Abstract

The New Student Admission (PMB) process at Pamulang University currently relies on one-way information channels such as Instagram and brochures only at designated posts. This condition limits access to information for prospective students, especially when they require quick and detailed answers regarding registration requirements, schedules, and tuition fees. Furthermore, the large number of applicants in each admission period makes manual inquiry services inefficient and prone to delays. Therefore, a technology-based solution must provide interactive, fast, and accurate information services. This study aims to develop a Chatbot based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) using the Sentence-BERT (SBERT) algorithm to support the PMB process at the Informatics Engineering Program at Pamulang University. The Chatbot is designed to provide accurate and relevant automated responses to prospective students' inquiries regarding PMB. The SBERT algorithm enhances the Chatbot’s ability to understand sentence meanings and deliver contextual responses. The software development adopts the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The expected outcome is a Chatbot system with- high response accuracy that improves efficiency and accessibility of PMB information services. This research is expected to contribute to the implementation of NLP technology in academic environments.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a web-based employee attendance system integrating barcode scanning and GPS as attendance verification mechanisms at PT Inscienpro Instrument Indonesia. The previous method relied on WhatsApp location sharing, which was manual and vulnerable to data manipulation. The system was developed using Extreme Programming (XP) methodology with PHP and MySQL. Testing used Black Box and White Box methods. Results show the system improves data accuracy, reduces fraud potential, and accelerates attendance recap processes.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has led to an exponential increase in data volume, requiring efficient and high-performance sorting algorithms. Sorting is one of the fundamental operations in large-scale data processing. This study aims to analyze the performance of the Quick Sort and Merge Sort algorithms in sorting large datasets based on time complexity using Big-O notation. The research method employed is experimental, by implementing both algorithms on datasets of various sizes, then measuring execution time and analyzing their time complexity under best-case, average-case, and worst-case conditions. The results show that Quick Sort performs faster on average with a time complexity of O(n log n), but its performance can degrade to O(n²) in the worst case. Meanwhile, Merge Sort demonstrates more stable performance with a time complexity of O(n log n) in all cases, although it requires additional memory usage. Based on these findings, the selection of sorting algorithms for large-scale data             should consider data characteristics and memory requirements to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

Native chicken farming plays an essential role in supporting community food supply, particularly as a source of animal protein. However, feeding activities and feed stock management are still commonly performed manually, resulting in high labor requirements and time consumption. inconsistent feeding schedules, and inadequate monitoring of feed availability, which may negatively affect farm productivity. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart farm system that enables automatic feeding and real-time monitoring of feed stock for native chicken farming. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the main control unit, a servo motor to regulate feed distribution, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure feed levels, and a Real Time Clock (RTC) module to manage feeding schedules. All system information and feed stock status are transmitted directly to farmers through the Telegram application using a Bot API. The research method applied in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using a prototyping approach, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, prototype development, testing, and implementation. The results demonstrate that the developed system can operate automatically according to predefined schedules and provide timely notifications when feed stock reaches a critical level. The implementation of this system improves operational efficiency, reduces manual workload, and supports better management of native chicken farming through the use of IoT technology.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has prompted institutions to transition from manual systems to digital ones. The Sikampuh Village Office still uses conventional methods in archiving incoming and outgoing letters, such as recording in an agenda book and storing documents in folders. This method creates various problems, including difficulties in locating documents, the risk of damage, and the potential loss of archives. This study aims to design a web-based e-archive information system that is valid and effective to support the archiving process in the Sikampuh Village Office. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), which involves problem identification, data collection, system design, design validation, testing, and product revision. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, and can be accessed through an internet connection. Internal and external validation results show an average score of 3.3–3.4, categorized as highly valid. Effectiveness testing indicates an improvement in performance from 37.5% (old system) to 82.5% (new system). Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology has brought significant transformations to the medical field, one of which is through the utilization of expert systems. The primary problem addressed in this research is the high prevalence of diabetes mellitus, which is often diagnosed too late due to a lack of public knowledge regarding early symptoms and the limited number of medical specialists. This condition increases the risk of serious complications and mortality. The objective of this study is to design and develop a web-based expert system capable of   performing early diagnosis of potential diabetes and providing educational information about its symptoms to the public and non-specialist medical personnel. The method used in the development of this system is the Certainty Factor (CF). This method was selected for its ability to accommodate data uncertainty by assigning confidence values to each symptom based on expert knowledge. The system processes the symptoms entered by the user and displays the diagnosis results sorted by the highest certainty value (descending). The result of this research is a web-based expert system application that serves as an early screening tool at RSAB Harapan Kita. This system is expected to facilitate easier access to information, accelerate the initial diagnosis process, and assist the community in the accurate prevention and early management of diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Corporate asset management is a crucial aspect in supporting operational effectiveness and business sustainability. However, conventional asset management systems often face various challenges, such as a lack of data integration, low information accuracy, and limitations in analysis and decision-making. Along with technological advancements, Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers opportunities to improve information system performance through analytical, predictive, and process automation capabilities. This research aims to design an integrative model of Artificial Intelligence in information systems for corporate asset management. The research method used is a qualitative approach, incorporating literature review and conceptual analysis of various information system models and relevant AI applications. The proposed model integrates several key components: asset data management, an AI-based analytical module, a decision support system, and a standardized inter-system integration mechanism. The results show that the designed integrative model can improve asset management efficiency through real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimized resource utilization. Furthermore, this model also supports faster and more accurate data-driven decision-making. Implementing this model is expected to help companies improve operational performance, reduce the risk of asset damage, and strengthen competitiveness in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The management of official travel in government institutions requires a structured and efficient system, particularly in cost management. However, in practice, many institutions still rely on manual or semi-computerized processes, which may lead to data recording errors, reporting delays, and low efficiency in data management. This study aims to develop a web-based official travel information system to improve cost management efficiency in government institutions. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes requirement analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), system development using PHP and MySQL, and system testing through Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results indicate that the developed system is capable of integrating the entire official travel management process, from data entry to report generation. The system significantly improves time efficiency, data accuracy, and ease of cost management and reporting. Furthermore, it enhances transparency and cost control within the organization. Therefore, the proposed web-based information system can serve as an effective solution to support digital transformation and improve financial management quality in government institutions.

Abstract

Bonus incentives are additional rewards provided to employees to improve motivation, productivity, and work performance. PT. XYZ faces difficulties in determining eligible bonus recipients because the assessment process involves multiple criteria and is still conducted conventionally using Microsoft Excel. The manual process requires data collection, sorting, calculation, and reporting, which takes considerable time and often results in less accurate decisions due to subjective judgment. To address this issue, this research implemented a Decision Support System using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The developed system helps simplify and accelerate the evaluation process in determining employees who deserve bonus incentives more objectively and accurately. In addition, the system is capable of generating decision reports quickly, securely, and in a structured manner, thereby improving efficiency and supporting better decision-making within the company.
