Abstract

Efforts in improving the quality of education in its management system emphasize the independence and creativity of schools in processing potential educational resources through collaboration with the government and the community in making decisions to meet the goals of improving school quality. To become a quality educational institution, of course there are efforts made from all elements of the institution. One of the efforts made is by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM). This paper examines the TQM approach in developing a quality school model. The achievements made by a quality school can be seen in the context of student achievement, both academic and non-academic. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, and the type of research used is library research, which is collecting data or scientific papers related to the object of research or data collection that is library in nature. The results found There is a trilogy of managerial processes in improving quality, namely quality planning, quality control, quality improvement.

Abstract

Recently, marketing management in the world of education is very much needed in line with the competition between educational institutions that is getting stronger because it is driven from various aspects, both the needs of society to the increasingly unlimited digital world. Marketing Management is needed for all educational institutions, both new and old institutions in building and maintaining their positive and attractive image.  This research aims to understand and describe what are the objectives of marketing in the education zone, especially in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah QITA, then what are the elements of the marketing mix strategy that affect the marketing in MI QITA and the marketing management process itself. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with a case study approach, as well as data collection techniques based on the results of in-depth interviews, observations and documentation of facts in the field. The results of this study are the form of details of the expected objectives of MI QITA's marketing management as a new institution, elements of the marketing mix that affect marketing and marketing management consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and documentation.

Abstract

Integrated education is a concept of education management by combining several curriculum structures into an educational institution with to achieving the goals, visions and missions set and approved by members of the educational institution. This is done as an effort to answer the challenges of the 4.0 era which is increasingly complex and it is not enough to master one particular field or group of lessons so that it is a necessity student always survive in this modern era. This research aims to find out and explain to public about the concept of integration education applied by the Ya'qubiyah Junior High School located in Wajak District, Malang Regency. This research is a qualitative research with case research in order to find phenomena that actually occur in the research location so that this research concludes that the institution combines the national curriculum with the pesantren curriculum and separates the management of curriculum management into three main parts to maximize the development and management of an integrated curriculum and there is a special policy that requires students to master the two sciences that characterize the institution.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan SMK menjalin kerja sama dengan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI) melalui peranan hubungan masyarakat yang ada di sekolah. Humas sekolah memegang peranan sangat penting untuk menjembatani serta mendukung terwujudnya kerjasama dan hubungan yang baik dengan DUDI. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis (1) upaya humas dalam membangun, memelihara kerjasama dengan DUDI, (2) strategi humas dengan DUDI dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan siswa di SMKN 2 Ponorogo (3) implikasi humas dengan DUDI  dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan siswa di SMKN 2 Ponorogo. Melaluippendekatan kualitatif, dengannmetode deskriptif, teknikkpengumpulan data dilakukannmelalui wawancara, observasi, dannstudi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitiannadalah Humas, ketua program keahlian, kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: upaya humas dalam membangun, memelihara serta menjaga kerjasama dengan DUDI di SMKN 2 ponorogo yaitu dengan berkomunikasi dan interaksi yang baik dari tim Humas dengan mitra kerja DUDI, berkoordinasi langsung kepala sekolah tim Humas dan pihak DUDI, strategi yang digunakan tim humas sekaligus kepala sekolah dan DUDI untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan siswa yaitu, Mengembangkan program sekolah seperti Theacing Factory (pembelajaran kewirausahaan), Mengembangkan sumber daya manusia atau potensi mengajar guru produktif, implikasi dari peran humas dan DUDI dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan siswa yaitu, meningkatnya kreatifitas dan kompetensi siswa, meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa dalam berwirausaha di dalam sekolah maupun di luar sekolah.Kata Kunci: Hubungan Masyarakat; DUDI (Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri); Kompetensi Lulusan.

Abstract

Pesantren is an educational institution in Indonesia that uses the classical book as a reference for learning. The classical book contains the contents of various sciences that guide Muslims in their live. Islamic boarding schools are currently facing the modernization of Islamic education. One of the pesantren that follows the development of science and the progress of the times is the An-Nur 3 Islamic Boarding School. This Islamic boarding school provides primary, secondary, and high school education and has an advanced level of learning, a special program, namely the College of Classical Book (STIKK). This study aims to describe how the learning management of the classical book in STIKK An-Nur 3, from Lesson planning, Learning implementation, and Learning evaluation. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research data were taken by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results showed that this STIKK is the program of AN-Nur 3, which aims to teach the essence of the classical book more deeply than the previous madrasah levels. In learning the Classical book at STIKK, there is a planning, implementation, and evaluation process that supports learning activities to run effectively and efficiently. What distinguishes it from other educational programs is that students at STIKK, besides studying the yellow book, also study in a university that has an agreement with STIKK.

