Abstract

Usability is an important aspect in measuring the quality of an application. Applications must have good usability to make it easier for users to operate the application both for use and to obtain the information needed for each user. This study aims to find out how far the application of technological developments in the field of Financial Technology (fintech) DANA and OVO is usable for users based on the usability measurement approach ISO 9241-11 with three measurement indicators, namely effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. This research was conducted with data obtained through the help of a questionnaire with a Likert scale consisting of 26 questions grouped into four variables with 400 respondents for each application of 200 respondents based on 7 stages of data testing, namely descriptive statistical test, validity test, test reliability, normality test, variable linearity test, R2 test and the last hypothesis test. The data obtained will be processed and calculated using the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution version 23 software, with the final result being an average usability value of 53.6% for the DANA application, and 64.4% for the OVO application.

Abstract

In this century, the industrial sector is a very important sector to support the national economy. The industrial sector contributed very high so that it succeeded in bringing Indonesia to the 85th rank out of 131 countries in the world's manufacturing industry, the industrial sector was growing very rapidly accompanied by increasing positive growth. Bracket assy is a component or frame structure on a bulldozer that uses SS400 and ST37 type steel metal material, which means that the component is very strong and does not break easily when exposed to heavy loads. Bracket assy is a product that has gone through various fabrication processes. The function of the bracket assy is as a handle for the hydraulic system pipe and also the pedestal of the body or engine cover, the bracket assy is located above the front of the car chassis which is positioned facing up. The process of making the bracket assy, namely, the selection of materials used in the process of making the Bracket Assy, namely Steel SS400 and ST 37, Gas Cutting Machines, Bending Machines, and Welding Machines. In the cutting process of the Gas Cutting Machine, the workpiece is cut. Next is the Bending Machine process where the workpiece is bent. Furthermore, the welding process of the workpiece is welded in 2 stages, namely the first tack welding and full welding / Fillet Weld, then Quality Control is carried out to check whether the product is ready to be distributed, the product is qualified into two types, namely GOOD for products that have passed Quality control and NOT GOOD for products that do not pass Quality Control.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the User Experience in the Threads application through the application of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. User Experience (UX) is how users interact with a product or service offered by a company or organization. The role of users certainly greatly influences the success of an application. The Threads app is a social media app that launched on July 5, 2023, but its user experience has not been explored much. The UEQ method is used to measure various aspects of user experience, including Attractiveness, Clarity, Efficiency, Appropriateness, Stimulation, and Novelty. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires that had been created using Google Form and then processing the data results using the Data Analysis Tool. UEQ analysis results provide deep insight into how users interact with Threads applications and how certain aspects of the user experience can be improved. Of the 6 UEQ assessment scales, the results of this research are that there are 4 scales with "Bad" results in Attractiveness, Efficiency, Accuracy, and Stimulation. Then, there is a scale with “Below Average” results in Clarity. And there is a scale with “Above Average” results in Recency. This indicates that the Threads application has a poor benchmark level. The results of the User Experience (UX) analysis show that users feel less satisfied when using the Threads social media application.

Abstract

The process of sorting fruits at this time still uses conventional methods, namely the use of human labor (manual). Therefore, a system is needed that can carry out the sorting process automatically in a short time. The purpose of this study is to determine the components of the lemon quality separator along with its automation system and the distribution of static loading on the frame of the lemon quality separator. The automation system used is a TCS3200 sensor (green / yellow color selection) and a photodiode sensor (large / small lemon size). The frame construction was designed using solidworks 2018 software. Material used in hollow iron frame (ASTM A36). Based on the results of the study showed that the maximum voltage on the frame (frame) is 2.470 MPa and the minimum is 0.100 MPa. The maximum value at displacement is 0.027 mm, and the minimum value at safety of factor is 82.582.

Abstract

Aluminum (Al) is a light metal that has corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity. It is estimated that the use of aluminum in the future will still be wide open, both as a main material and as a supporting material, with the abundant availability of aluminum ore on earth. The welding process is one part of the manufacturing process. The welding process, which in principle is to connect two or more components, is more precisely indicated for assembling several components into a machine form. Welding Aluminum 5052 using GMAW welding with variations in welding electric current, namely 200A and 210 A, welding using the E4043 electrode. The aim of this research is to determine the strength of GMAW welded joints on Aluminum 5052 against the Charphy impact test. The GMAW welding electric current value at an electric current of 200 A produces a work force of 55.012 J and produces 0.678 J/????????2 impact charphy value, at an electric current of 210 A it produces a work force of 64.34 J and produces 0.804 J/????????2 impact charphy value. From the calculation results that have been obtained, the higher the GMAW welding electric current used causes the weld area to become more ductile, but on the contrary, the lower the GMAW welding electric current, the harder it is and tends to break easily.

