Abstract

This research focuses on crafting a seamless and intuitive user interface and experience through a reservation website tailored for Terajeh Coffee & Steak House, located in Cirebon City. The main issue addressed is the limitation of social media in providing comprehensive information about menus, reservations, and brand identity, thus necessitating a more representative website to support the digital transformation of this F&B business. The research employs the Five Planes approach, consisting of five strategic stages from identifying objectives and user needs to the visual interface. Figma was used to develop wireframes and prototypes, while Maze facilitated user interaction testing. The usability assessment was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, where users filled out a questionnaire after directly interacting with the developed prototype. The results show an informative and interactive website prototype with an SUS score falling into the good category, although there are still suggestions for improving navigation and visual elements. This study is important as it offers a systematic approach to UI/UX design that can enhance user experience and strengthen business image, although it does not yet cover the full functional development of the website.

Abstract

This study assesses IT risk management capability at PT. KLM using COBIT 5.0 APO12. Current capability (As-Is) is level 3 (Established Process), with consistent but incomplete documentation and integration, while target capability (To-Be) is level 5 (Optimising Process). The gap highlights the need for better documentation, monitoring, data integration, and automated evaluation. Recommendations include formal process documentation, standardized risk matrices, clear unit roles, and periodic reviews to achieve more effective risk management aligned with strategic objectives.

Abstract

Document archive management in the banking sector requires high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and security. However, at PT Bank XYZ, the archiving process is still conducted manually, leading to several issues such as delays in document retrieval, risk of document loss, data duplication, and limited physical storage space. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a digital document archive management system that aligns with user needs and actual workflows in a banking environment. The research employs the Design Thinking method, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with employees involved in document archiving activities. The results of this study are presented in the form of a prototype developed using Figma, featuring key functionalities such as a dashboard, fast document search, document upload, notifications, and role-based access control. Testing results indicate that the proposed UI/UX design is user-friendly, intuitive, and capable of improving work efficiency, although several minor improvements are still required. Therefore, this design is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of an effective digital archiving system and to support digital transformation in the banking sector.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to improve the performance of Batik Keraton motif classification on an imbalanced dataset through the integration of adaptive class weighting and data augmentation within a transfer learning framework. The dataset consists of 1,799 images across four classes (Kawung, Mega Mendung, Parang, Truntum), preprocessed to 224×224 pixels and split stratifiedly into training, validation, and test sets (80/10/10). Three transfer learning architectures—ResNet50V2, VGG16, and EfficientNetB0—were evaluated with adaptive class weighting and geometric augmentation to enhance minority-class representation. The results indicate that ResNet50V2 with pretrained weights achieved the best performance, reaching a test accuracy of 92.78%, macro precision of 93.13%, macro recall of 92.79%, and a macro F1-score of 92.83%. Adaptive class weighting improved sensitivity toward minority classes, while augmentation contributed to model stability and generalization. These findings demonstrate that combining adaptive weighting and augmentation effectively enhances Batik Keraton motif classification under imbalanced data conditions.

Abstract

This research develops a real-time, web-based monitoring and reporting system for production machine repairs to overcome issues found in manual processes, such as delayed handling, limited transparency, and difficulties in tracking repair progress. Using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology and UML-based system modeling, the system was built with PHP and the Laravel framework to ensure modularity and efficiency. The implemented system improves reporting accuracy, speeds up communication between technicians, admins, and section heads, and enhances oversight of repair activities. The results show that the system increases transparency, streamlines repair management, and contributes to better operational productivity

Abstract

This study designs a web-based application that manages event submissions integrated with material requests and real-time notifications to streamline the operational workflow of BINUS Building Management. Material requests can only be created once the corresponding event has been approved, ensuring a more controlled and traceable process. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to objectively determine event submission priorities based on predefined criteria. The development process involves identifying user needs, designing the system architecture, implementing the required features, and evaluating their functionality. The system improves the sequence and organization of material requests after event approval and accelerates communication through instant notifications delivered to relevant parties, including the ISS team. The findings indicate enhanced efficiency in handling submissions and approvals, reduced communication errors, and more accurate data processing, ultimately supporting better overall operational performance for BINUS Building Management.

Abstract

Water wastage in boarding houses is often caused by undetected pipe leakage due to the lack of real-time monitoring systems. This condition can lead to increased operational costs and potential structural damage. This study aims to develop a web-based water pipe leakage detection analysis system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system utilizes an ESP8266 (microcontroller) and a water flow sensor to identify abnormal water flow patterns. Data is processed using PHP and MySQL and presented through a web-based dashboard in the form of graphs and tables. The system was developed using the Waterfall method. The results indicate that the system is able to accurately distinguish water flow characteristics. Based on blackbox testing, all functional features achieved 100% validity. The system successfully identifies a "Leakage Detected" status when continuous water flow exceeds the defined duration threshold without user activity and assigns a "Normal" status when the flow corresponds to typical usage patterns. This implementation proves to be effective as a monitoring tool for early detection and prevention of losses caused by water leakage.

Abstract

The management of water billing in boarding houses often faces problems related to accuracy and fairness due to manual recording systems. This study aims to design a web-based monthly water billing system that can calculate and present water usage charges accurately for each room. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Water consumption data are processed to generate monthly bills based on predefined tariffs and stored in a database for reporting purposes. The application was implemented using PHP and MySQL. System testing using black-box testing shows that the billing calculation and reporting functions run correctly. The proposed system is expected to improve accuracy and efficiency in water billing management for boarding houses. The testing results indicate that the system is able to accurately calculate water bills based on usage data and predefined tariffs, as well as automatically generate monthly reports.
