Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a condition of reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus which can cause typical symptoms such as heartburn (burning in the epigastric region), acid regurgitation (bitter taste in the mouth), nausea, and dysphagia which can result in damage to the esophageal mucosa and in the long term can cause complications such as Barrett's esophagus. Based on data on patients with GERD disease in 2020-2023, there were 521 patients obtained at Bidadari Binjai General Hospital, with differences in prevalence caused by socioeconomic and lifestyle changes that can increase the incidence of GERD. The purpose of this study is to obtain the results of the combination between item-sets on the behavior patterns and lifestyles of GERD sufferers which are expected to help the agency in processing data on GERD sufferers into more effective information to determine the behavior patterns and lifestyles of GERD sufferers with the Apriori Algorithm method. From the research conducted, the results obtained rules that meet the value of 30% support and 100% confidence, if unhealthy eating patterns are often late eating, then unhealthy lifestyles are often done sleeping after eating and smoking.

Abstract: Sugarcane (Saccharum Officanarum L) is an annual plantation crop, which has its own characteristics, because it contains sugar in its stems. Sugarcane belongs to the grass family (graminae) like rice, reeds, corn, bamboo and others. One of the problems that exist in sugarcane plantations at PT Perkebunan Nusantara II is stem borer pests. Losses due to borer attacks can be in the form of a decrease in sugarcane weight, yield and quality of the sap obtained. pests on sugarcane plants cause a decrease in sugar production of about 10%. There are three types of stem borer pests found in PT Perkebunan Nusantara II, namely shoot borer pests, striped stem borer pests, and giant stem borer pests. Meanwhile, biological control is by spreading natural predators of pests which will suppress the population of widespread distribution and breeding of pests which are commonly called parasitoids. Parasitoids will become predators of their respective hosts, so appropriate diagnostic therapy for stem borer pests is needed so that the spread of stem borer pests does not become more widespread and the parasitoids to be spread operate effectively. By using the Certainty Factor method, you can find out the types of pests that are attacking sugarcane plants. Based on manual calculations, the dipole yield was 79% on one of the selected pest types based on the symptoms induced in the sugarcane plant.

Kidney disease is a condition in which the kidneys cannot function properly. Kidney disease is one of the diseases that can cause death and disability. Ignorance and lack of information about kidney disease causes the death rate of people with kidney disease to increase every year. Limited special kidney facilities in Indonesia are one of the factors slowing treatment. To distinguish what type of kidney disease sufferers of symptoms need to bring in an expert or specialist in internal medicine for a consultation. However, there are some problems with an expert such as an expert who is not always in place, the cost of consulting an expert is quite expensive, and still limited. Unhealthy lifestyle is also a factor in the increase in kidney disease sufferers. With these problems it can be concluded that it is necessary to create a system that can diagnose diseases without having to consult an expert with an expert system. An expert system is a system that can store expert information in a computer. In the Fuzzy Logic method, the existing data will be inferred by creating a rule in the form of IF_THEN and using the AND operation, then the minimum value (MIN) of several existing variables will be selected. From the results of trials conducted in this study it was found that based on the symptoms that occur the patient suffers from Acute Renal Failure.

Telecommunication network is a series of telecommunications equipment and accessories used in conducting telecommunications activities. To build an optical network, the most important thing is to plant poles which will be used as network connectors . Pole planting is done based on several factors. In considering some of these factors, of course the company must make the right decision so that the projects carried out are in accordance with the company's targets. Making decisions manually will result in inaccurate and precise results. To reduce inaccuracies in making a decision, we need a system that can help and support companies in making a decision. The MOORA method works by giving weight to each specific criterion. From the weighting evaluation, the results with the highest ranking will be taken to determine decision making. From the results of the trials carried out, the best alternative system and analysis results were obtained from 20 data, namely jl.tuamang with community demand criteria of 47 people, population density of 372 people, moderate location access and distance between pillars of 45 meters with a result of 0.1499.

The efficiency and effectiveness in the manufacturing industry are significantly impacted by artificial intelligence technology. An important application involves the improvement of product quality, which is measurable through the defects occurring during the production process. This research is aimed at predicting defects in the manufacturing process using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm with various distance measurement methods, namely Euclidean, Minkowski, and Manhattan distances. The research methodology is composed of four stages: dataset collection, data preprocessing, modeling, and evaluation. The focus of this research is on the optimal K value and the conditions that yield the highest accuracy, considering various scenarios of training and test data splitting ratios and different random state values. The test results indicate that the Minkowski distance method, with a data division ratio of 80% for training data, 20% for test data, and a random state value of 32, provides the best performance, with an optimal K value of 10 and an accuracy of 86.41%.

