Abstract

Samarinda woven sarong is typical sarong of Samarinda. This sarong is still using silk spun silk raw material imported from Tiongkok. The development of aquaculture is needed to obtain local silk threads in order to help to reduce production costs in the samarinda silk industry. The high quality mulberry plants are needed to support silkworm cultivation (sericulture). The qualified mulberry plants are obtained by in vitro culture techniques. The objective of this study is to obtain mulberry leaf (Morus Sp) free from disease, uniform, and to obtain quality silk threads through sericulture techniques with feeds that were propagated in vitro. The research stages consist of sterilization, Murashige and Skoog (MS) media, sub culture, observation of data analysis fund. The design used is Completely Randomized Design with single factor, ie BAP concentration (control, 0.5 mg / l, 1 mg / l and 2 mg / l). Each treatment is repeated 8 times. The results showed that administration of ZPT 2 mg / l at age 4 MST gives the best response for all observed variables. The use of ZPT BAP with various concentrations produces the germination rate, shoot height, number of shoots and number of different leaves. All treatments are unsuccessful in inducing roots. Keywords: in vitro; Murbei; SericultureSarung tenun samarinda adalah sarung khas kota Samarinda. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the composition of weed vegetation in Acacia mangium plants and to see differences in the composition of weed vegetation in several age classes of Acacia mangium plants in industrial plantations (HTI). This research was conducted in June to August 2018 in the industrial plantation of PT. Bukit Raya Mudisa (BRM) main road Km 13.7, Jorong Lubuk Mansagu, Kenagarian Koto Nan IV Di Bawah, Sub-district IX Koto, Regency Dharmasraya, Province of West Sumatra. The method used in this research is survey method by laying out the plot by purposive sampling in A. mangium gardens that are 2, 3 and 4 years old. At each age of the plant 2 observation plots were made measuring 40m × 40m in the plot. There were observational sub-plots measuring 1m ×1m in 10 plots of observation on a diagonal line with a total of 60 plots of observation. Based on the results of the analysis, there were 15 species belonging to 10 families. The number of weed species found in class 2, 3 and 4 respectively were 11, 9 and 11 species. The family of weeds that have the most species is the family Poaceae. Weeds are dominant under A. mangim plantations age 2, namely A. gangetica (38.26%), P. crinitum (14.81%) and I. cylindica (14.37%), almost the same as weeds under A.mangium plantations age 3 years namely A. gangetica (31.54%), A. compressus (20.49%), A.sessilis (19.50%), and P. crinitum (14.41%). The dominant age of 4 years weeds are A.gangetica (43.11%), A. sessilis (15.50%), and P. crinitum (15.36%). Weeds that dominate the A.mangium plantations are included in the group of broad-leaved weeds, so weed control is recommended in A. mangium plantations against broadleaf weeds.

Abstract

The livelihoods of residents in the village Malaris not much different from other Dayak people, who live on the banks of the mountains Meratus. The most important livelihood in Kampung Malaris this is rice farming. Before they begin to plant the provisions of their own which they believe. Before they grow they see signs of nature such as the shift of the sun and moon. They believe that when the sun to the west and the months leading up to the east and happen letter cross (x) they are unable to plant because it signifies that season it was the dry season and the growing season is also determined by the wind as when the wind towards the south it still can not be membanih, when the wind heading east also could not grow because it crossed the line except when the wind plant leading to a new west they could plant.

Abstract

Gempol (Nauclea orientalis L.) is one of the fast growing species that potential to be developed in agroforestry system. These species used as wood production and also Jabon, which is the alternative for sengon wood. Gempol adapted growth at wet and drylands such as at riverbanks, rice fields and yards. The constrained of the development of community forests of gempol for high productivity is the availability of good quality seed sources. Seeds and seedlings are largely determined by the quality of the parent tree, hence the diversity of the mother plant will affect the seeds it produces. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of the growth of seedlings in the nursery gempol of 64 parent trees from Majalengka and Banten. The study design used was completely randomized design consisting of 64 trees parent gempol, with three replications and each replication consisted of six seedlings. The variables measured were the diameter and height of seedlings. The results showed that significantly affected the parent tree diameter and height of seedlings gempol. Growth in diameter is the best demonstrated by the parent tree 16 at 5.4 cm. The high growth (32.88 cm) produced by seeds from the parent tree 10.Gempol (Nauclea orientalis L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman cepat tumbuh yang potensialuntuk dikembangkan dengan pola agroforestry..
