Abstract

This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum in natural and social science learning for fourth grade students at SD N 02 Wonorejo. The focus in this study is to discuss the challenges faced by teachers while planning, implementing, and evaluating natural and social science lessons. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Sources of research data are teachers and fourth grade students and school principals. This research was carried out in semester two of the 2022/2023 school year. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity test using source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research concludes that there are challenges faced by teachers in the stages of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Teachers' challenges in natural and social science learning include obstacles in determining learning strategies and models, difficulties in reducing learning outcomes to learning objectives, not understanding the format in detail in making teaching modules, there are no student books yet, the use of learning media is not maximized, difficulties in linking science material with social, and techniques in carrying out the assessment have not been maximized. Thus, it becomes an evaluation that it is necessary to maximize learning by knowing the various challenges in implementing the independent curriculum in natural and social science learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar pada pembelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SD N 02 Wonorejo. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu membahas mengenai tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi oleh guru selama menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Sumber data penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa kelas IV serta kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester 2 tahun pembelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman dengan tahap-tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi guru pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tantangan guru pada pembelajaran IPAS antara lain terkendala dalam menentukan strategi dan model pembelajaran, kesulitan dalam menurunkan CP menjadi tujuan pembelajaran, belum paham format secara detail dalam membuat modul ajar, belum terdapat buku siswa, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran belum maksimal, kesulitan dalam mengaitkan materi IPA dengan IPS, dan teknik dalam melaksanakan asesmen belum maksimal. Dengan demikian, menjadi sebuah evaluasi bahwa perlu memaksimalkan pembelajaran dengan mengetahui berbagai tantangan dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka pada pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Mathematical dispositions play an important role in mathematics learning. Students who have a negative disposition will have an impact on their learning. Aspects of mathematical disposition consist of self-confidence, perseverance, learning with full responsibility, never giving up, and having an interest in challenging, reflective, and creative problems. Given the importance of the mathematical disposition aspect, it should be of particular concern in learning. This study aims to provide a description of the mathematical dispositions of students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN Banyuajuh 1. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research was conducted to obtain in-depth results. The researcher is the main instrument and is supported by several supporting instruments, such as a mathematical disposition questionnaire, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The findings in this study indicate that the condition of the high school students' mathematical dispositions is in a good category. This is indicated by several aspects of achievement, such as the implementation of mathematics and the positive level of student self-confidence. However, not all aspects of mathematical disposition can be achieved properly. Aspects of flexibility, monitoring ability, and student reflection abilities need to be improved. Not only that but teachers also need to pay attention to aspects of cultural appreciation and integration in mathematics. Students' mathematical dispositions are not only influenced by teacher factors but also by student factors. Learning environment factors also play an important role. So, this study provides implications and recommendations for mathematics learning activities that are oriented toward students' mathematical dispositions. Disposisi matematis memiliki peran penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Siswa yang memiliki disposisi negatif akan berdampak pada kegagalan belajar. Aspek disposisi matematis yang terdiri dari percaya diri, tekun, belajar dengan penuh tanggungjawab, pantang menyerah, memiliki ketertarikan terhadap soal yang menantang, reflektif dan kreatif. Mengingat pentingnya aspek disposisi matematis, seharusnya menjadi perhatian khusus dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi terhadap kondisi disposisi matematis siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 di SDN Banyuajuh 1. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus, penelitian ini dilakukan guna memperoleh hasil yang mendalam. Peneliti sebagai instrumen utama dan didukung beberapa instrumen pendukung seperti angket disposisi matematis, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan pedoman dokumentasi. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kondisi disposisi matematis siswa kelas tinggi dalam kategori baik. Hal ini terindikasi dari beberapa aspek capaian seperti implementasi matematika hingga tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa yang positif. Namun, tidak semua aspek disposisi matematis dapat terrcapai dengan baik. Aspek fleksibiltas, kemampuan monitoring dan kemampuan refleksi siswa perlu ditingkatkan. Bukan hanya itu, guru juga perlu memperhatikan aspek apresiasi dan integrasi budaya dalam matematika. Disposisi matematis siswa tidak dipengaruhi oleh faktor guru saja, melainkan faktor dari siswa, faktor lingkungan belajar juga berperan penting. Jadi, penelitian ini memberi implikasi dan rekomendasi pada kegiatan pembelajaran matematika yang berorientasi pada disposisi matematis siswa.