Abstract

AbstractDuring the 4.0 revolution, education was required to apply new innovations and be able to compete with other educational institutions. To realize Human Resources (HR) that can advance, enhance and realize the ideals of the nation, institutions must be flexible in organizing and providing the latest learning system in the 4.0 revolution era amidst the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the concept of independent learning which was initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture. Is expected to be able to realize quality learning and be able to compete in the current development of globalization. The design of independent learning, the leadership of the principal is very meaningful, especially in fostering teachers in delivering material, not free from the concept of an independent learning curriculum which was formed in such a way during the Covid 19 period, so that the learning system accelerates concepts and curriculum development programs that are very fast, so that educational innovation realized in the learning experience is needed by students.Keyword: Freedom of Learning, Curriculum, Quality

Abstract

Curriculum development has a very crucial role in the education process, especially in the learning process. The achievement of learning depends on the management of curriculum development that carried out in each school. This study aims to determine the management of madrasa-based curriculum development that carried out at MTs Ma'arif NU Malang City. This research used descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects studied were curriculum documents that had been developed, the subjects interviewed were the head of the madrasa, vice of curriculum, and teacher representatives. The results showed that the management of curriculum development at MTs Ma'arif NU Malang City includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of the curriculum is carried out in macro and micro. Macro implementation by the curriculum development team, by the head of the madrasa and the vice of the curriculum to design selective programs such as aswaja deed and tahfidz programs. While the implementation of the micro curriculum is carried out by each subject teacher, which is the activity of developing the curriculum in the learning process. Starting from the lesson plans outlined in the RPP, the learning process using creative and varied learning methods, to the assessment process. Evaluation activities are carried out every mid-semester and are also carried out directly when the teacher is experiencing problems during the implementation process.

Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of Turnitin scanning at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang which was carried out at the Research and Academic Writing Center (Pusat Penelitian dan Academic Writing, PPAW) on student proposals and thesis. The existence of Turnitin scanning itself is due to seeing the phenomenon of plagiarism among students which until now has been included in the category of concern, so efforts are needed to prevent the negative behavior in the world of education. This article is the result of research that uses a qualitative approach, which is carried out by analyzing the data from Turnitin proposals and thesis for FITK students at PPAW. With purposive sampling method, there are three sample study programs, namely Islamic Religious Education (PAI), Islamic Education Teacher Education (PGMI), and Social Science Education (PIPS). The data analysis in this study uses Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. There are two conclusions, first, the Turnitin scanning process at PPAW begins with sending proposals and student thesis through the google form that has been provided previously. When getting the similarity results as determined, the student will be sent a plagiarism-free certificate. However, if they fail, the student will be given information regarding this and sent a scan of Turnitin as revision material. The process from start to finish takes 1-5 working days. For students who fail, the submission of new revisions can be done after seven days. Second, it can be concluded in general that Turnitin scanning in PPAW is effective in tackling plagiarism among students, even though there are various delinquency committed by them, namely reducing or adding letters, changing into images, using inappropriate direct quotations, deleting parts that have high similarity, and sending revisions that are not in accordance with a predetermined schedule. Finally, to be more effective, this study recommends several further policies, namely sending in word form with a few exceptions for pages with image formats, examining all files and changing the color to black, making Turnitin scanned files as manuscripts for proposal seminars and munaqasyah, and lastly, providing training on how to write good scientific papers.

Abstract

Industry 4.0, also known as the disruptive period, stresses increasing efforts to place humans at the center of innovation (human-centered) while technical developments are used to improve the quality of life, social responsibility, and sustainability in all disciplines, including education. In light of the 5.0 social media age, the purpose of this study is to examine school literacy policies. This study uses qualitative analysis in conjunction with a library study and the Society 5.0 concept approach to literacy policy. Journals, articles, books, and other pertinent references were used as data sources for this study. Using library studies and documentation, data collection strategies are used. The findings revealed that in the period of society 5.0, literacy policies based on old literacy (basic literacy) must be replaced with new literacy based on the internet, technology, and social media.

Abstract

Education is currently in a new state after Covid-19, which has brought changes to education. Especially in the competence of teachers whose development is highly demanded to face the normal era. This study aims to reveal the role of school principals in improving the ability of teachers, so that teacher commitment can be maintained through a school quality culture. This study uses a library research research method by using documentation data collection techniques from several references and the analysis is carried out using descriptive analysis methods. The results obtained that school principals can carry out strategies to increase teacher commitment in the normal era through attention to improving the quality of learning, fulfilling infrastructure, increasing teacher professionalism, forming work teams, giving authority to regulate good learning flows to teachers, establishing collaboration with outside parties, providing rewards to teachers, to evaluations that build teacher commitment.
