Abstract

Indonesian people have a very high desire to perform worship and use Hajj and Umrah savings financing through a travel company, namely PT Hannan Nusantara. The goal of this paper is to examine the phenomenon of Hajj and Umrah financing, focusing on its alignment with maqashid sharia (the objectives of Islamic law) and maslahah mursalah (public benefit). This study uses a qualitative research method, namely research that produces findings without using statistical calculation procedures in analysis, in conducting qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of this study are There is no guarantee for participants so that financing problems that occur will harm one party, both the Institution and the participants. There is no responsibility for participants after death, because in the principles of Islamic economics, the heirs of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are responsible, then there is a misuse of PMA regulation number 8 of 2018 which should have taken the loan funds from A. Partners or Financial Institutions, but in this case PT Hannan Nusantara acquired the Hajj Savings Institution, ownership of PT Hannan Nusantara.

Abstract

Intergenerational poverty is a complex issue involving various factors, including education, unemployment, and minimum wages.  This study analyzes the impact of education levels, unemployment rates, and minimum wages on poverty rates in West Sumatra using multiple linear regression models. Secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Finance during the period of 2021-2023 were used to analyze 19 districts/cities in West Sumatra. The results indicate that education levels and minimum wages significantly affect the reduction of poverty rates, while unemployment rates contribute positively to increasing poverty. This study provides policy recommendations to enhance the quality of education and adjust minimum wages to break the intergenerational poverty cycle in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inclusive economic growth in the regencies and cities of West Sumatra. The research utilizes panel data comprising a 5-year time series and a cross-section of 19 regencies and cities, resulting in a total of 95 observations. The dependent variable in this study is inclusive economic growth, while the independent variables include education, health, and government spending. The analytical method employed is panel data regression analysis. Based on the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test, the best model selected is the Random Effect Model (REM). The classical assumption tests indicate that the data satisfy the requirements for normality and multicollinearity. The results of the panel data regression analysis reveal that education and health have a significant negative effect on inclusive economic growth, whereas government spending has a significant positive effect. These findings suggest that the government should focus on improving the quality of education and healthcare services and optimizing government spending to achieve inclusive economic growth. Such efforts should also aim to reduce poverty and income inequality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and machine maintenance on production performance at CV Pabrik Tahu Sumedang. In the food industry, production efficiency is a crucial factor in maintaining business sustainability and company competitiveness. SCM plays an essential role in ensuring the availability of raw materials, smooth distribution, and coordination among parties within the supply chain, thereby optimizing the production process. On the other hand, proper machine maintenance is necessary to maintain operational stability, reduce the risk of equipment failure, and enhance production effectiveness. This research utilizes a quantitative approach by conducting a survey and distributing questionnaires to 54 employees at CV Pabrik Tahu Sumedang. To ensure the reliability of the data, the analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression, starting with validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The implications of this study suggest that the company must continuously optimize supply chain management to minimize production constraints, such as delays in raw material supply and distribution inefficiencies. Additionally, the company should implement a more structured machine maintenance strategy, including preventive and corrective maintenance, to ensure machines operate in optimal conditions. By improving SCM and machine maintenance aspects, the company can enhance overall production performance, maintain competitiveness, and meet the growing market demand.

Abstract

This study examines the implications of budget transparency on public trust in government budget management. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by reviewing relevant articles from various sources, such as ResearchGate, OpenKnowledge, and the Publish and Perish application. The results show that budget transparency has a positive and significant impact on public trust, increases accountability, reduces information gaps, and strengthens the government's image. Public participation in the budget process, supported by easy access to budget information, also plays an important role. In addition, open government data transparency (OGD) and participatory budgeting were identified as effective ways to increase public trust. The study also highlights obstacles to the implementation of budget transparency, such as the lack of formal structures in civil society and the lack of community involvement as equal partners. In conclusion, the government needs to continue to improve budget transparency, expand access to information, and strengthen the role of civil society to build public trust and government legitimacy.

Abstract

The Indonesian Islamic capital market has experienced significant growth over the past decade, both in terms of the number of Islamic stocks, market capitalisation, and increased investor participation. However, its contribution to the total national capital market remains limited. This study aims to comprehensively examine the dynamics of the development of Indonesia's Islamic capital market from 2014 to 2024 through a SWOT analysis approach and the principles of Islamic maqāṣid. The methodology used is a descriptive-qualitative approach based on literature review and secondary data analysis from the OJK, IDX, and relevant empirical sources. The findings indicate that the Islamic capital market has strengths in terms of ethical values and Islamic compliance, but faces structural challenges such as low literacy and liquidity. Strategic opportunities arise from the integration of Islamic fintech, the development of ESG products, and synergy with the national halal economy. This study contributes to the development of maqāṣid-based policies that not only pursue profitability but also ensure sustainability and socio-economic justice.
