Abstract

According to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2016, the quality of pharmaceutical services in pharmacies can be guaranteed through the use of pharmaceutical service standards. Quality pharmaceutical services have an influence as far as customers are satisfied and there are no complaints about the services provided at the pharmacy. Problems that emerged at the Riyad Pharmacy during January to September 2022 included the lack of friendliness of pharmacy staff in serving visitors, prescription drug service taking a long time and limited drug stock. Using the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) questionnaire, this research aims to measure satisfaction with pharmacy services from the aspects of responsiveness, reliability, assurance, empathy, and concrete evidence of the quality of pharmaceutical services at the Riyad Surakarta Pharmacy. The quality of pharmaceutical services offered by Apotek Riyad Surakarta was evaluated and the results were described using descriptive research methods. Purposive sampling was used to select 210 pharmaceutical service users for this study. The Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) score at Riyad Surakarta Pharmacy is 78 with service quality B including good service performance, according to a study of pharmaceutical service quality.

Abstract

One common obstacle during lactation is the delayed onset of breast milk production. To address the issue of delayed breast milk secretion, a potential solution is administering honey as a stimulus to facilitate timely milk production. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of honey supplementation in promoting breast milk secretion among postpartum mothers at Klinik Hidayah Baki Sukoharjo. The study adopts a Quasi-Experimental design with one control group and one case group. Consecutive Sampling is employed, with a sample size of 40 respondents meeting the inclusion criteria. The statistical test utilized is the Mann-Whitney test. The research findings indicate that breast milk secretion is smoother in the experimental group, with an average on the 4th day, compared to the control group with an average on the 7th day. Therefore, the use of honey appears to expedite breast milk secretion in postpartum mothers. The p-value is 0.010 (p < 0.05), signifying a significant difference in breast milk secretion between the experimental and control groups. Based on these results, it can be concluded that honey supplementation is effective in accelerating breast milk secretion in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

The birthing process is a process where a mother is eagerly awaiting it. Labor pain is a physiological condition that causes discomfort due to the stimulation of certain nerve endings. Counterpressure massage is a non-pharmacological technique that can be applied to mothers giving birth, which can provide pleasant feelings and combat discomfort during contractions or between contractions during labor. This study aims to determine the effect of the counterpressure massage method on reducing pain in mothers in the first stage of birth. Research with a cross-sectional approach uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. On average, pain in laboring mothers decreased after a counterpressure massage was carried out. The results of the analysis showed that there was a difference in pain intensity before and after the intervention was given. Abstract

Banana is a type of plant that is abundant in Indonesia, but the utilization of waste peels has not been done optimally. The peel of the golden banana (Musa acuminata Colla) contains vitamin C. It is necessary to pay attention to the processing of the peel of the golden banana because vitamin C is easily oxidized by heat, light and metals. This study aims to determine the effect of banana peel filtrate and extract on vitamin C levels. This type of research is experimental. The independent variables were the filtrate and golden banana peel extract with the dependent variable namely the organoleptic levels of vitamin C in the filtrate and golden banana peel extract. The test was carried out qualitatively with Benedict's reagent, FeSO4 & NaOH and quantitatively using UV-Vis spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 265 nm. The results of measuring vitamin C levels were analyzed using SPSS with the Independent T-Test test. The qualitative test results showed that the filtrate and banana peel extract positively contained vitamin C. The level of vitamin C in the filtrate was 0.1538918% w/w (153.892 mg/100 g) while in the extract it was 0.1065812% w/w (106.581 mg/w 100g). Based on the results of analysis of mas banana peel filtrate and mas banana peel extract, it has an effect on Vitamin C levels with a p value <0.05
