Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Professionalism and Work Climate on Work Effectiveness at PT. BIG Tours & Travels. The population in this study were 57 employees where all employees were used as research samples. The method used is the quantitative method. Primary data collection was obtained from distributing questionnaires and secondary data obtained directly from the Company through the process of observation and interviews. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 24 software. The results showed that the regression coefficient of Work Professionalism (X1) was 0.567, which was positive. This is indicated by the t-count value of 3.992 which is greater than the t-table of 2.005, and a significance value of 0.000 below 0.05. Where Professionalism Work (X1) partially positive and significant effect on Work Effectiveness (Y). While the regression value of Work Climate (X2) is 0.245, positive value, this is indicated by the t-count value of Work Climate of 1.846 which is smaller than t table of 2.005, and a significance value of 0.070 is greater than 0.05. Where the work climate (X2) has a positive and insignificant effect on work effectiveness (Y). So it can be said that Work Professionalism (X1), and Work Climate (X2) simultaneously have a positive effect on Work Effectiveness (Y) With the value of the multiple regression equation Y = 6.371 + 0.567X1 + 0.245X2 with a coefficient of determination of 41.10%, the rest is influenced by other factors not studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture, work environment and work motivation toward job performance in the charitable efforts of Muhammadiyah education institutions in Tangerang city. The study resulted in: 1). organizational culture was significantly (positively) correlated with work motivation by 16.5%, 2). work environment was significantly (positively) correlated with work motivation by 82.7%, 3). organizational cultures and work environment were significantly (positively) correlated with work motivation by 95.7%, 4). organizational cultures was significantly (positively) correlated with job performance by 26.6%, 5). work environment was significantly (positively) correlated with job performance by 61.2%, 6). work motivation was significantly (positively) correlated with job performance by 26.6%, 7). organizational cultures, work environment and work motivation were significantly (positively) correlated with job performance by 95.2%.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan dimensi kehidupan yang sangat penting, dengan memiliki mental yang sehat dapat membuat kehidupan berjalan dengan baik. Kesehatan mental diartikan sebagai kondisi mental yang normal dan tetap memiliki motivasi untuk melanjutkan hidupnya secara berkualitas, baik dalam kehidupan pribadi, keluarga, pekerjaan ataupun kehidupan lainnya. Lingkungan kerja tentunya memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan individu (karyawan), lingkungan kerja tidak hanya dipergunakan sebagai tempat untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan hidup, tetapi juga dapat menimbulkan sumber stres yang akan berdampak negatif pada kesehatan mental karyawan jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini menguji kesehatan mental dan strategi coping terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Pindad Persero selama pandemi covid-19.  Peneliti melakukan penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang diujikan kepada 68 responden. Hasil mendapatkan temuan empirik bahwa pengaruh kesehatan mental dan strategi coping memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel kesehatan mental sebesar 10,6%. Sementara untuk sisanya sebesar 89,4% dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya.

Abstract

Covid-19 has been declared a pandemic by WHO (World Health Organization) since March 2020. However, there is confusion about the therapy that should be used for covid-19. This virus enters the human body by binding to ACE-II receptors in the human body, causing an inflammatory response and a decrease in the body's immune response. The overproduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines relates to COVID-19's cytokine storm, also known as cytokine release syndrome (CRS). The aim of this article is to determine the effectiveness of dexamethasone in treating cytokine storms in severe COVID-19 patients using ventilator respiratory. This study used a narrative review journal from several leading platforms such as PubMed, NEJM, NCBI, and others, as well as from government websites, selected between 2019 and 2021 in the English language. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid class of drugs that can act as anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive. The drug inhibits the expression of genes that induce inflammatory proteins. In the case of severity covid-19, dexamethasone was used in patients who had decreased oxygen saturation. After being treated using this drug intravenously, the patient showed a positive increase in oxygen saturation levels. Dexamethasone therapy was effective and may have been acceptable in severe Covid-19 patients that actively ventilator respiratory. Then, a more rigorous investigation of the impact of dexamethasone is needed.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada kehidupan manusia sekarang ini sangatlah pesat. Manusia sangat membutuhkan sumber daya energi untuk menghidupkan dan memelihara teknologi yang dapat membantu hidup manusia di bumi. Salah satunya ialah teknologi pembangkit tenaga listrik. Pembangkit tenaga listrik membutuhkan sebuah energi yang berasal dari bumi. Fosil atau minyak bumi yang mungkin saja persediaannya di bumi akan berkurang. Manusia telah menggunakan sumber daya energi tanpa berfikir banyak untuk melestarikannya agar tidak terjadi habisnya sumber daya energi. Salah satu upaya yang dapat mencegah sumber daya energi itu habis adalah dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya energi sinar matahari. Sinar matahari mampu memberikan energi pada panel surya yang terkonversi menjadi energi listrik. Penelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah alat yang dapat menyediakan sumber listrik cadangan dengan daya energi yang berasal dari sinar matahari. Guna mengatasi pemakaian sumber listrik PLN yang berlebihan dan jika terjadi pemadaman listrik pada rumah tinggal. Pembuatan sumber listrik cadangan menggunakan panel surya berbasis IoT dengan beban lampu dan peralatan listrik, merupakan sebuah alat yang dapat menjadi wadah tempat penyimpanan energi dari panel surya menggunakan aki. Energi yang disimpan dapat digunakan untuk penerangan lampu dan juga pada pemakaian peralatan listrik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh empowering leadership, kreativitas individu, dan iklim organisasi terhadap perilaku inovatif individu pada jasa transportasi di Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling dan analisnya menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menujukkan ada pengaruh positif dari empowering leadership, kreativitas individu, iklim organisasi secara bersama terhadap perilaku inovatif individu. Implikasinya adalah meningkatkan empowering leadership dengan meningkatkan kreativitas individu agar karyawan selalu melakukan pekerjaannya dengan kreativitas tinggi tanpa batasan. Perusahaan juga harus membuat karyawan merasa aman karena penerapan iklim organisasi yang tercipta dengan baik didalam perusahaan dan menjadikan karyawan memiliki perilaku inovatif individu sehingga dapat memberikan masukan dan dapat mengembangkan ide-idenya