Abstract

PD Sumber Putri Rejeki is a trading company which operates in the sector of making door frames, door panels, glass windows, etc. located in the Tangerang Regency area. The process of making door frames involves various processes such as unloading wood, cutting wood, making profiles, smoothing, assembling and finishing the product, namely varnishing. Where every stage in production has a potential risk of work accidents which need to be evaluated and managed effectively. Work accidents can have a serious impact on the health and productivity of workers, as well as creating inconvenience and losses for the company. Based on these problems, the aim of this research is to determine the risk priority number (RPN), which is a risk priority number obtained from multiplying severity, occurrence and detection using the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) method as a risk analysis tool. The conclusion of this research is that the potential dangers that exist in PD Sumber Putri Rejeki are injured hands, injured feet, shoulder injuries, cut limbs, respiratory problems and vision problems. The average potential hazard value with the highest level of risk is cutting work with an RPN value of 74, while the description of the potential hazard for all jobs is visual impairment due to material residue in contact with the eyes with an RPN value of 108.

Abstract

Technology is developing rapidly and home security is very important for all householders. This door control system is designed so that house residents feel safe and comfortable when entering and leaving the house. Residents can use door magnets and touch sensors to lock doors and receive information via WhatsApp to monitor when creatures enter their homes.The design of this tool system uses a Nodemcu ESP8266 microcontroller to process data collected through touch, infrared and sound sensors. This touch sensor is used to open the door or move the servo to open the door, and the door solenoid valve is used to unlock the door. The infrared sensor will then detect when someone enters your home, a buzzer will sound, and a notification will be sent via WhatsApp. The sound sensor is used to turn the fan on and off.

Abstract

Along with the significant development of technology today, websites have become an alternative media as a means of promotion and information dissemination. The website has many facilities that can make things easier for users, one of which is a chatbot. Chatbots or what are commonly known as virtual assistants are able to understand and respond to user requests with the right answers. The use of the Python programming language is quite popular among novice programmers, its simple syntax and clear and logical code means that this language is often used for creating games, websites, prototyping and also for handling big data. One of the modules for creating Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications in Python is Tkinter. In this research, a chatbot will be created which aims to make it easier for users to find solutions to the problems they face when using the Python programming language in the Tkinter GUI module using Natural Language Processing in an interactive way.

Abstract

KitaLulus is a trusted job portal platform with more than 3 million job seeker, however there are still problems that affect job seeker in the application process. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the function of this portal to see whether it is running well and in accordance with user requirements so that solutions can be remomended. The aim of this research is to analyze the user interface and redesign the interface to produce a prototype according to the user requirements and experience of job seeker on job portal of KitaLulus. The method of this research is User Centered Design (UCD) that consists of 4 stages, namely understanding the context of use, determining user needs, designing solutions and evaluating requirements. The first step is understanding the context that it is to analyze the level of user usability using the WEBUSE questionnaire and interviews with job seekers of the KitaLulus portal. The second stage, determine user needs that it is to identify problems and requirements of user interface. The third stage is design solution, that it is redesign of user interface prototype based on user requirements and experiences. The final stage is evaluation of requirements, to evaluate the prototype to find out improvements in usability. The research results show that the prototype has an average value of 0.877. It shows an increase of 0.144 and change in usability level from Good to Excellent.

Abstract

Injection molding, is a manufacturing process for making plastic components. The plastic material is melted, pressed into a mold, then cooled to become the finished product. Injection molding has the potential for air problems or trapped air affecting the quality of the final product. Test data is obtained from software analysis. The bucket cast test results showed defects in the form of holes or unwanted mold marks due to air trapped in the injection molding process. Injection pressure affects air traps defects. At a pressure of 170 Mpa, 180 Mpa, 190 Mpa at a temperature of 200 °C, there is no significant change in the pressure difference and there are still bubble defects in the product, but it is still within the allowable tolerance limits. Optimizing injection pressure is important to reduce bubble defects in the injection molding process. To overcome the air problem in the injection molding process, several ways that can be done include choosing the right plastic raw materials, optimizing injection pressure, adjusting injection speed, and paying attention to good product design or mold design.
