Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan respon pelaksanaan ?Pendekatan Brainology dan Psikologi Positif (CBT)? dalam mengembangkan kepribadian remaja putri yang berada di panti asuhan Aisyiyah Ronggowarsito Semarang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 30 responden remaja putri Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah sebagai subjek penelitian. Metodologi penelitian pada kajian ini adalah participatory action research. Metodologi ini merupakan salah satu model penelitian yang mencari sesuatu untuk menghubungkan proses penelitian ke dalam proses perubahan sosial. Perubahan sosial yang dimaksud adalah bagaimana dalam proses pemberdayaan dapat mewujudkan tiga tolak ukur, yakni adanya komitmen bersama dengan masyarakat dan adanya institusi baru dalam masyarakat yang dibangun berdasarkan kebutuhan. Sementara, untuk hasil dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis data, data yang sudah terkumpul dibuat dalam matriks, analisisi ini disebut analisis interaktif. Dalam matriks akan disajikan penggalan-penggalan data deskriptif sekitar peristiwa atau pengalaman masyarakat tertentu. Tahapan-tahapan analisisnya berupa pengumpulan data (data collection), reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), penarikan kesimpulan (conclutions). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Program pengembangan kepribadian remaja putri yang berada di panti asuhan dengan pendekatan Cognitive Behaviour Therapy dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan perilaku subjek penelitian. Subjek penelitian melakukan interaksi sosial dengan baik, sehingga subjek penelitian tetap menjaga hubungan atau kontak sosial, sehingga subjek penelitian merasa tidak sendiri. Kepribadian remaja putri panti semakin berkembang menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Building resilience in adolescents is an important need, especially for those who spend most of their time at home with their families while facing the pandemic situation. Resilience enables adolescents to survive, adapt, and rise up when faced with difficult circumstances. This study aims to empirically examine the role of secure attachment and mindfulness in adolescent resilience in the new normal era. The study subjects were 220 junior high school students in Semarang City, Indonesia, who were selected using the convenience sampling technique. The study is based on correlational quantitative research using regression analysis. The instruments used were the Secure Attachment Scale, Mindfulness Scale, and Resilience Scale. The results show that there was a significant and positive relationship between secure attachment and mindfulness, and adolescent resilience in the new normal era (R2 = .56, F = 16169, p < .01). The findings provide useful suggestions for families to emphasize the development of psychological skills, especially resilience in adolescents, throughout the country.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan stres dan strategi coping pada mahasiswa yang bertempat tinggal di Pondok Pesantren Tahaffudzul Qur’an Putri Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis melalui tahapan analisis Amadeo Giorgi. Pengambilan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan karakteristik: mahasiswa yang bertempat tinggal di Pondok Pesantren Tahaffudzul Qur’an Putri Semarang, berjenis kelamin wanita, dan yang berusia sekitar 18 – 25 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan gambaran dari stres yang dialami oleh mahasiswa yang bertempat tinggal di pondok pesantren mulai dari sumber stres, tingkat stres yang dialami, dan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari stres itu sendiri. Stres yang dialami oleh mahasiswa dikarenakan oleh adaptasi, ketidakmampuan untuk membagi waktu, terlebih lagi bagi santri yang menjabat menjadi pengurus di pondok di mana beban yang dirasakan ketika harus menjadi panutan saat diminta ngabdi dengan menjadi pengurus di pondok pesantren, juga adanya tuntutan akademik, dan tuntutan dari orang tua. Mayoritas dari mereka berada pada tingkat stres sedang yang mana tidak berlangsung lama. Dampak stres yang ditimbulkan berupa pusing, sakit kepala, sakit perut, kelelahan fisik, sulit konsentrasi, sulit tidur, mudah kaget, dan tidak nafsu makan. Coping stres yang dilakukan ialah menggunakan dua bentuk coping, yaitu emotion-focused coping dan problem- focused coping. Pada bagian emotion-focused coping, upaya untuk mengalihkan rasa stresnya menggunakan membaca Al – Qur’an, membaca buku tasawuf, mendengarkan murottal, serta sholawat yang mana lebih kepada pendekatan spiritual informan. Sedangkan pada problem-focused coping yang digunakan berupa sholat tahajud dan berdoa, serta mencari solusi atau nasihat dengan bercerita kepada ustadzah di pondok, sebagai upaya mencari bantuan untuk meredakan stres yang dialami oleh informan, penyelesaian stres yang lain yaitu menjaga waktunya dengan sebaik – baiknya dan tidak menyia – nyiakan sedikitpun seperti mengurangi scrolling tiktok, tidak nongkrong, dan hal – hal yang tidak bermanfaat lainnya untuk menjaga waktu dan memudahkan informan dalam mengelola waktu dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan menjadi bahan, informasi, dan masukan bagi mahasiswa, santri, tenaga pengajar, para peneliti selanjutnya, dan semua pihak, terutama dalam menghadapi stres dan menetralisir stresnya juga agar senantiasa meningkatkan kualitas penelitian di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Resilience is essential for mothers who experience pressure and stress while accompanying their children to take part in distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of self-esteem and social support on mothers’ resilience of Early Childhood Education students during distance learning assistance. This quantitative study uses a sample of 117 mothers of Early Childhood Education students in Bulusari Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling method. The measuring instrument of this study consisted of a self-esteem scale, a social support scale, and a resilience scale with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The data analysis method in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The study’s results showed that self-esteem and social support simultaneously significantly affected resilience with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 with a contribution of 41.3%. It proves that self-esteem and social support empirically have a role in the resilience of mothers of Early Childhood Education students during distance learning assistance.

