Abstract

Sea urchins are marine invertebrates that are grouped in the Echinoidea class and Echinodermataphylum. Mawasangka is a district that has a large coastal area with a fairly good seagrass and coral reef ecosystem that plays an important role in the life cycle process of marine organisms, for instant as a habitat and food source for sea urchins. However, until now, information about the diversity of sea urchins in the coastal areas in Mawasangka District has not been reported. Thus, this research is very important. This research began with a location survey, field observation, and sampling. Supporting data such as temperature, pH, brightness, depth and salinity were also measured. The results showed that the number of species in 3 research locations in the coastal area of Mawasangka District was 5 species, consisting of 3 species from the genus Diadema, namely Diadema cytosum, Diadema antillarium, and Diadema savignyi, and 2 species from the Echinotrix genus, namely Echinothrix calamaris and Echinothrix diadema. The highest number of species diversity was found on the Pasi Kobungi beach. This happened because the habitat and environmental conditions at Pasi Kobungi Beach were very compatible for 5 species found. The species with the greatest abundance was sea urchins from the species of Diadema cytosum. It was found out that the coral reef substrate and seagrass in three research locations were important habitats for the growth of Diadema setosum and were easy to adapt to the environment. Due to the abundance of sea urchins from the Diadema cytosum species as well as many benefits of it for the environment, it can be concluded that the condition of the coastal area of Mawasangka District is still classified as healthy and well preserved.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study to know the effectiveness of the control system for pH, temperature, and turbidity of aquarium water in ornamental fish cultivation. The method used is by assembling an automation tool for controlling the pH, temperature, and turbidity of the aquarium water based on a microcontroller, which is then compared with an aquarium without a control system. This tool is designed using the Arduino Uno as a system controller, the pH sensor E-201-C as a measuring tool for pH levels with a solenoid valve to drain pH up and pH down as a stabilizer for water pH levels, the DS18B20 sensor as a temperature measurement tool by utilizing a heater and DC fan as a water temperature stabilizer, and the turbidity sensor as a turbidity measurement tool with a clean water replacement system as a water turbidity stabilizer. Based on the experiments carried out, it was found that there were significant differences between aquariums using a control system automation tool compared to aquariums without a control system tool. This means that the system that is made is effective and proven to be able to maintain the environmental conditions of ornamental fish with measurement results of pH ranging from 7–7.5, the temperature of 24°–27°C, and water turbidity of 10 NTU.

Abstract

A mathematical statement is not a theorem until it has been carefully derived from previously proven axioms, definitions and theorems. The proof of a theorem is a logical argument that is given deductively and is often interpreted as a justification for statements as well as a fundamental part of the mathematical thinking process. Studying the proof can help decide if and why our answers are logical, develop the habit of arguing, and make investigating an integral part of any problem solving. However, not a few students have difficulty learning it. So it is necessary to explore the student's thought process in proving a statement through questions, answer sheets, and interviews. The ability to prove is explored through 4 (four) proof schemes, namely Scheme of Complete Proof, Scheme of Incomplete Proof, Scheme of unrelated proof, and Scheme of Proof is immature. The results obtained indicate that the ability to prove is influenced by understanding and the ability to see that new theorems are built on previous definitions, properties and theorems; and how to present proof and how students engage with proof. Suggestions in this research are to change the way proof is presented, and to change the way students are involved in proof; improve understanding through routine proving new mathematical statements; and developing course designs that can turn proving activities into routine activities.

Abstract

In this research has been developed the application of flat coil as vibration sensor for early detection of earthquake. The flat coil is a very thin wire winding and acts as an inductor. This flat coil along with the capacitor constructs an oscillator which generates frequencies depending on the value of inductance and capacitance. This oscillator is called the LC oscillator. The flat coil inductance depends on the distance of the metal object in front of the flat coil. If the inductance changes, the frequency will change as well. Frequency can be converted into voltage form to represent distance. This effect is then applied to low frequencies using a pendulum on the sensor housing. The sensor system created can measure low-frequency vibrations in the range 0.26 - 1.0 Hz. Based on the research, the vibration sensor that has been made can measure one of the low frequency vibrations of 0.468 Hz at the frequency of 0.46 Hz vibration source

Abstract

The National Health Insurance Program or Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) managed by the Health Social Security Administration Agency or Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) has entered its eighth year of implementation. Since 2014, PT Askes (Persero) has transformed into BPJS Kesehatan, this also has an impact on changes in the payment system from Retrospective Payment System to Prospective Payment System with INA-CBG (Indonesian-Case Based Groups) rates. The difference between INA-CBG rates and hospital real rates is a fundamental problem, so hospitals must make efforts to achieve quality control and cost control. The real rate is the rate used by the hospital based on service of each service according to local regulations. Meanwhile, INA-CBG is a case-based health financing package by grouping various types of services into one unit. There is a difference between the INA-CBG rates and the hospital's real rates for paying JKN claims for Advanced Inpatient (RITL) and Advanced Outpatient (RJTL) services as a whole. This study is a descriptive-analytic quantitative research. The data used is secondary data obtained from the list of hospital JKN claims on the BPJS Kesehatan Claims Digital Verification application. The results of the study indicate that there is a negative difference between the total INA-CBG rate and the total hospital real rate for inpatient services of Rp. -25,654,787,895 or -36% of the INA-CBG rate. In outpatient services there is a negative difference of Rp. -6,144,370,328,- or -13% of the INA-CBG rate. Based on these findings, we recommend that hospitals should conduct a utilization review of health services, as well as calculate the appropriate unit cost for each type of service. The hospital carries out quality control of services by paying attention to the diagnosis and action and treatment provided, so that there are no unnecessary services.
