Abstract

This study aims to classify the sales performance of food and beverage products using the Decision Tree algorithm. The dataset, obtained from local F&B retail transaction records, includes four key attributes: city, product category, price, and discount percentage, with the target label “Laku” (Yes/No). The research process involves data verification, an 80/20 train–test split, model construction using the Gain Ratio criterion, and performance evaluation through accuracy, precision, and recall metrics in RapidMiner. The resulting model achieved an accuracy of 94.58%, with precision values of 96.53% for the “Laku” class and 89.55% for “Tidak Laku.” The decision rules indicate that price and discount are the most influential factors affecting product sales, where moderate prices and discounts above 10–15% increase the likelihood of products being sold. These findings confirm that Decision Tree provides interpretable and actionable insights for optimizing pricing and promotional strategies. Therefore, the model can serve as a decision-support tool for small and medium F&B enterprises to forecast product performance and enhance marketing decisions.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, particularly in computer vision, has led to the proliferation of deepfake technology, which enables the creation of highly realistic synthetic facial images. This study proposes a deep learning-based approach for detecting real and fake faces using convolutional neural networks (CNN), specifically ResNet18, ResNet34, and ResNet50 architectures. The dataset used includes a public dataset from Kaggle (140K Real and Fake Faces) and a locally collected dataset to evaluate model generalization. Data preprocessing such as resizing, normalization, and augmentation were applied to improve robustness. Training employed transfer learning with fine-tuning over multiple epochs. Evaluation metrics included accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, confusion matrix, and inference time. The results showed that ResNet50 achieved the highest validation accuracy of 94.1%, outperforming the other architectures. The integration of local datasets and data augmentation significantly improved classification performance. This model demonstrates strong potential for real-world deployment in digital security systems requiring deepfake detection.

Abstract

Since the 1980s, palm oil has been a special commodity for Indonesia because it provides the largest income for the country, providing economic turnover for rural communities. Although palm oil has become a special commodity for Indonesia, it cannot be denied that until now many problems are still faced by palm oil farmers, namely, difficulties in fertilizer, inadequate human resources of palm oil farmers, land conflicts and production results rejected by palm oil mills. The local government does not have valid data on smallholder oil palm plantations, causing local government planning and policies regarding the distribution of subsidized fertilizers and assistance with superior oil palm seeds to farmers to be inaccurate. In order to increase the low productivity of smallholder oil palm plantations, it is necessary to immediately organize the management of smallholder oil palm plantations based on digital data so that the government or related institutions can make plans and decisions about increasing the capacity of oil palm farmers based on valid, easy and fast to access information. Digital transformation in the upstream activities of the oil palm plantation supply chain is the first step in realizing modern smallholder plantations. This study applies an information system framework analysis approach to develop an information system for smallholder oil palm plantations in Kuok District, Kampar Regency. Identifying management challenges, analyzing information technology infrastructure, understanding basic business process concepts, developing systems, and developing desired business application characteristics provide a basic framework for an ideal smallholder oil palm plantation information system for village, sub-district, and regional governments. The analysis results in a prototype application that displays farmer profile information, plantation characteristics, and production results. The information can be accessed at three managerial levels: the village, sub-district, and district government levels (Plantation Office).

Abstract

With the development of ICT (Information and Communication Technology), cybersecurity threats to companies are becoming increasingly complex and diverse, one of which is malware that can attack endpoint devices such as computers/laptops and servers in companies. An effective approach in dealing with these challenges is to implement a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) system that is able to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time by implementing an endpoint security monitoring system using the Wazuh platforsm in a structured corporate network environment. The method used in this study is the PPDIOO Method (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize). As a stage starting with (a) prepare is used to analyze needs, (b) plan to design IP addresses, (c) design to design network topology, (d) implement, namely implementing SIEM with wazuh installation and configuration by setting Path scanning warning malware files, (e) operate to monitor and test wazuh, (f) optimize to make modifications to improve system performance. The results of this study are that the test that has been carried out wazuh as much as 1 time can detect malware on one endpoint device and On the Wazuh dashboard, an alert notification appears that the desktop endpoint received a real-time malware attack numbering one and malware warning notifications are sent to telegram bots so that users are immediately aware, this shows that wazuh can be used to analyze, monitor and respond to security incidents

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a student facial classification model for attendance verification using Google Vertex AI AutoML. A total of 401 facial images representing 20 student classes were utilized, undergoing preprocessing steps including resizing to 224×224 RGB resolution and conversion to 8-bit format. Data augmentation techniques such as horizontal flipping, ±15° rotation, and brightness modulation were applied to enhance dataset variability. After refinement, 367 images were retained and divided into training (80%), validation (10%), and testing (10%) sets. The model was trained using the Edge TPU – Best Prediction mode in Vertex AI AutoML, resulting in an excellent performance with an average precision of 0.999, precision of 100%, and recall of 89.2%. The confusion matrix indicated that most classes were accurately identified with minimal recall errors. The finalized model was converted to TensorFlow Lite (TFLite) format and tested on edge devices, demonstrating efficient inference and accurate recognition. The findings affirm the effectiveness of integrating AutoML and TFLite to implement lightweight, resource-efficient face recognition systems suitable for student attendance applications on constrained hardware platforms.

Abstract

The rapid population growth in Banda Aceh City, reaching 259,538 inhabitants in 2024, has significantly increased traffic congestion and posed critical infrastructure challenges. Traditional video-based traffic monitoring systems raise privacy concerns due to the collection of personal data such as license plates and facial images. This research proposes a non-invasive traffic density monitoring system utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology as a privacy-preserving alternative. The system architecture consists of three main layers: an Android-based mobile gateway for BLE signal detection, a cloud backend infrastructure using AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge) for data processing, and a web application developed with Next.js for visualization. Field testing conducted at Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman Bus Stop demonstrated that the system operates stably and effectively. The mobile gateway successfully detected BLE devices continuously, transmitted data to the backend without packet loss, and the web dashboard displayed traffic information through interactive maps and tables. The results indicate that BLE-based traffic monitoring provides an effective, and privacy-preserving solution for urban traffic management, particularly suitable for developing regions with limited technical infrastructure.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires a modern management information system (MIS) to integrate data originating from various subsystems with heterogeneous formats, terminology and structure. Conventional schema mapping and extraction-transformation-load (ETL) based approaches are often incapable of addressing these challenges semantically. Semantic Ontologies offer conceptualization solutions that support interoperability and enable automated reasoning. This article presents a comprehensive understanding of the current literature on the application of semantic ontologies to information systems, highlighting the main contributions and limitations of previous research. The results show that most research still focuses on specific domains (culture, education, business), while semantic transmission across enterprise subsystems, ontology evolution issues, and performance evaluation measures are still rarely researched. Based on this mix, this research offers a semantic ontology framework designed for holistic data representation in integrated MIS, with the emphasis of ontology development across subsystems (ERP, CRM, SCM, HRIS), as well as performance evaluation measured in the aspects of interoperability, reasoning and query efficiency. It is hoped that this information contribution can strengthen the destruction of management systems while increasing the organization's adaptability to digital business dynamics.
