interaction, reduces anxiety, and develops a sense of belonging through collaborative projects.

Abstract

Phraseological units occupy a special place in the lexical and cultural system of every language. They are fixed or semi-fixed combinations of words whose meanings often cannot be fully understood from the meanings of their individual components. In English, phraseological units include idioms, proverbs, sayings, phrasal expressions, collocations, clichés and other stable word combinations. Their translation creates serious difficulties because they are closely connected with national mentality, cultural experience, historical memory, figurative thinking and communicative traditions. The present article investigates the major problems that appear in the translation of English phraseological units into another language, with particular attention to semantic, cultural, stylistic and pragmatic aspects. The study is based on descriptive, comparative and analytical methods. It examines the nature of phraseological meaning, the problem of equivalence, the role of context, and the translator’s choice between literal translation, phraseological equivalence, descriptive translation, substitution and omission. The results show that the main difficulties arise when an English phraseological unit has no direct equivalent in the target language, contains culture-specific imagery, includes historical or literary allusions, or carries an emotional and stylistic effect that is difficult to reproduce. The article concludes that successful translation of phraseological units requires not only linguistic knowledge but also cultural competence, contextual sensitivity and creative decision-making.

Abstract

Abstract. This article examines the concept of LABOUR/MEHNAT as verbalized in English and Uzbek idiomatic expressions within the framework of cognitive linguistics and cultural linguistics. Through comparative analysis of phraseological units, the study identifies both universal cognitive mechanisms (conceptual metaphors, metonymies) and culture-specific (linguocultural) features that distinguish the English individualistic work ethic from the Uzbek collectivist and spiritually grounded perception of labour. The findings contribute to the understanding of how cultural worldviews are encoded in figurative language.