Children are the most beautiful gift for parents. These awards sometimes have deficiencies or many of them experience disturbances during their development. There are various kinds of developmental disorders that children suffer from, including: autism, ADHD, ADD, speech delay, Asperger's syndrome, and Taurette's syndrome. In Indonesia, 5% of the school-age population to some degree suffers from developmental disorders, one of which is Hyperactivity Disorder. Hyperactivity Disorder is experienced more by boys than girls, with an estimate of 2-4% for girls, and 6-9% for boys aged 6-12 years. One of the real challenges nowadays is the high cost to do a health check. So that many children are not brought by their parents to undergo examinations because of limited funds. In addition to funding, the lack of experts or specialists in the field of child health is also a factor for parents' reluctance to have their children examined. Situations that often occur in areas, especially those far from the city center. The selection of laying ducks on a farm is an important step for the continuity of activities in it. Increasing the selection of laying ducks requires quality standards to measure its success. This increase uses a simple additive weighting (saw) method in a decision support system. The increase in the selection of laying ducks is based on several criteria that have been applied, including the age of the ducks, the weight of the ducks, the shape of the duck feathers, and the shape of the duck wings. The results of this study indicate that the proposed model can be used properly in carrying out the selection of parent ducks for laying eggs. The SAW method is able to produce decisions in the form of the best alternative that can be used to assist decision makers. so that it can assist in the selection of broodstock ducks in an ordinary or intensive farm.

Data security is a security system that is needed to protect data in systems, networks and other digital components. In a unit or agency such as the South Binjai sub-district office, the management of employee salary data is done digitally, namely via a computer. However, in this increasingly sophisticated digital era, it can cause many irresponsible individuals to easily wiretapping the company's data so that it can be easily accessed by other parties, as well as employee salary data which contains a lot of data. important. In order to avoid unwanted things such as theft of personal data by irresponsible persons, a security system is needed that can maintain the confidentiality of data and secure data. Therefore, in this case, a security system is needed that can maintain the confidentiality of data and secure employee salary data. With that there are many algorithms that can be used in securing employee salary data. And the algorithm used is hill cipher and AES algorithm. The hill cipher algorithm is an encryption-decryption algorithm that uses a transformation matrix. The AES algorithm is a symmetric block ciphertext that can encrypt and decrypt information. The use of these two algorithms can further strengthen the security of employee salary data. From the results of the trials carried out, the sample data used containing employee salary data was successfully secured with both hill cipher and AES algorithms.

The managerial economics implications of Rupiah exchange rate fluctuations on investment and corporate growth are critical considerations for businesses operating in Indonesia's volatile economic environment. This study, conducted through an extensive literature review, explores the multifaceted impacts of exchange rate volatility on corporate decision-making and performance. Key findings indicate that fluctuations in the Rupiah increase investment risks and uncertainties, adversely affecting private sector investment and corporate growth. The review highlights that exchange rate volatility escalates production costs and diminishes profit margins, thereby impeding business expansion and competitive positioning in international markets. From a managerial perspective, effective risk management strategies such as hedging and portfolio diversification are essential for mitigating exchange rate risks. Additionally, efficient resource management and operational efficiency are pivotal in cushioning the adverse effects of currency fluctuations. The study underscores the importance of dynamic pricing strategies and financial instruments in stabilizing cash flows and sustaining growth amidst economic turbulence. This paper contributes to the theoretical and practical understanding of exchange rate impacts on managerial decisions and provides actionable insights for businesses to navigate currency volatility. Future research should focus on empirical analyses to validate the findings and explore case studies across various sectors to further elucidate the nuances of managing exchange rate risks in different business contexts.

Cancer is a dangerous disease that is not contagious and is caused by abnormal cells or tissues that can grow rapidly. The rapid development of this network will cause several complications of this disease which develop rapidly as well. Adam Malik General Hospital is one of the government hospitals that has complete facilities to treat cancer patients. Because it is a regionally centralized general hospital, each patient has quite a long queue when conducting consultations and treatment, this can result in physical fatigue in patients because it takes too long in the queue. To overcome these problems, we need a system that can provide information and detect early cancer diagnoses. So that the doctor can use the results of the diagnosis issued by the system so that it can be analyzed further. This of course can speed up the time the patient is in the examination, so that the treatment process can run effectively and efficiently. An expert system is a system that can store information from an expert, such as a doctor, for example. One of the methods that can be used is the Bayes Theorem method, which is a theory of probable conditions that calculates the probability of an event that depends on evidence. From the results of the trials that have been carried out, the results show that the patient suffers from cancer, namely breast cancer with a value of 81.60%.