Abstract

The readiness of teachers to use technology plays a vital role, so the use of learning technology must be designed as well as possible. Some problems occur when teachers are still not ready to use technology, and the use of the internet or technology has not been implemented optimally by teachers. Teacher readiness in teaching also needs to be improved, especially regarding learning technology to design subject matter to make it more attractive to improve the quality of education, which is the main agenda in improving the quality of MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) to compete in the current era. global era. In addition, teachers must be more creative in learning and increase their readiness to utilize learning technology. However, not all schools can use technology due to limited infrastructure. The use of technology in schools will be optimal if equipped with adequate facilities so that students and teachers can access various learning resources. For this reason, this study aims to determine teacher readiness in using and utilizing learning technology to achieve learning goals in MI Pekat District, West Nusa Tenggara. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, processing data using qualitative methods systematically. technology The results of the study found that 1) there was teacher readiness in utilizing technology, but some teachers lacked knowledge about the use of technology, 2) the teacher's attitude towards the use of technology in learning was still not optimal, 3) lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that it is crucial to analyze the technological readiness of teachers in utilizing learning technology, investigate attitudes toward using technology in learning, and examine the actual conditions in schools in utilizing technology. If this is analyzed and observed, the weaknesses and strengths regarding technological readiness in schools will be known, which will be used as a reference for future improvements. Kesiapan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi memegang peranan penting, sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran memang harus dirancang sebaik mungkin. Namun, terdapat guru yang belum siap dalam menggunakan teknologi. Kesiapan guru dalam mengajar menggunakan teknologi perlu ditingkatkan untuk merancang materi pelajaran agar lebih menarik untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang menjadi agenda utama dalam meningkatkan mutu MI (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) untuk bersaing di era sekarang. Guru juga harus lebih kreatif dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kesiapannya dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua sekolah bisa menggunakan teknologi karena keterbatasan infrastruktur. Pemanfaatan teknologi di sekolah akan optimal jika dilengkapi dengan fasilitas yang memadai agar dapat digunakan untuk mengakses berbagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran di MI Kecamatan Pekat Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data diolah menggunakan metode kualitatif secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat kesiapan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, namun beberapa guru kurang memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai penggunaan teknologi yang belum optimal, kurangnya sarana yang mendukung. Jika menganalisis kesiapan teknologi, sikap guru, serta kondisi aktual, maka akan diketahui kekurangan dan kelebihan kesiapan teknologi di sekolah, sebagai acuan dalam perbaikan kedepannya.

