Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum Officanarum L) is an annual plantation crop, which has its own characteristics, because it contains sugar in its stems. Sugarcane belongs to the grass family (graminae) like rice, reeds, corn, bamboo and others. One of the problems that exist in sugarcane plantations at PT Perkebunan Nusantara II is stem borer pests. Losses due to borer attacks can be in the form of a decrease in sugarcane weight, yield and quality of the sap obtained. pests on sugarcane plants cause a decrease in sugar production of about 10%. There are three types of stem borer pests found in PT Perkebunan Nusantara II, namely shoot borer pests, striped stem borer pests, and giant stem borer pests. Meanwhile, biological control is by spreading natural predators of pests which will suppress the population of widespread distribution and breeding of pests which are commonly called parasitoids. Parasitoids will become predators of their respective hosts, so appropriate diagnostic therapy for stem borer pests is needed so that the spread of stem borer pests does not become more widespread and the parasitoids to be spread operate effectively. By using the Certainty Factor method, you can find out the types of pests that are attacking sugarcane plants. Based on manual calculations, the dipole yield was 79% on one of the selected pest types based on the symptoms induced in the sugarcane plant.

Abstract

Diseases in pregnant women are diseases that many people need to pay attention to, because diseases that occur in pregnant women will not only endanger one life, but more than that. Hypertension currently occupies the 2nd position as a type of disease that threatens the lives of many pregnant women. The application of Case Based Reasoning (CBR) in diagnosing diseases that occur during pregnancy is motivated by the difficulty of consulting an obstetrician due to costs, time or even the limited number of doctors in a hospital. The use of CBR aims to solve new problems by adapting solutions to problems that occurred before. The expert system itself is one of the solutions to solve problems faced by users in the health sector, this system can minimize costs incurred to consult about diseases in pregnancy to specialist doctors. "Use of Case Base Reasoning (CBR) to Diagnose Diseases in Pregnancy" is expected to help the general public, especially pregnant women, make a simple diagnosis of symptoms and diseases in pregnancy.

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum Officanarum is an annual plantation crop, which has its own characteristics, because the stem contains sugar. To classify the results of sugarcane production, currently still using the manual method by only looking at the current conditions of sugarcane production. This is less efficient because there is no calculation process in grouping sugarcane. So that mistakes can occur in grouping sugarcane production to get good results or not in the assessment of sugarcane grouping at PTPN II Kwala Madu. For this reason, the author will create an alternative application system that can group sugarcane production with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to find out the best type of sugarcane production based on the factors. The application made by the author uses the PHP programming language and uses the MySQL database as data storage. The system is made as easy as possible to make it easier for users to use and understand later.

Abstract

The Binjai District Attorney's Office in carrying out its duties and functions, one of which handles general crimes, where so far the SPDP (Warranty to Commence Investigation) from the police that has entered the Binjai District Prosecutor's Office amounted to approximately 50 (fifty) cases each month. This amount consists of several types of general criminal cases. It is known that the types of general criminal cases amount to approximately 215 (two hundred and fifteen) types of cases, from this data, a method of classifying/clustering is needed from the types of cases that exist each month so that the data can be processed so as to produce the highest, moderate and highest scores. the lowest value of a type of case. The Binjai District Attorney's Office often receives requests for data from other ministries or agencies such as the BPS (Central Statistics Agency), the National Commission on Women and the National Commission on Children in the form of data recapitulation of crimes against women and children as perpetrators of crimes. The Binjai District Attorney's Office has a case handling system where the recapitulation cannot be taken directly but instead collects data manually, because the existing case handling system does not have the recapitulation as requested. The application of clustering has been carried out by many previous researchers. Among them, the K-Means Clustering Algorithm Analysis Mapping the Number of Crimes. The research was carried out using a data mining model in classifying illegal fishing with the K-Means algorithm analysis by determining the shortest distance using the eulclidean distance, more optimal than using the mahattan distance and chbchep distance in classifying student achievement, determining the centroid (central point) in the early stages of the algorithm K-Means is very influential on cluster results as the results of tests carried out using 267 records with different centroids produce different cluster results as well, a clustering model is obtained that can be used for illegal fishing in decision making for illegal fishing crimes high, medium, moderate .

Abstract

Palm oil is a very important commodity besides oil and gas which also has a fairly good export value. The palm oil produced must be supported by the quality standards set by SNI. The level of maturity when harvesting oil palm fruit greatly influences the quality of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production, which is crude palm oil that has a reddish color obtained from extraction or from the pressing process of oil palm fruit flesh. In fact, in the field of oil palm fruit harvest, there are still many oil palm fruit that are not ripe enough and can even be said to be still raw, entering the CPO production process. Determination of the maturity level of oil palm fruit is generally determined based on the amount of loose fruit and color, so handling the harvest of oil palm fruit is an important activity in improving the quality of CPO. It is necessary to build a system capable of managing and processing palm fruit images to measure the maturity level of the palm fruit to be produced. To obtain the right level of accuracy, this research uses the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method. LVQ is a method for conducting supervised competitive layer learning. From the results of trials conducted, it is proven that the system can measure very ripe oil palm fruit with HSV values (0.052209; 0.896021; 0.791114).
