Abstract

In a state of mindfulness, a person deliberately focuses completely on one particular thing or activity, without being distracted by attention to other things. This research uses qualitative methods, especially phenomenology with the aim of understanding the picture of mindfulness of Psychology students at UIN Walisongo in maintaining mental health. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation, with a population of all Psychology students at UIN Walisongo and a sample of 5 informants selected using purposive sampling. The research results showed that 4 informants had a good picture of mindfulness because they fulfilled three main aspects, namely acting with awareness, observing, and accepting without judgment. One informant, although he had a good picture of mindfulness in the first two aspects, was still lacking in the aspect of accepting without judgment. These findings provide an overview of the level of mindfulness among Psychology students at UIN Walisongo, with potential implications in the development of mental health strategies or interventions in academic environments. These results provide valuable insight for the development of mental health intervention strategies among Psychology students at UIN Walisongo.

Abstract

Leadership style is a way or pattern of behavior applied by a leader to influence his subordinates to want to carry out the tasks that have been given. Based on an initial survey of researchers at the Oesapa Health Center, leaders rarely supervise the tasks carried out by health workers. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of leadership style on the performance of health workers. The type of research used is quantitative research. Participants in this study were health workers at Puskemas Oesapa Kupang as many as 60 people, with the sample technique used was non-probability sampling. The data analysis used was chi square analysis and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was an influence of authoritarian leadership style on the performance of health workers at Puskesmas Oesapa Kupang seen from the linear regression equation Y = 2.606 - 0.305X and the significance value was 0.005 < 0.05. There is an influence of democratic leadership style on the performance of health workers at Puskesmas Oesapa Kupang seen from the linear regression equation Y = -1.241 + 1.121X and significance value = 0.007 < 0.05. And there is no influence of free control leadership style on the performance of health workers at the Oesapa Kupang Health Center with a significance value of 0.278 > 0.05. For the Oesapa Health Center, it is recommended that a democratic leadership style be further improved so that the performance of health workers at the Oesapa Health Center increases.

Abstract

Meningococcal meningitis is an acute inflammatory infection of the lining of the brain and spinal cord caused by the bacteria Neisseria meningitides. This disease can cause brain damage with a case fatality of 50% if not treated quickly. One effort to prevent the transmission of meningitis is to administer the meningococcal meningitis vaccine, which is an absolute requirement for all prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. This research was conducted from September to December 2023 using secondary data, namely KKP Class I Surabaya annual report data for 2013-2022. The method used in this research is quantitative forecasting with the forecasting carried out is Simple Moving Average using RStudio software. The forecast results for meningitis vaccination demand for 2023-2026 using the 4-year SMA method are 31,768.50, this value is smaller than the 2013-2019 vaccine demand, the results of this forecast have an MSE value of 36,048,718.225. This result can still be tolerated and is used by the Surabaya Class I Port Health Office (KKP) to reduce the number of vaccines in stock so as not to stock too much meningitis vaccine.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a leading cause of suffering and mortality among children, accounting for approximately 9% of all deaths of children under the age of 5 worldwide in 2021. This study aims to determine the relationship between the availability of basic sanitation facilities (clean water facilities and toilet conditions) and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers at Puskesmas Tanah Pasir, North Aceh Regency, in 2024. This research employs a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional design, involving 95 mothers with toddlers. The sample was taken using purposive sampling, and data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results show that the availability of clean water facilities has a significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,005), toilet conditions also have a significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,000), and PHBS behavior is significantly related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,003). It is recommended that health workers enhance collaboration with cross-sector stakeholders and conduct continuous education and outreach programs.

This type of research is an analytical survey with a research design using a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted in the Bakunase Community Health Center work area in February 2024 – March 2024. The sample size in this study was 92 samples. The analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The type of statistical test uses the chi square test with a significance level of ɑ=0.05. The results of this study show that variables that have a relationship are maternal knowledge (p-value=0.001), maternal parenting style (p-value=0.000), infectious diseases (p-value=0.000). and which has no relationship with the nutritional status of toddlers, namely maternal education with a value (p-value 0.1000). It was concluded that maternal knowledge, parenting patterns, infectious diseases had an effect on nutritional status, while maternal education had no effect on nutritional status. Abstract

Acute pyelonephritis is a bacterial infection in the kidneys and should be suspected in patients with pelvic pain and laboratory evidence of urinary tract infection. (Herness et al., 2020). Incidence of acute pyelonephritis is rising worldwide (Nurislami et al., 2023), United States, occurrences of acutely occurring pyelonefritis as many as 250,000 visits (Herness et al., 2020). Acute pyelonephritis is defined as the presence of the following two conditions: (a) axial temperature of 38.3°C or shivering; (b) pelvic pain or pain with costovertebral angular pressure; and (c) mixional syndrome. (Umesha et al., 2018). Supportive examination is an evaluation of the upper bladder with an ultrasound. (Penta et al., 2020). Treatment can be done in hospital or on the street. Implementation of proper ambulatory care is performed in patients with pyelonephritis without complications who are able to tolerate oral antibiotics and have no clinical signs of sepsis (Herness et al., 2020). Patient education and improved self-management have been identified as an important element of treatment (Hudson & Mortimore, 2020). Seven articles were selected based on inclusion criteria, publication date from 2020 until now regarding acute pyelonephritis.
