Abstract

Bontot crackers are crumbs (leftovers) of prawn cracker ingredients that can no longer be cut with a cutting machine. Bontot itself in the Sundanese sense can be understood as the last (youngest). Bontot Kerupuk itself is unique in terms of name, method of manufacture and raw materials that make up the dish. Bontot is a typical food from the Karawang region which is not widely known but has its own taste. The purpose of this study was to find out the typical food of the Karawang area which is known to the public. The method used in this study is a synthetic research method. The results of this study indicate that Kerupuk Bontot has a distinctive taste and aroma during the manufacturing process. Abstract

Bali with its mainstay sector in the tourism sector absorbs a high workforce. After the Covid-19 pandemic hit for almost 2 (two) years, Bali's position ranks 19th as a province that has a high unemployment rate in Indonesia. The percentage of poor people in Bali has also increased after the pandemic. This study aims to determine the effect of the tourism sector in Bali on poverty with the Open Unemployment Rate as an intervening variable. The independent variables used are the number of tourist visits, both domestic and foreign, and room occupancy rates which affect the percentage of poor people as the dependent variable, then as the intervening variable, namely the Open Unemployment Rate. The analysis technique used in this research is path analysis. The results of the analysis show that the number of tourist visits and the level of room occupancy directly or indirectly have a significant effect on the percentage of poor people.

Abstract

Negeri Tulehu is a village in Maluku Province, Central Maluku Regency. Negeri Tulehu is one of the customary-based villages that in daily life it is regulated in a culture that has been taught and preserved since ancient times. Marriage is one of the sacred activities in Negeri Tulehu and has been maintained to this day. The community believes that marriages carried out with a series of customs will receive blessings from the ancestors. This study aims to analyze the actual condition of local wisdom (marriage) in Negeri Tulehu, Central Maluku Regency. The research was conducted for three months from December to February 2023 covering an initial survey, collecting and processing data using the Phenomenology approach method. The result of the study showed that the marriage procedures that take place in Tulehu Country are still entrenched and are known to this day by the entire community. The 11 elements of marriage that have been preserved to date are Paharuru, Palamay, Malamait, Tauri, Hahalang, Nahusanamang, Dudu Kado, Kakopanokoi, Saudara Kawin, Pasiarere, and Pele Pintu. A series of local wisdom in marriage is a way to strengthen the ties of friendship and brotherhood of all the indigenous people of Negeri Tulehu.

Abstract

Innovations and initiatives in village tourism continue to grow along with community involvement and participation in the development of tourism products and activities in the village. The Kencana Tourism Awareness Group in Kemiren village continues to strive to maintain its branding as a cultural village by renewing the tourism products and activities offered. This study used an explanatory approach, with data collected through interviews, observations and literature studies. The results of the study identified the types of innovations, the role of the parties, especially the management of Kemiren traditional village in sustainable tourism development by maintaining tradition and culture. Some strengthening of traditions and innovations are reflected in products, processes, management, marketing, and institutions, among others: 1) the inventory of types of innovation in Kemiren Traditional Village, in the form of strengthening product promotion, tour packages, crafts through digital systems as a result of creativity and hard work of youth, 2) The role of stakeholders in tourism development as planners, facilitators, motivators, and communicators through pokdarwis, BUMDES, traditional dance studios, art communities and village culinary specialties, 3) strengthening policies and drafting village regulations in the preservation of Gandrung culture, traditional houses, and Kemiren traditional clothing, through village regulations for the preservation of traditional houses and village regulations for clean water management systems,  4) Facilitating the strengthening of business quality and services through soft loans to the community and small and medium enterprises, strengthening the capacity of tour guides who emphasize the uniqueness and uniqueness of the Osing Kemiren tourism village, 5) co-creation between the community and visitors in the form of activities and tourist attractions sangrai ngopi, ngopi ten ewu, or gejog lesung.

