Abstract

This article discusses Islam in West Asia, focusing on religious patterns, culture, economic dynamics, politics, and the conflict in Palestine. It aims to provide insights into West Asia to deepen understanding of the region and issues related to the ongoing conflict in Palestine, including the roles of various actors. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and a descriptive qualitative approach, this article reveals that West Asia, with its strategic location, has a rich history of cultural and religious diversity. This diversity is reflected in the social, political, and economic systems of societies reliant on trade, agriculture, and livestock farming. The social and political structures of West Asian societies before Islam were marked by tribal and clan fanaticism, which underwent significant transformation with the arrival of Islam, promoting unity and structured governance. The conflict in Palestine exemplifies the political and social complexities in this region. Support from Shia groups like the Houthis and Hezbollah for the Palestinian struggle against Israel has led to various assumptions and interpretations. This article emphasizes the importance of international assistance to support the Palestinian struggle, alleviate the suffering of its people, and highlights the need for a multidimensional approach to understand and address existing conflicts.

Abstract

Abstract Seljuks had a major role in political, racial, religious, economic, social, and cultural developments in Islamic lands under their territory. The Atabaki entity was introduced to Islam by Seljuk Turks. This study is to examine the scientific, cultural, and religious services of the Arbil Atabaks (Bani Bagtakin) government, which made their government last for about a century. Abstract

Sandingan is a tradition carried out by the people of Tamansari Village when someone dies. Pairing is serving food with prayers specifically for the deceased and then giving it to the closest neighbors. The focus of study in this research is how to carry out the complementary tradition, the meaning of society regarding tradition and based on hadith and tradition analysis based on Peter Berger's social construction theory. The method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study are that the community's meaning of the sanding tradition is carried out as a form of respect, concern and a medium of communication for people who are still alive to people who have died. In addition, their practice is based on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. regarding the recommendation to give alms to the deceased. By using three concepts of social construction theory, Peter Beger shows that: a) externalization of the occurrence of tradition is seen by the existence of a religious text as the basis of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. b) objectivation can be seen in the people's belief about the meaning of the tradition of sanding as a form of respect, concern for grave experts by sending prayers and alms through the presence of sanding. c) internalization occurs through primary socialization of elders or elders and religious leaders, and secondary can be obtained through the influence of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This article examines social life in Sumenep in the 1950s. How did the spirit of the 1950s emerge in Sumenep and to what extent did it influence the social interactions of the people, especially between the nobles and the common people who lived there? The primary sources used in this study include official government archives, several contemporary newspapers, and the accounts of informants who experienced the decade. The conclusion of this article is that, first, Sumenep in the 1950s became a socio-cultural space full of political passion and a spirit of development. This is evidenced by various government programs that focused on improving infrastructure and development in the fields of agriculture and education. Second, the spirit of development had an impact on the pattern of interaction between the nobles and the common people. Interaction between the two groups became more fluid because they shared many similarities: work, school for their children, and tandâ’ dance events where both were on the same stage with the strains of the same music. Abstract

This research aims to explain the economic empowerment of Pesantren Al Hikmah Purworejo through the YouTube platform and analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research questions include: (1) How does Pesantren Al Hikmah in Purworejo develop and empower its economic independence through YouTube? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development and empowerment of the economic independence of YouTube-based pesantren in Al Hikmah, Purworejo? (3) How is the solution to overcome the obstacles in developing the economic independence of YouTube-based pesantren in PP. Al Hikmah, Purworejo? This research uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth case study design. The results showed that Pesantren Al Hikmah developed economic independence and empowerment through a model of approaches, strategies and techniques of pesantren management. The figure of the caregiver who has a fairly mature background experience in the world of YouTube, pesantren policies based on modern video production management, strategies and techniques for making videos based on the talents and interests of students become the basis for empowerment and independence of pesantren. There are several supporting factors, such as the background of many students from information technology vocational schools, students who take courses with IT majors, consistency in uploading videos and the ability to optimise videos based on YouTube algorithms. The inhibiting factors include the increasing competition, YouTube algorithms changing rapidly, taking video footage from external parties that contain copyright risks. To overcome these obstacles, PP. Al Hikmah, Purworejo has made a breakthrough by innovating the existing content, such as adding shades of horror and mystic nuances in each of the latest content, adding more video animations to avoid copyright reprimands, always consistently uploading videos at the same time according to recommendations from YouTube and always learning the types of changes in YouTube algorithms that always experience adjustments.   REFERENCES   Adek Media Roza, d.
