The availability of science learning instructional that integrate between the science, society and technology is still very limited so that it needs to be developed science-learning instructional with science, society and technology oriented. This learning instructional development aims to develop science learning instructional with science, technology and society approach oriented to improve students' cognitive abilities. Learning instructional that have been developed in trials in class VIIb with a number of 30 students at State Yunior High School 2 Sepulu Madura through One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Instructional development uses the Kemp development model. The results showed that RPP validation, student textbooks, Student Worksheets, and category rating sheets were feasible with validity of instrument reliability of RPP 91%; Student book 90%; Student Worksheet 92%. The highest teacher activity is to guide the experiment by 22% at meeting one (P1) and at the second meeting (P2) 24%. Highest student activity is Observing with 22% (P1) and 24% (P2). Lesson learned on (P1 and P2) is implemented (92%) and (75%). Student responses to the instructional and learning are good categorized or students respond positively. Cognitive abilities seen from the completeness of Pretest learning indicators averaged <60 categorized incomplete, Postest average ≥ 60 categorized complete, individual completeness on average Pretest <60 categories incomplete, Postest average ≥ 65 category of completeness, and mastery classically on Pretest <75 is categorized incomplete, whereas in Postest ≥ 75 is complete. The conclusion of the research shows that the approach of Science, Techonology, and Society on damage and environmental pollution subject material in State Junior High School 2 Sepulu can improve students' cognitive abilities and learning instructional used in this research categorized as valid and reliable.

Heat is energy transferred between a system and its surroundings due to the temperature difference that exists between them. Phase changes of coconut oil can be seen at temperatures between 20°C–100°C. To calculate the incoming heat using the equation Q = m.c.ΔT. Where Q in the experiment is calculated by the equation Q = V.I.t. So to calculate the specific heat of heat (c) = Q/(m.ΔT). The heat capacity is obtained from the equation C = m.c. The method in this practicum is used heater with AC current. The heater used has a voltage of 220 Volts, with a power of 350 Volts. Because the heating voltage is too large, a variable ac (variac) is used to lower the voltage. The voltage used is 20 volts. The material used is coconut oil which is labeled "Barco". The heater directly interacts with the oil. So that the oil can be directly heated homogeneously. Then it is bounded by adiabatic walls. The temperature in this study was controlled, ranging from 150C-500C. the heat of fusion of coconut oil at 28°C. After that, the liquid phase is above 28 °C to 63 °C. This is in accordance with the oil label which states that the melting temperature (melting) is around 26 °C. This difference is due to a leak or air entering the adiabatic wall.

This study aims to determine the ability of communication mathematics students in grade VIII SMP IT Suhadah Yogyakarta through cooperative learning type Number Head Together (NHT). This study is a classroom action research. The instrument used to collect data is a test instrument. The results of the research for the students' communication ability aspects improved from cycle I of cycle II for each aspect: the first aspect is illustrating mathematical ideas from 30% to 47%, an increase of 17%. The second aspect describes the answer and the use of symbols from 20% to 40.5%. The increase is as much as 20.5%. The total achievement for cycle II is 85.7%, which in this case has reached the criteria 85.7%> 85%. We conclude that NHT learning has been effective for students' mathematical communication skills on straight-line equations. In addition, for teacher and student activity, in the first cycle only active categories have increased

Shallots (Allium ascalanicum L.) is a vegetable commodity that has high economic value. The productivity of shallots in NTB is still relatively low because the level of soil fertility is still decreasing. One of the efforts to increase the productivity of shallots can be done through the addition of soil fertility enhancers by providing biochar and fertilization efficiency. This study aims to determine the effect of biochar, nitrogen fertilizer and interactions on the growth and yield of shallots. The experiment has been carried out since May –August 2021 at the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. The experiment was designed using a factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors, namely the dose of Biochar (4 levels) B0: 0 tons/ha without Biochar, B1: 10 tons/ha, B2: 20 tons/ha, B3: 30 tons/ha and the dose Nitrogen (5 levels) N0: 0 kg/ha without Nitrogen, N1: 200 kg/ha, N2: 400 kg/ha, N3: 600 kg/ha, N4: 800 kg/ha. The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of biochar and nitrogen on growth (plant height, number of leaves and number of cloves) and yield (wet weight and dry weight), where doses of biochar 30 tons/ha and nitrogen 800 kg/ha gave growth and yields. and produces the highest nitrogen uptake efficiency.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the conflict cognitive strategies on students' cognitive learning achievements. This research is an experimental study using one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 35 students of class X MIPA 7 at SMAN 2 Mataram. The conflict cognitive strategies are conditioned in research on the subject matter of Regular Straight Motion and Regular Changed Straight Motion. Measurement of cognitive learning outcomes using test instruments and given to students as pretest and posttest. The test instrument was previously validated by 2 (two) validators on the content and construct aspects. The validation results show that the test instrument has been declared valid on the content and construct aspects with a validity (Va) level of 4.12 and 4.00. The results showed that students' cognitive learning achievements improved after learning using the conflict cognitive strategies (mean of 3.49) significant (p <0.05). These results are also supported by the results of n-gain analysis of cognitive learning achievements of students after learning with a value of 0.74 with a high category so that it is declared effective to improve students' cognitive learning achievements.