Abstract

Independent learning readiness is needed for students due to student-focused learning. However, some students need higher self-learning readiness. This is certainly an obstacle for students when participating in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of self-efficacy on the readiness of students in central java to learn independently. This research is quantitative with an inferential approach. This study used a quantitative approach involving 101 students from central java. The research scale used is independent learning readiness and self-efficacy scales. The data obtained were then analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The statistical results analyzed using spss showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. From these results, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on students' readiness for independent learning in central java.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-regulated learning and peer social support in migrant students at UIN Walisongo. The research method used is quantitative correlation with analysis using Pearson correlation. The instruments used include peer social support and self-regulated learning scales. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling method involving 128 subjects. The results showed a positive relationship between peer social support and self-regulated learning in migrant students at UIN Walisongo. It can be concluded that the higher the social support of peers, the higher the ability of self-regulated learning in migrant students.

Abstract

In a state of mindfulness, a person deliberately focuses completely on one particular thing or activity, without being distracted by attention to other things. This research uses qualitative methods, especially phenomenology with the aim of understanding the picture of mindfulness of Psychology students at UIN Walisongo in maintaining mental health. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation, with a population of all Psychology students at UIN Walisongo and a sample of 5 informants selected using purposive sampling. The research results showed that 4 informants had a good picture of mindfulness because they fulfilled three main aspects, namely acting with awareness, observing, and accepting without judgment. One informant, although he had a good picture of mindfulness in the first two aspects, was still lacking in the aspect of accepting without judgment. These findings provide an overview of the level of mindfulness among Psychology students at UIN Walisongo, with potential implications in the development of mental health strategies or interventions in academic environments. These results provide valuable insight for the development of mental health intervention strategies among Psychology students at UIN Walisongo.

Abstract

Academic stress has become a worrying problem. Because this academic stress affects the performance in the classroom learning process of students. It is suspected that peer pressure is the cause of academic stress. This study aims to examine the influence of peer pressure on academic stress among students of UIN Walisongo Semarang. Using a survey method with a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 students through a questionnaire that measured the level of peer pressure and academic stress. The results of statistical analysis using simple linear regression showed that there was no significant influence between peer pressure and academic stress, with a p-value greater than 0.05. This finding suggests that peer pressure is not the main factor influencing academic stress in students of UIN Walisongo Semarang. Discussion of the results of this study reveals that there may be other factors that are more dominant in determining the level of academic stress.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of adjustment on student motivation at Sebelas Maret University. Quantitative research method with causality design was used to collect data from 40 students using accidental sampling method. Research instruments include self-adjustment scales and learning motivation scales that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of a simple linear regression analysis showed that self-adjustment had a significant effect on student learning motivation (p-value = 0.000). The regression coefficient (Beta) indicates the magnitude of the change in learning motivation if self-adjustment increases by 1 point, while the coefficient of determination (R square) indicates that self-adjustment has an effect of 43.5% on learning motivation, with 56.5% influenced by other variables. The suggestion for future research is to consider the addition of other variables that influence learning motivation and extend this research to different educational contexts. These findings make an important contribution to the understanding of the factors that influence student motivation.