Abstract

The ability to speak in front of a general audience or public speaking needs to be trained as early as possible. Public speaking will provide many benefits for someone to continue to achieve a better career in the future. The purpose of this research is to analyze how public speaking is practiced at MIM PK Wirogunan through the Islamic lecture and young preachers’ program that have been implemented since 2015/2016. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study research design. The number of respondents used was 7 people consisting of school principals, teachers in class IV A and B, and 2 students each in class A and B. The research data presented was in the form of descriptions accompanied by quotes from the results of interviews conducted with the respondents. This research took place using data collection techniques through three ways, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity test was carried out by means of technique and source triangulation. The results of the study show that the two programs implement the expected form of public speaking training, namely the fulfillment of public speaking components such as speakers, material recipients, material content, and feedback. Positive impacts were also received by students, namely having a more courageous mentality, self-confidence, and being able to think more critically. However, there are also a number of obstacles that have been encountered, but so far, they have been handled well through evaluation activities. Kemampuan berbicara di depan khalayak umum atau public speaking perlu dilatih sedini mungkin. Public speaking akan memberikan segudang manfaat untuk kelangsungan seseorang mencapai karier yang lebih baik di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana praktik public speaking di MIM PK Wirogunan melalui program kultum dan da’i cilik yang telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Jumlah responden yang digunakan berjumlah 7 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV A dan B, serta masing-masing 2 siswa kelas A dan B. Data penelitian yang disajikan berupa deskripsi yang disertai kutipan hasil wawancara bersama responden. Penelitian ini berlangsung menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua program tersebut mengimplementasikan bentuk pelatihan public speaking yang diharapkan, yakni hampir terpenuhinya komponen public speaking seperti adanya pembicara, penerima materi, isi materi, serta adanya feedback. Dampak positif juga diterima siswa yakni memiliki mental lebih berani, percaya diri, serta mampu berpikir lebih kritis. Akan tetapi terdapat pula beberapa kendala yang turut ditemui, namun sejauh ini dapat diatasi dengan baik melalui kegiatan evaluasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: 1) determine the average pretest score students before using the audio-visual-based problem-based learning model, 2) knowing the average posttest of students after using the audio-visual-based problem-based learning model, 3) knowing the effect of audio-visual-based problem-based learning on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students in subjects Science at MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya. This study used a quantitative research approach and the type of research used was Pre-Experimental research . The design used by the researcher is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with one class as the research subject. The data analysis technique in this study was the normality test and the one sample test using the one sample test method with the help of SPSS. The results of the study: 1) the average critical thinking ability of students before using the audio-visual-based problem-based learning model is 57.50. 2) the average critical thinking ability of students after using the audio-visual-based problem-based learning model is 88.43. 3) the results of the one sample T-test data analysis using the one sample T technique show a significance value of <0.05, which is 0.000. The conclusion of this research is that learning using problem-based learning based on audio-visual models can improve elementary students' critical thinking skills. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui rata-rata nilai pretest siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual, 2) mengetahui rata-rata nilai posttest siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual, 3) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD pada mata pelajaran IPA di MI Muhammadiyah 5 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Pre-Experimental. Desain yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan satu kelas sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas dan uji beda menggunakan metode one sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian: 1) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual adalah 57,50. 2) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual adalah 88,43. 3) hasil analisis data uji-t satu sampel dengan menggunakan teknik one sample T-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbasis audio visual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD.

