The mission of the International Journal of Literature and Language Studies (IJLLS) is to provide readers with the development of language studies in linguistics and literature. In addition to manuscripts that center on the study, we welcome manuscripts on a wide range of topics relating to the technology used for language development, cultural impact on languages, computational linguistics, and philosophy of language. IJLLS publishes scholarly conceptual, theoretical, and empirical manuscripts on the study of language and focused on literature and linguistic analysis and development. Submissions to the journal should be readable and understandable by a wide audience. Manuscripts should therefore also focus on analysis or illustration of the issues covered, rather than merely providing a mathematical or technical coverage, which would be more suitable for a specialist journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically. We provide our published authors with both a quality publication and the widespread readership that comes from publishing all manuscripts online within a few weeks of acceptance. This approach ensures that published works are read and cited by the widest possible audience.

Abstract

Within the broader study of the discursive strategies of African American writers in American literature, this article analyses the neologism “rememory” in Toni Morrison’s Beloved (1987) as a fully developed discursive structure for representing a historical trauma — chattel slavery and the Middle Passage — that resists conventional narration. Where official archives systematically excluded the interior life of the enslaved, Morrison constructs a counter-discourse in which the past is figured as materially persistent, spatially located and bodily inscribed. Integrating trauma theory (Caruth, LaCapra, Herman), cultural-memory studies (Halbwachs, Assmann, Eyerman) and the critical grammar of Hortense Spillers, the study identifies four discursive operations through which rememory functions: the externalization of memory into place; the embodiment of history as corporeal text; ghost discourse as the return of the repressed; and fragmented, non-linear temporality as the formal correlate of traumatic experience. The article concludes that rememory constitutes both a theme and a method, converting the reader from a recipient of information into a participant in a community of witness.

Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical effectiveness of using artificial intelligence (AI) tools in preschool education organizations, its impact on the educational process, and the existing opportunities and challenges. Modern digital technologies, particularly AI-based educational platforms, interactive programs, speech recognition systems, and adaptive learning applications, serve as essential tools in enhancing children's cognitive activity, supporting individual development, and improving the quality of education. Artificial intelligence enables educators to rapidly analyze children's knowledge levels and developmental characteristics, implement individualized approaches, and plan educational activities effectively. At the same time, these technologies contribute to developing independent thinking, creativity, and communication skills in children. However, the integration of artificial intelligence into the preschool education system also poses several challenges. In particular, the insufficient digital competence of educators, limited technical infrastructure, information security and data privacy concerns, as well as the risk of children becoming overly dependent on digital devices, are highlighted as pressing issues. Therefore, ensuring pedagogical appropriateness, considering age-specific characteristics, and harmonizing these technologies with traditional upbringing methods are of great importance when utilizing artificial intelligence tools. The research findings indicate that the rational use of artificial intelligence tools enhances the quality and efficiency of preschool education, while fostering children's intellectual and creative potential.

Abstract

The rapid growth of globalization, migration, and intercultural interaction has transformed multiethnic societies into dynamic environments where adolescents encounter diverse cultural identities and social values. In such contexts, the development of ethnic identity represents a fundamental psychological and socio-cultural process that significantly influences adolescent socialization, interpersonal relationships, civic engagement, and emotional well-being. This study explores the role of ethnic identity development as a determinant of successful adolescent socialization in polyethnic regions, emphasizing its contribution to social adaptation, intercultural competence, and peaceful coexistence. The research employs qualitative content analysis supported by comparative and socio-pedagogical approaches to examine contemporary theories of ethnic identity and their application within multicultural educational settings. The study integrates findings from psychology, sociology, education, and cultural studies to evaluate how family, schools, community organizations, peer groups, and digital communication collectively shape adolescents' ethnic self-awareness and social behavior. The findings indicate that adolescents possessing a well-developed and positive ethnic identity demonstrate higher levels of self-esteem, social responsibility, intercultural tolerance, and civic participation. Conversely, weak or conflicted ethnic identity may contribute to social isolation, discrimination, identity confusion, and intergroup conflicts. Educational institutions play a critical role by implementing multicultural curricula, inclusive teaching strategies, intercultural dialogue programs, and value-based education that promote mutual respect and appreciation of cultural diversity.

Abstract

This article examines the artistic interpretation of African American identity in Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, Sula, Song of Solomon, and Beloved. A qualitative textual method is used to analyze the role of racial standards, memory, gender, family history, community, and cultural inheritance. The findings show that Morrison presents identity not as a fixed personal quality but as a process formed through conflict between external judgment and internal cultural knowledge. Her multiple narrators, fragmented chronology, symbolism, oral traditions, and supernatural elements give artistic form to experiences often excluded from official history. The article concludes that Morrison’s fiction transforms African American identity from an imposed racial category into a complex consciousness based on memory, relation, resistance, and cultural continuity.

Abstract

This article examines the secondary characters that surround the central hero of the “Oghuzname” epic, Oghuz Khan: the blue wolf, Oy Qaghan, Ulugh Turk, and the hero’s two wives and six sons. Rather than treating these figures as isolated decorative elements, the study approaches them as an interconnected symbolic system in which each character reinforces a distinct source of the hero’s authority - divine, genealogical, cosmic-territorial, and intellectual-political. The analysis shows that, taken together, these images form a three-tiered cosmological model (sky - earth - horizontal political space) that artistically substantiates Oghuz Khan’s status as ruler of the entire world.
