Abstract

The development of the area of oil palm plantations in Indonesia is increasing every year. So many empty palm fruit bunches produced from palm oil mills. Oil Palm Empty Bunches (EFB) is a type of solid waste that is mainly produced by palm oil mills. Empty palm kernels, e.g. Materials with a high water content are only processed in the palm oil industry due to the high cost and inefficiency of transporting and disposing of them. The purpose of this article is to discuss the use of empty fruit or palm fronds as an alternative to organic fertilizer at PTPN III Labulasel from previous research. In writing this article, the research article literature search method was used in the Google Scholar database. The criteria for the selected articles are articles published in national magazines in 2018-2023. Library research was carried out by comparing research methods, processing and results of each article. Based on the results of a literature search, it is known that empty bunches or fronds of PTPN III Labusel's oil palm can be used as an alternative organic fertilizer that can be used as plant fertilizer, especially for the oil palm plant itself, and this avoids the accumulation of dirt.

Abstract

The importance of governance collaboration as an effort to restore the function of the Youtefa Bay mangrove forest area which is not only as a disaster controller, but as a source of community life, managed from generation to generation with its local wisdom. The method used is library research. Where data comes from various literatures, by conducting text and discourse analysis. The results of this study indicate that the existence of mangrove forests on the coast of Youtefa Bay, Papua, is not only limited to disaster management, but is like a mother who gives life. Mangrove forests have become part of the community's customs. There is a division of territory to work; men earn a living at sea, and women are given mangrove forests as a local food source. Mangrove forests became a private space for women. Forest was later named "Women's Forest" in the local language called Tonotwiyat. Aside from being a source of food, it has become a tradition for women to be responsible for protecting and caring for the forest so that it remains sustainable. However, this tradition began to erode along with the times. Developments that are not environmentally friendly and waste that pollutes the forest are part of the fading of women's traditions of caring for the mangrove ecosystem. Rehabilitation of mangrove forest areas affected by development is one of the efforts made by the government. Efforts to preserve mangrove forest areas are not only the task of the government. However, it must be carried out collaboratively with the government, community, NGOs, and the private sector. The collaborative governance approach as an effort to restore the function of mangrove forests can be carried out by prioritizing the local wisdom values of the community. This collaboration is here to answer the lack of resources of each actor.

Abstract

Currently, many crimes have been found at airports, such as smuggling of illegal drugs, sharp weapons or other dangerous goods. Therefore, aviation security and safety must be met and considered by the Aviation Security (AVSEC) work unit. This study aims to explain the application of AVSEC security inspection procedures and the condition of the equipment. The results of the study showed that the application of the AVSEC security inspection procedure was not maximized. This is caused by the equipment in the AVSEC unit which is still experiencing problems such as the HHMD experiencing a low battery resulting in a less loud metal ticking sound. The WTMD engine that is experiencing problems does not sound when checking passengers carrying metal-containing goods. X-ray machines that experience problems due to cables that don't fit properly result in the X-ray machine not being able to see images of items that go through the X-ray machine during inspection. So that it can hinder the process of security checks at Yogyakarta Adisutjipto airport.