Abstract

The efforts to develop self direction skills are not only driven by learning program implemented by school. This study aims to determine the effect of authoritative parenting on self direction skills in primary school students. This study used the ex post facto method with a correlation research design. The sample technique is purposive sampling through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Therefore, the importance of the role of parents through the application of proper parenting, so that students can develop self direction skills. The total of samples in this study were 50 parents and 25 children. The selection of this sample is based on the results of observations and interviews that refer to parents who apply authoritative parenting and children who are given this treatment. The data analysis techniques use validity test on parenting experts, reliability test, normaility test, linearity test, correlation test, regression test and termination test. The results of the study obtained a Sig value of 0,000 < 0,05 and the coefficient of determination test obtained a value of 0,900. This is consistent with the purpose of this study, that there is a positive influence between authoritative parenting on self direction skills by 90%. Upaya pengembangan keterampilan self direction tidak hanya didorong oleh program pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh sekolah. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya peran orang tua melalui penerapan pola asuh yang tepat, agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan keterampilan self direction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh authoritative parenting terhadap keterampilan self direction pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan desain penelitian korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel purpossive sampling melalui observasi, wawancara dan angket. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 50 orang tua dan 25 anak. Pemilihan sampel ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi dan wawancara yang merujuk pada orang tua yang menerapkan pola asuh authoritative parenting serta anak yang di beri perlakuan tersebut. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji validitas kepada ahli parenting, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji korelasi, uji regresi dan uji determinasi. Hasil penelitian memperoleh nilai Sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan uji koefisien determinasi memperoleh nilai 0,900. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara pola asuh authoritative parenting terhadap keterampilan self direction sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is carried out consciously to hurt others mentally and physically. Bullying behavior is also often done by students at school, including fourth grade students at SDN Tunggulsari 1. Therefore, the teacher’s role is needed in overcoming and reducing bullying. This research was conducted to find out the forms of bullying behavior, the teacher's role in dealing with bullying behavior, and the obstacles experienced by the teacher during the process. The research conducted is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach model. The informants in this study were school principals, fourth grade teachers, bullies and victims of bullying. This study uses the data analysis technique of the Miles & Huberman model which is carried out in three stages including data reduction, analysis and presentation of data, drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques with direct field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Teachers and schools have handled student bullying behavior quite well. The results of the study show that teachers play a significant role in dealing with bullying in the classroom. Several ways are carried out to overcome and reduce bullying behavior. The role of the teacher in preventing bullying is carried out in several ways including socializing bullying to students, being assertive about deviant actions, instilling harmony and respect for others, forming study groups, instilling religious values, and establishing harmonious relations with students. Then the teacher's role in overcoming bullying was found as gathering information, reconciling students, providing counseling, providing emotional support, and taking follow-up actions. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the development of appropriate and effective bullying prevention efforts by various parties, especially teachers in schools. Perilaku bullying merupakan suatu tindakan yang dilakukan secara sadar untuk menyakiti orang lain secara mental maupun fisik. Perilaku bullying juga masih sering dilakukan para siswa di sekolah, termasuk siswa kelas 4 di SDN Tunggulsari 1. Oleh karenanya, peran guru sangatlah diperlukan dalam mengatasi dan mengurangi adanya tindakan bullying. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying, peran guru dalam menangani perilaku bullying, dan hambatan yang dialami guru selama prosesnya. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model pendekatan studi kasus. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas empat, pelaku bullying dan korban bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data model Miles & Huberman yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap meliputi reduksi data, analisis dan penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi lapangan secara langsung, wawancara secara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Guru dan sekolah telah melakukan penanganan terhadap perilaku bullying siswa dengan cukup baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan besar dalam menangani adanya tindakan bullying di kelas. Berbagai cara dilakukan untuk dapat mengatasi dan mengurangi perilaku bullying yang terjadi. Peran guru dalam pencegahan bullying dilakukan dengan berbagai cara meliputi sosialisasi bullying kepada para siswa, bersikap tegas terhadap tindakan menyimpang, menanamkan sikap rukun dan menghargai sesama, membentuk kelompok belajar, menenamkan nilai religious, serta menjalin hubungan harmonis dengan siswa. Kemudian peran guru dalam mengatasi bullying yang ditemukan seperti mengumpulkan informasi, mendamaikan siswa, memberikan konseling, memberikan dukungan emosional, dan melakukan tindakan lanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan pengembangan upaya pencegahan bullying yang tepat dan efektif oleh berbagai pihak khususnya guru di sekolah.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of mastery of freestyle swimming technique skills for elementary school beginner swimmers that are not in accordance with the correct technique at the Arhesa Swimming Club. The purpose of this study was to improve mastery of the freestyle swimming technique using the part method for elementary school students. The method used in this study was experimental, using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were elementary school students at the Arhesa Swimming Club, namely 10 people. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling, with a sample of 10 elementary school students. The research instrument used the Freestyle Swimming Skills Assessment Test. Data analysis tested the mean and standard deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing, namely the Paired Sample Test using SPSS 25. Based on the results of the analysis t count is less than t table (11.00 < 1.83) then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an increase in the initial test towards the final test of freestyle swimming technique mastery, with this it can be concluded that the Part Method can improve technique mastery freestyle swimming in elementary school students. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penguasaan keterampilan teknik renang gaya bebas perenang pemula sekolah dasar yang tidak sesuai dengan teknik yang benar di Arhesa Swimming Club. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan penguasaan teknik renang gaya bebas menggunakan part method pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan menggunakan quasi-experimental design dalam bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar yang ada di Arhesa Swimming Club, yaitu 10 orang. Teknik Sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Total Sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 10 siswa sekolah dasar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Tes Penilaian Keterampilan Renang Gaya Bebas. Analisis data menguji rata-rata dan simpangan baku, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis yaitu Paired Sample Test menggunakan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil analisis t hitung kurang dari t tabel (11,00 < 1,83) maka Ho ditolak, artinya ada peningkatan tes awal terhadap tes akhir penguasaan teknik renang gaya bebas, dengan ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya Part Method dapat meningkatkan penguasaan teknik renang gaya bebas pada siswa sekolah dasar.
