Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an essential element of business strategies, including in the banking sector. Public Relations (PR) plays a crucial role in communicating CSR activities to the public and shaping positive perceptions. This research examines the approach of Public Relations at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in communicating its CSR programs and the impact of these strategies on forming a positive public perception. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing secondary data from literature, CSR reports, and media publications. The findings reveal that BSI’s transparent and accountable PR communication significantly enhances its public image. BSI effectively utilizes various communication channels, such as social media and mass media, to inform the public about the social impact of its CSR initiatives. The research concludes that a well-structured and responsive PR strategy plays a critical role in fostering trust and supporting the bank’s long-term social sustainability goals.Keywords: Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Positive Public Perception, Communication Strategy

Abstract

Analysis of Packaging Design by Increasing Sales Turnover in a Sharia Economic Perspective. This research aims to find out whether product packaging design can increase sales turnover and whether product packaging design can increase sales turnover from an Islamic economic perspective at the UTTON Store Jl. Jendral Sudirman District. Bone The type of research used in this research is field research because the researcher conducted research directly at the UTTON Outlet, Bone Regency. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The instruments in the research carried out in this research were interview sheets and documentation sheets. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions, and the validity of using member checking. The research results show that packaging design increases sales turnover at UTTON Outlets Jl. Jendral Sudirman District. Bone provides packaging that is futuristic in nature and has a contemporary feel, thus increasing customer or customer attraction in addition to the service and taste of the product itself. Islamic economic perspective in increasing sales turnover at the UTTON Outlet Jl. Jendral Sudirman District. Bone by applying the importance of benefit, fairness, simplicity, justice. By applying these principles, packaging design can reflect Islamic values in increasing sales turnover.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of trust and service quality on the loyalty of BSI Mobile Banking users, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study was conducted on IAIN Kudus students as active users of BSI Mobile. The associative quantitative method was used in this study, with data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS software. The results showed that trust had a significant effect on loyalty, while service quality did not have a significant effect. Customer satisfaction as an intervening variable also did not have a significant effect on user loyalty. This study provides new insights for the development of mobile banking applications based on trust and quality service in the context of Islamic banking.

Abstract

One of the socioeconomic problems that every region is responsible for is poverty. Poverty is a social problem that has existed for a long time and is difficult to eradicate until now. The majority of developing countries, including Indonesia, experience poverty. Poverty is influenced by low human resources, low natural resources, and low quality of education. This study uses secondary data, namely data provided by BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics). Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation, namely direct data collection from related agencies and some literature related to the problem to be studied and then recorded and processed. The results showed that partially the variable Open Unemployment Rate (X1) and Population Growth X2 did not have a significant effect on Poverty (Y) in Central Java in 2024. However, the HDI variable (X3) has a significant effect on Poverty (Y).

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, bermain game online dan melakukan top up sudah menjadi hal yang biasa, khususnya di kalangan Generasi Z. Fenomena ini tak hanya soal hiburan, tapi juga menyentuh aspek keuangan, terutama dari sudut pandang syariah. Penelitian ini mencoba melihat bagaimana pengalaman bermain dan adanya diskon bisa memengaruhi perilaku top up game online pada Generasi Z di Kabupaten Bone, serta apakah pola keuangan syariah punya peran dalam hubungan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari para pemain game online yang rutin melakukan top up. Hasilnya, baik pengalaman bermain maupun diskon terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku top up. Namun, pola keuangan syariah ternyata tidak berpengaruh langsung, dan juga tidak berperan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan antara pengalaman maupun diskon terhadap perilaku top up tersebut. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran atau penerapan prinsip-prinsip keuangan syariah dalam konteks konsumsi digital masih belum kuat di kalangan anak muda. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa jadi dasar untuk menyusun edukasi keuangan syariah yang lebih relevan dengan kehidupan digital generasi sekarang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principle of accountability in the management of village funds based on maqashid sharia in Pattallassang Village, Gowa Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study indicate that the management of village funds in Pattallassang Village has shown good implementation of the principles of transparency, accountability, and community participation. The application of the principle of maqashid sharia is also seen in programs that support religious activities, health, and community welfare. However, there are still challenges related to the understanding of village officials regarding the concept of maqashid sharia and limitations in preparing targeted programs. This study recommends increasing the capacity of village officials and multi-party collaboration to optimize the management of village funds and improve community welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the distortion of trader transaction behavior in the market, determine customer perceptions of the distortion of trader transaction behavior and to determine the sharia economic perspective on the distortion of trader behavior and customer perception in the traditional market of Apala District. Barebbo. This research is field research whose research approach is a qualitative approach. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal a positive picture regarding trader transaction behavior at the Apala market. There is no evidence of hoarding of goods which shows transparency in the supply of goods. However, there is still a tendency for unfair pricing, indicating the need for stricter market regulations. Other findings highlight a reduction in the quantity of goods and deficiencies in the quality of goods. However, the research results also illustrate that the relationship between traders and customers tends to be positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the market share of Islamic finance in Indonesia, the Ministry of BUMN merged three BUMN Islamic banks, BNI Syariah, BRI Syariah, and BRI Syariah. and the transformation of Bank Syariah Mandiri into Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) to expand the Islamic banking market, which is the driving force of Islamic finance in Indonesia. The qualitative approach in desk research emphasizes the collection of secondary data such as research results, books, news, magazines, journals, and other references. economic development that adheres to sharia principles in Indonesia. This study investigates how the merger of state-owned Islamic banks increased market share. The results show that increasing the market share of Islamic finance is the goal of the merger strategy in state-owned Islamic banks. One of the advantages of Indonesian sharia is as follows: (a) superior local and regional knowledge that can improve the efficiency of financial transactions; (b) large capital assets combined with diverse product innovations that result in high sharia-based funding, stable liabilities, and impressive profitability; and (c) professionalism and system-supported, technological sophistication, and robust service features that distinguish sharia transactions from others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of transparency and the use of information technology on the quality of financial reports, as well as the role of HR competency as a moderating variable. This study was conducted at the Zakat Management Organization in Makassar City. The study used a quantitative approach with a causal comparative method. Data were collected through questionnaires from 32 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test using the absolute difference value approach. The results of the study indicate that transparency and utilization of information technology have a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports, HR competency moderates the effect of transparency on the quality of financial reports, and HR competency does not moderate the effect between the utilization of information technology on the quality of financial reports. The implications of this study underline the importance of transparency and utilization of information technology in improving the quality of financial reports so that it can increase public trust in zakat management organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pattern of agricultural land rental that occurs in the community and examine its suitability with the principles of the ijarah contract from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a field study approach (Field Research). Data were obtained through observation, documentation and in-depth interviews with farmers or land tenants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the system used by land tenants is to use an annual rental pattern system, a seasonal intercropping system with the main commodity being rice. In practice, it generally uses verbal agreements based on trust. Among the villages studied, there are differences in price due to factors such as soil fertility quality and irrigation access. There are several factors that influence land rental, namely land conditions and water availability, social relations between owners and tenants and religious factors. Viewed from an Islamic perspective, this agricultural land rental pattern can generally be justified as long as it meets the pillars and requirements of the ijarah contract, such as clarity of the lease object, the contract is carried out with the consent of both parties, and the practice takes place in the context of mutual assistance and mutual respect for each other. However, there needs to be an increase in public understanding about the importance of transparency and clarity of rental contracts in order to avoid practices that lead to gharar (unclarity) and potential disputes in the future.
