Allah SWT has given the command to His servants, especially women, to always lower their eyes and to cover their aurat. Even a few of them do not know what aurat, mahram, permittable self-preening and to whom their precious jewelry may be shown. This is important to commit Allah’s commands as stated in His commandment on Qur’an Surah an-Nuur verse 31. This research aims to describe women’s education values in Qur’an Surah an-Nuur verse 31 on tafsir al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. This research is included in library research. At the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, there are many female faculty and department leaders. Basically, at this time it is not impossible for a woman to become a leader, with the development of feminism in society, women's leadership is not a rare thing. However, the ability of women to occupy the highest positions as leaders who supervise men is still a matter of debate. Patriarchal ideology doubts the position of women as leaders and assumes that not all leadership positions can be occupied by women. This study aims to explain the legal rights of women as leaders with certain limitations. This research is descriptive qualitative, where the researcher will analyze the data gradually after going into the field to make observations through interviews with women who occupy leadership and non-leader positions at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of the interviews were then supported by literature studies from books and scientific research to obtain research results. The method used in this research is qualitative with an inductive approach, because it requires in-depth analysis to find the law of the problems that are carried out in this study. Based on the data obtained, it can be found that the law of women as leaders is permissible and the assumption that women are the weak is not much different from the views of the ignorant society in the past. Therefore, if a woman has good qualities and a capable leadership spirit, then there is no prohibition for her to occupy a leadership position.

Sexual violence against women is often used as a military strategy to subdue the enemy. Sexual violence against women can result in the impurity of certain ethnicities due to rape and pregnancy and the humiliation of opponents. This happened in the armed conflict in Tigray-Ethiopia in 2020. This article analyzes the international legal protection of women from sexual violence in armed conflict in Tigray. The discussion shows that the armed conflict between the Central Government of Ethiopia and the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) in 2020 can be categorized as a non-international armed conflict. The absence of preventive and repressive efforts by the two warring parties, especially the central government of Ethiopia, regarding the sexual violence against Tigray women, shows that there is no legal protection for women in armed conflicts. This violates Article 27 of the 4th Geneva Convention of 1949, Article 4 paragraph (2) letter e of Additional Protocol II of 1977, and violates the principles of non-reciprocity, military necessity, distinction, proportionality, and humanity. In addition, sexual violence against women during armed conflict is an international crime under the Rome Statute. Ethiopia is a party to the 1949 Geneva Conventions and the 1977 Additional Protocol and can therefore be held accountable.

Gender equality in Indonesia is a very serious problem, because of the patriarchal culture that develops in society. With the development of information and communication technology, various forms of crime have also adapted. One example is the emergence of a new form of gender-based violence, namely Online Gender-Based Violence (KBGO). Online gender-based violence has been a global phenomenon since the early days of internet use. It has become a serious problem, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made things worse. During the COVID-19 pandemic, cases of online gender-based violence increased drastically. This is due to situations and conditions where activities that could previously be carried out directly, must be carried out online or online such as work, teaching and learning, and others. In addition, social media platforms are now very insecure because of the large number of users whose accounts are not based on real identities. In handling it, it is also not enough to only use pre-existing regulations, because it will only become a boomerang for the victims. Cases of online gender-based violence should be a serious concern for all parties.
