The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

The rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, particularly generative language models such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, and specialized AI language learning platforms, is initiating a fundamental transformation in foreign language education. This paper examines the opportunities and methodological challenges of integrating AI tools into foreign language classrooms. The study focuses on personalized learning, automated corrective feedback, material preparation for teachers, and the development of learner autonomy. Alongside these advantages, methodological risks such as AI hallucinations, grammatical and pragmatic inaccuracies, academic integrity issues, and potential loss of deep cognitive processing are critically evaluated. Based on current educational research, a practical four-phase pedagogical model is proposed for the reflective integration of AI into foreign language instruction.

Abstract

The article analyses the novel “Yaldo kechasi” (2025) by Xayriddin Sulton from the standpoint of the theory of intertextuality. The work is examined as an example of intertext through its hypertextual link with Abdulla Qodiriy’s novel “Oʻtkan kunlar” (“Bygone Days”), the strategy of literary mystification (the found manuscript and false authorship), stylistic imitation, the incorporation of historical documents, letters and poetic texts into the fabric of the novel, and allusions and reminiscences. The study also elucidates the novel’s character system and its interpretation of historical events on the basis of the principle of intertextuality, and substantiates that intertextuality is the leading means in the transformation of historical truth into artistic reality.

Abstract

The intellectual detective as represented by Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple is the focus of this article, which examines the cognitive and psychological foundations of finding in Agatha Christie’s novels. This article addresses the dual model of intellectual inquiry in Christie’s works, where logical reasoning and intuitive understanding coexist but are rarely analyzed together. The aim of the study is to define the narrative and psychological mechanisms through which Christie constructs the image of the intellectual detective and to compare the distinct problem-solving strategies of her two most famous main characters. The research tasks include analyzing Poirot’s method based on logic, order, and rational deduction, examining Miss Marple’s reliance on intuition and knowledge of human nature, and identifying their roles in the development of the plot and thematic structure. The study applies an interpretative approach and comparative analysis as its main methods.
