Abstract

The feasibility of tourism objects is important to be identified to assist in proper development planning, support local economic growth, and plan for sustainable use of resources. Alombango Beach is one of the natural tourist attractions located in Pohuwato Regency. The Alombango Beach Tourism Object has a beautiful natural charm, still natural, clean and far from the hustle and bustle of tourists because its existence is not known by the wider community, especially for prospective tourists outside the region. In its development, there are problems in the provision of facilities that are not optimal. This study aims to identify the feasibility of Alombango Beach Natural Tourism Objects with a 4 A approach (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity and Ancillary). The approach used is mix methods. The research variables are in the form of aspects of attractions, accessibility, facilities, and service institutions (Ancillary). The results of the study show that the elements of Attraction and Accessibility have an index of 83.33% and 80%, which means that they are in the category of high index or suitable for development. Meanwhile, the amenity and ancillary elements have an index of 66.66%, which means that they are in the category of medium or not yet suitable for development. The researcher hopes that the results of this study can be used as a reference in efforts to improve existing shortcomings so that the Alombango Beach Tourism Object can be more optimal in providing a satisfactory experience for tourists who visit, thereby contributing to supporting economic growth and sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Employees play a crucial role in creating added value for a company through innovation, operational efficiency, and excellent customer service. Leadership factors have a significant role in determining the success of an organization's goals in building good employee performance. Motivated by several employee performance issues, this research aims to examine how the leadership style applied at Hotel KUBE, influences employee performance. The data collected in this study consist of questionnaire responses from a sample of 57 participants using purposive sampling. Purposive sampling is a non-probability sampling technique in which the researcher selects samples based on specific considerations or objectives deemed relevant to the study. The sample selection is carried out intentionally to ensure that the samples possess certain characteristics required to answer the research questions. According to the theories of Sugiyono (2017) and Etikan and Bala (2020), purposive sampling is used when researchers have specific criteria or considerations in selecting research subjects, so the selected subjects are expected to provide in-depth information. Data collection utilized Likert scale questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Leadership Style does not have a significant influence on employee performance at Hotel KUBE, with an R2 value of 0.082 or 8.2%. The calculated t-value of -2.213 is smaller than the t-table value of 1.673, and the significance value is <α = 0.031 < 0.005.

A positive work environment, characterized by fair leadership and supportive colleagues, can enhance employee comfort and performance. Conversely, a negative work environment can hinder performance. This study aimed to examine the influence of the work environment on employee performance at Hotel PRL. The study population comprised 582 employees at the supervisor and staff levels, with a sample of 85 respondents selected through probability sampling using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale to measure 24 statement items. Data analysis techniques employed included simple linear analysis, t-test, and the coefficient of determination, processed using SPSS version 29. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect of 79.8% on employee performance. This highlights the importance of creating a conducive work environment to improve employee performance, especially since the average employee performance scores in 2022 and 2023 were still below the established standards, despite the positive influence of the work environment..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee turnover intensity at Hotel GI, Bali. The sample consisted of 47 respondents selected using stratified random sampling. This technique is appropriate due to the heterogeneous population with distinct subgroups, ensuring proportional representation. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires with a Likert scale. Leadership style was used as the independent variable and turnover intention as the dependent variable. Validity and reliability tests were carried out to ensure a robust research instrument (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.8). Simple linear regression analysis showed that leadership style has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (R = 62.5%). This means that the application of better leadership styles can reduce employees' desire to leave the organization. This research result is in line with the Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory which emphasizes the positive impact of a strong relationship between leaders and employees on job satisfaction and retention. This study also supports previous research on the role of transformational leadership in reducing turnover. It is recommended that leaders implement clear and directed leadership styles to minimize misunderstandings and improve employee retention..

The village community is very enthusiastic and open in receiving science and technology, especially related to the tourism sector. This has an impact on increasing community income and welfare. However, uncontrolled tourism activities also have a negative impact on the environment, such as pollution, habitat destruction, and increased waste. In addition, tourism development in villages is still faced with limited tourism infrastructure. For this reason, government support is needed in improving promotion, facilities, and multi-stakeholder involvement to make tourism villages a sustainable tourist destination.

Data collection techniques with questionnaires that have been designed. The method used in this study is multiple regression analysis which is analyzed using SEM-PLS 3.0 software. The results showed that facilities had no effect on travel interest with a p-value of 0.850 > 0.05, while location and destination image had a positive effect on travel interest with a p-value of 0.017 and 0.000 < 0.05, respectively. The R-square test result of 0.741 shows that travel interest is influenced by facilities, location, and destination image by 74.1%, while the rest is influenced by other variables. Conclusion that the manager must provide adequate facilities, clear directions and promote tourist attractions to attract tourists to visit.
