Abstract

CV XYZ is a company engaged in the production of fashion. The problem that occurs in CV XYZ is that there are still several cases of work accidents caused by the attitude of workers, the work environment and the tools used during the production process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential hazards and the causes of potential hazards, the risk of injury and even work accidents and provide suggestions for improvements to reduce the risk of work accidents so that control and prevention of hazards that arise in the work area can be carried out. The methods used in this research are Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) is a hazard identification approach in working environment conditions, existing facilities, equipment operation and overall production. Hazop looks for possible causes of accidents and determines the consequences of deviations that occur when a job is done. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is the identification of hazards by taking into account unsafe act and unsafe conditions. This hazard identification method is carried out by studying a job to identify hazards and potential incidents associated with each step and used to find solutions and control existing hazards. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the sources of hazards that exist or have the potential for work accidents are the attitudes of workers and the physical work environment and it is known that there are 30 identified hazards from 16 routine activities and 7 of them have the highest risk of intensity in causing hazards in the work area.

Abstract

Labi-labi is a type of soft shell turtle that lives in fresh water. Labi-Labi is also a semi-aquatic animal that often spends its life in the waters. The population of turtles in the wild is widely used by the community for sale or consumption. Therefore, over time, people made conservation efforts to prevent the extinction of the turtles. One of the turtle conservation is the Tawun Ngawi Tourism Park. This tourist park is one of the conservation of the turtles and also the artificial habitat of the turtles. As a place for the conservation of turtles, of course the Tawun Tourism Park must be in accordance with the natural habitat of the turtles. The existence of this study aims to determine the characteristics and suitability level of the artificial habitat in the Tawun Tourism Park area. Then the method of conducting this research was carried out by direct observation by measuring the existing biotic and abiotic parameters and analyzed according to the suitability of their natural habitat. So that the result is that the artificial habitat in the Tawun Ngawi Tourism Park has characteristics that are in accordance with the natural habitat of the turtles. Then the hope for further research needs to be explored further regarding the habitat characteristics of the labi-labi in the wild.

Abstract

Several studies from Indonesia reveal that malnutrition and stunting are still severe concerns to be addressed in the future. The complexity of the problem of stunting or nutritional status requires the responsibility of all parties, including science and technology. The issue of monitoring and data collection related to stunting or the nutritional status of children in Indonesia, especially Medan City, North Sumatra Province, is an essential factor in determining the calculations carried out by each Community Health Center with many attributes. Currently, the Support Vector Machine method is a solution to increase government intervention's effectiveness in classifying malnutrition and stunting. However, the Support Vector Machine algorithm still needs to improve, namely the difficulty of selecting the right and optimal features for the attribute weights, causing a low prediction accuracy. Therefore, researchers aim to optimize the Support Vector Machine Algorithm with Particle Swarm Optimization using Linear, Polynomial, Sigmoid, and Radial Basic Function kernels. The results were obtained from research utilizing nutritional status data, that performance in improving the Support Vector Machine algorithm based on Particle Swarm Optimization using four kernel tests, namely Linear, Polynomial, Sigmoid, and Radial Basic Function obtained different results, not all kernels in this study can improve accuracy well. The best performance is using the Radial Basic Function kernel with an Accuracy value of 78%, Precision of 89%, Recall of 66%, and F1-Score of 72%, so it is feasible for accurate information regarding the classification of nutritional status.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the causal relationship between the exchange rate and export value in Indonesia using time series data from 1997 to 2020. The analytical method that will be used in this research is the Granger Causality Test approach. The instruments used are the data normality test, the stationary test, the optimal lag test, and the Granger causality test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that from the output of the cointegration test in table 4.3 above, the trace statistic is 9.016078, which is smaller than the critical value (5%), which is 15.49471, and Prob. 0.3639 is less than 5 percent, whereas for the output of the Granger causality test above, at lag 1, it is known that the probability value (Prob.) of the relationship between export value and exchange rate is 0.4953; this result is greater than the significance level of 5 percent, so that from the output of the From these results, it can be concluded that there is no causal relationship between export values and exchange rates. So it can be concluded that if the exchange rate depreciates against foreign currencies, the export value will increase because Indonesia's export commodities compete in international markets, but on the contrary, it will reduce. In addition, based on observations and causality analysis from the results of data processing, it shows that there has been a one-way relationship between the exchange rate and the export value, meaning that the exchange rate will affect the export value but will, on the contrary, affect the export value. According to the results of the Granger Causality Test, the export value has no effect on the exchange rate.

Abstract

Candidiasis is an acute and subacute fungal infection caused by the Candida group, especially Candida albicans. Infectious diseases due to microbes can be treated using modern drugs, namely antifungals. In some cases, antimicrobials often develop resistance due to improper administration. The occurrence of such resistance encourages further research on new active ingredients that can be used as antimicrobial alternatives, especially from plant sources containing flavonoids. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of antimicrobial content of ethanol extract 70% of Telang flowers on the growth of C. albicans. This research is a laboratory experimental research with post test control group design only method. Determination of antimicrobial activity is carried out by the pitting method. Telang flower extract that has been diluted with 10% DMSO, taken as much as 30µl then dripped into the well. Positive control using antimicrobial ketocenazole and negative control using DMSO 10% which was dripped on the well as much as 30µl. Based on the results of observations, the inhibition zone is only formed in positive control with an average of 15.5 + 0.4 mm. The results of ethanol extract of 70% Telang flowers that have been conducted did not show antimicrobial activity against fungal growth C. albicans. The absence of this inhibitory zone is due to the unknown concentration of active compounds of Telang flowers that are responsible as antimicrobials, so it is necessary to conduct research on the search for concentrations of active compounds that have the ability as antimicrobials.