Abstract

Alor Regency is one of the regencies that has a lot of tourism potential and is also known as the land of a thousand mokos, therefore Alor is famous for its heaven in the east of the sun. According to the task obtained: This research was carried out in the village of Alor Besar Kec.ABAL with the title Analysis of the tourism potential of the Sebanjar beach. can spoil our eyes when we are there, the facilities that are offered are extraordinary where the local community organizes the tour very well. Sebanjar tourism looks crowded with visitors on holidays. On weekdays, visitors are not too crowded. To enter, visitors can pay a nominal fee of Rp. 2,000/person if seen from visitor data. Sebanjar beach tourism also provides facilities for visitors if they want to stay where there are eight villas. And there is also a cafe that provides typical food.

Abstract

Product and service quality in hospitality has an important role. Providing good service quality will lead to satisfaction for guests who stay overnight. Therefore, standard operating procedures for handling the completeness of guest equipment must be considered in preparing it. The purpose of this study was to find out the handling of guest equipment inventory in each room of the guests who stay so that guests feel satisfied and they will come again and will sell the hotel to family and friends. This research method uses a descriptive approach to finding service and hospitality to guests in creating guest satisfaction by providing lodging services and offering a variety of complementary facilities, such as restaurants, cafes, meeting rooms, and other services. The study results indicated that there were inventories that were not by standard operating procedures. The occurrence of a shortage of guest equipment in guest rooms could have an impact on decreasing the services provided by the hotel. Solutions made by housekeeping in dealing with the shortage of guest equipment in rooms had to be addressed immediately to ensure guest satisfaction was maintained. In addition, it is important to note that the goal of the hospitality industry is to create a pleasant experience for guests who stay. In this case, service and hospitality to guests is crucial. Through good service quality, guests will feel valued and cared for, so they will tend to return to stay at the hotel and even promote it to their family and friends and it is hoped that these things can help improve service quality and guest satisfaction.

Abstract

Binongko Beach is one of the areas located in the Kalabahi Kota Village, Teluk Mutiara District, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This beach is one of the beaches that looks very dirty because it is filled with a lot of garbage, there is a lot of trash scattered on the coast. This research will be carried out using qualitative methods as research observations, the purpose of researchers conducting research using a qualitative approach is to observe, explain, describe, describe critically, or describe a social phenomenon that occurs and researchers want to find information from this research about the coast. beach full of trash. The observation results show that the garbage scattered on the coast of Binongko Beach is waste generated from the surrounding community (organic and non-organic waste) and from ditch disposal from a hotel right opposite the beach. Based on the data obtained through observation and interviews, that is, every day the people on the coast of Binongko,litter the coast due to the unavailability of waste facilities and infrastructure provided by the government. which has an impact on environmental pollution such as garbage scattered along the coast, not only environmental pollution but has an impact on public health in the form of the emergence of diseases such as diarrhea.

Abstract

The city of Bogor has a water tourist attraction, namely Marcopolo Water Adventure Bogor. The current condition has problems with facilities and attractions, which has an impact on visitor satisfaction where the available facilities and attractions receive less attention from Marcopolo Water Adventure Bogor, thus causing visitors to feel less comfortable when carrying out activities at the tourist spot, thus affecting the feelings they feel. caused by visitors. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of facilities and attractions on visitor satisfaction at Marcopolo Water Adventure Bogor. This research uses quantitative methods with a sample of 100 visitors. This sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data used a designed questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The research results show that facilities and attractions influence visitor satisfaction with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. With the determination test results, 53.3% is influenced by this variable and the rest is influenced by other variables. The conclusion is that these changes will help visitor satisfaction by providing more facilities and more attractions to meet visitors' needs while carrying out activities at the place.

Abstract

Indonesia's food waste generation is the second largest in the world after Saudi Arabia. Food waste generation in Indonesia is estimated at 300 kilograms per person per year, while in Saudi Arabia it is 427 kilograms per person per year (Luna, & Suryana, 2022). Hotel, restaurant, catering, and household waste contribute to this waste. This research was conducted to determine the importance of awareness and understanding by restaurants as one of the contributors to food waste in Indonesia related to the issue of food waste. The approach model applied is descriptive qualitative. Data is presented in descriptive form, with this approach focusing on in-depth explanation and description of the phenomenon under study. The results showed that the main factors causing food waste at Peninsula Manado hotel were inaccuracy in organising buffet set-up, and negligence from consumers who could not manage their portions properly. The implication of this research is the need to have a special management system from the hotel in reducing food loss and food waste.
