Abstract

Rosela flower (H. sabdariffa L.) is one of the plants that has many health benefits, which contain Vitamin C, Vitamin A, essential proteins, and 18 types of amino acids that aim to strengthen the body's immune system, treat diabetes, inhibit cancer cells and many more properties of this plant. Gelling agent commonly used to make jelly candy is gelatin, but in the application sometimes gelatin even makes the texture of jelly candy becomes very hard if the added concentration is not appropriate, besides the price of special gelatin food ( food grade) is still relatively expensive compared to other hydrocolloid materials. That's why it takes another gel shaper that can improve the quality of the texture of jelly candy and suppress the use of gelatin, one of which can be used seaweed (E. spinosum). The objective of this research was to find out the effect of various proportions of seaweed (E. spinosum) and gelatin on the characteristics of roselle jelly candy (H. sabdariffa L.). The method used is non-parametric statistical tests (Friedman test) with 10 levels of treatment and performed three times the test on each treatment. The treatment that will be done is a comparison of various proportions of seaweed: gelatin, namely PI (0: 8); P2 (0: 10); P3 (25:8); P4 (25:10); P5 (30:8); P6 (30:10); P7 (35:0); P8 (35:8); P9 (40:0) and P10 (40:8). The results showed there was a very noticeable difference in all the comparative treatment of seaweed and gelatin proportions against all test parameters. The best organoleptic test results showed color organoleptic test scores of 3.00 (neutral), organoleptic textures of 3.37 (neutral-like), organoleptic flavors of 3.40 (neutral-like) and organoleptic aromas of 3.00 (neutral).

Abstract

The development of streaming radio has been very developed, radio in digital form is also known as internet radio because to access streaming radio you must use the internet media. However, there are several radio stations in Ponorogo that still use conventional radio whose coverage is limited because they use an antenna to reach the signal range, and can only reach local areas because Ponorogo has several highlands and several mountains. This study aims to create a Networked Streaming Radio application so that Ponorogo radio station broadcasts can reach any place that has an internet connection and can accommodate the Ponorogo radio station industry which still does not have an Android-based streaming radio as a media convergence collaboration movement for the Ponorogo radio discussion forum. This research uses the waterfall which consists of five stages, namely: identification, design, implementation, verification, maintenance. Testing this streaming radio application using the black box method shows the application is running well and there are no errors. Testing using 6 different media and resolutions was carried out to find out whether the Ponorogo Radio application could run well on various media/smartphones and different resolutions.

Abstract

Today's modern world of hatching many turkey eggs uses various incubators. Arduino-based turkey egg incubator with the molen rotation method uses an Arduino microcontroller that is connected to a DHT11 sensor for turkey egg incubator using the molen rotation method. Temperature and humidity are the main factors to determine the success at hatching of eggs, but also the need for the fertilization process in the eggs to be hatched because fertilization also determines the success rate at hatching eggs. Testing of the incubator is carried out directly from the turkey egg incubator at the temperature in the room and rotates it with the automatic spinning method with an angle of 360 ° every 4 hours. DHT11 can detect temperature and humidity in the incubator room, the optimal temperature for hatching turkey eggs is 37 ° -38 ° C and the optimal humidity is 55-60% RH, and the servo motor is able to move to move the egg rack according to the time specified. The measurement results of the DHT11 sensor readings are as desired with a minimum temperature reading of 37⁰C and a maximum temperature of 39⁰C with humidity that has been set at 55-60% and the molen rotation method runs according to the desired time every 6 hours for 4 times with 360 ⁰ rotation, at days 1-26 turkey eggs hatch with a result of 3: 2 in the sense that 3 successfully hatched and 2 failed to hatch.