The learning model is one way that can increase student creativity. The study aimed to describe and explain the validity of the Integrated Twin Tower (ITT) based Learn To Talk (LTT) learning model. The research method uses Educational Design Research (EDR) to develop a new product. The ITT-based LTT model was developed in order to increase students' creativity. In addition, as follow-up research from the recommendations of previous researchers. The development of this model will be used as teaching material in the classroom. Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) is based on the development of ITT-based LTT learning by following John Deway's line of thought. The results of the content validity of the learning model product, which include needs, novelty, theory, planning, and implementation, get an average value of 3.80; 4.00; 4.00; 4.00; and 3.50 with a very valid category. The results of construct validity, the results were obtained with valid categories for all of them. In that way, the ITT-based LTT learning model can be alternative learning to improve students' scientific creative thinking skills.

[Title: The Effect of Open-Ended Problems on Mathematics Problem toward Students' Ability in Solving Linear Program Problems]. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the provision of linear program mathematical problems in the form of open-ended problems can affect students' problem-solving abilities. This research is an experiment with one sample group, 28 students of class XI IPA-2 in SMA Negeri 7 Mataram. Data was collected through tests and interviews that were statistically analyzed both descriptive and inferential. The validity of mathematical problems is based on expert judgment while the reliability is tested using product-moment correlation. Pre-test and post-test data have been tested both homogeneous and normally distributed. The homogeneity test uses the F-test statistics and the normality test uses the interpretation of skewness and kurtosis. The influence test is performed using one-party t-test statistics. Student problem-solving performance was assessed using a holistic rubric. All data is processed using data analysis tools on Microsoft Excel. This experiment showed success by obtaining an average test score of students when the pre-test was 39.58 which then increased when the post-test became 79.76. This increase was statistically significant as evidenced by the one-party t-test where tcount = 37.33> ttable = 1.67 at α = 0.05, which means that Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the treatment given a mathematical problem in the form of open-ended problems to the ability of students to solve linear program problems.

This research aims to describe the feasibility of Web-FIST media in terms of validity and effectiveness. the use of Web-FIST to practice students' critical thinking on the topic of parabolic motion. This study uses a research design model of Hannafin & Peck. The data collection technique used was the validity instrument, the pretest-posttest in the form of an essay, and the response questionnaire with the subject of 13 students of class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Senior High School in Tuban. The validity is reviewed based on the suitability of the following aspects:1) the web system, 2) the correctness of the content of the material, 3) the STEM approach, 4) critical thinking characteristics, 5) the material with the nature of physics, and 6) competency standards. While the effectiveness in terms of the results of critical thinking observations and student responses. Media validation was carried out by two media experts. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the results of the Web-FIST validity are 92.83% with a very valid classification (92.83%). The results of the effectiveness of using Web-FIST obtained an N-Gain of 0.6 with a moderate classification, while from the assessment of student responses an average value of 86% was obtained with a very effective classification. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the developed Web-FIST is suitable for use in the learning process and can train students' critical thinking about parabolic motion.

The climate problem today caused damage to infrastructures and many other living elements among mankind. As the prospected future leaders, students need to understand and to respond the effects of climate change. A person with climate literacy may enhance their ability and capacity to face climate challenges in the future. Climate literacy is the understanding of the influence of self and society on the climate. This research is conducted to give a general picture of climate literacy among high school students in Surabaya and each indicator in climate competency aspects. The methodology used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research instrument used in this research is a climate literacy test. The valuation of climate literacy capacity of the students being done by giving scores manually from the test answers according to the scoring guideline in the scoring rubric and achievement results with categories as very high, high, moderate, low, and very low. The research samples are 107 high school students at level XI in SMAN 22 Surabaya (Public High School 22 Surabaya). According to the research, the students’ indicator in scientific identifying is low with a score percentage of 48.9%. The students’ indicator in explaining the scientific phenomenon is moderate with a score of 74.5%, while students’ indicator score in using scientific evidence is moderate with 68.6%. It could be said that high school students in SMAN 22 Surabaya as a whole have a moderate climate literacy capacity with a percentage score of 64%.

The use of instructional media is essential for understanding Biology. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of animation media on learning outcomes. The study was conducted with quasi-experimental and non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group designs. Data were taken from the pre-test, post-test and gain scores. The research instrument is a written test in the form of multiple choice questions. Data were analyzed using 'mean difference test'. The results showed that the results of the study on sub photosynthesis and respiration material differed significantly. The gain analysis shows that the animation media has improved student learning outcomes.
