Abstract

Bandengan village is one of the northern coastal areas of Pekalongan which has been affected by tidal flooding until now. The tidal flood conditions forced people whose livelihoods were from agriculture to change into casual laborers, traders and so on. There is a need for technological breakthroughs in carrying out agricultural activities that are minimal and unsupportive. The modern term that is currently used to cover several cultivation methods in urban areas is Urban Farming. Urban Farming is a form of urban farming growing food in urban areas on land, usually in backyards or on vacant lots, but sometimes neglected spaces such as road medians, which are not usually dedicated to producing food. Extension activities and mentoring by competent agriculture can be able to change conditions that are less favorable for agricultural cultivation until the community is ready in terms of theory and practice. This service is in the context of the 40th anniversary of Pekalongan University in the context of forming the target village. The methods used in this service are lectures, active participation or discussion and mentoring. The outreach activities in the form of lectures and discussions were attended by the youth of the Bandengan village. An overview of Urban Farming is presented using a projector. The explanation of the Urban Farming concept offered is in accordance with the Bandengan area (verticulture, hydroponics, aquaponics and polybags) and what has been done by Bandengan residents, namely hydroponics and polybags. The implementation of this counseling has an impact on the community's enthusiasm to carry out agricultural activities even though their agricultural land has been submerged by tidal water. Urban farming explains how cultivation on land is limited and affected by tidal flooding but can still produce vegetable and fruit crops that can increase the income of the people of Bandengan village.Keywords : Agriculture, Bandengan, Flood Rob, Urban Farming

Abstract

Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) have a very high risk of being infected with Covid-19. NCD’s control has actually been carried out through the activities of the Posbindu, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic with restrictive rules, the Posbindu could not be implemented. This service aims to educate health cadres and increase public awareness in controlling NCD’s. The activity was attended by 10 participants who are health cadres. The focus of this service activity is on promotive and preventive through education about CERDIK and PATUH behavior to prevent NCD’s in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The result of this service is that health cadres have understood the material presented. Health cadres want further activities to be carried out regarding the simulation of Posbindu activities in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can awaken the role of health cadres to be able to socialize the public about CERDIK and PATUH behavior so that prevention and control of NCD’s can still be carried out. Keyword : Education, Non Communicable Disease

Abstract

The characteristics of children's behavior in the millennial era are marked by a strong mastery of digital media, so how do parents determine parenting to build a generation that does not accept the bad effects of the digital era, but uses all media wisely and for positive purposes. Family education is an effort to empower families to be able to exercise control over existing resources and active participation in character formation. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic has forced families to be more attentive to the process of their children participating in their learning activities at school. Many families in Bandengan Village have difficulty guiding their children in learning activities, especially learning assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic. The majority of the people of Bandengan Village earn as casual laborers, small fishermen and factory workers. By implementing the FKIP Mengajar and mentoring program for independent study groups in Bandengan Village, it is hoped that it can help the people of Bandengan Village in the field of education, especially the problem of learning difficulties experienced by teenagers. The method used in this service is active participation and mentoring. This strategy can be summarized as follows: 1. Grouping of Adolescents according to School Age 2. Learning Assistance (school materials, Multi Literacy, and general skills,) 3. Formation of Independent Study Group 4. Independent learning group mentoring. The synergy between universities and the community is needed in a real form. FKIP Pekalongan University provides solutions to problems in the learning assistance of parents for their children. Independent learning group mentoring is a tangible form of solving learning mentoring problems in the community.Keywords : independent learning, family education, mentoring.

Abstract

Green economy education is an effort to provide information to other people to know and understand environmentally friendly business activities. Limited natural resources due to environmental damage sometimes lead to creative ideas to start a business or business. Community service activities are carried out through education with outreach methods to the community in the Bandengan sub-district, North Pekalongan sub-district. The result of this service activity is that public knowledge and understanding of the green economy increases and fosters the spirit of starting a business by utilizing limited natural resources due to the tidal flood disaster.Keywords: Green Economy, Entrepreneur, Bandengan.

Abstract

Floating net cages are models of aquaculture cages for fish cultivation that are adaptable to the phenomenon of flooding and tidal waves. The purpose of this social service is to create a model of floating cages that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to tidal flooding. The method used in the implementation of this social service program is active participation and mentoring which is carried out gradually and periodically to groups of aquaculturist in Jeruksari Village, Pekalongan Regency. The results of this program show that all service activities starting from counseling sessions, mentoring (shopping materials and making cages), to monitoring when the cultivation period goes very smoothly and the aquaculturist partner groups are also quite enthusiastic about participating. The floating cages made from this program are made from cheap and easily available materials in the surrounding environment, such as bamboo, fishing nets, used floating cans, ropes, and stone weights. Based on the implementation of this program, it can be said that the fish farming community in Jeruksari Village is actually able to create practical examples of floating cage models that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to flooding and tidal flooding.Keywords : fish cultivation, cage, model, mentoring, counseling.

Abstract

Years 2019 the world attended the introduction of a disease caused by a virus corona. The case of the virus corona entered indonesia to third on sunday january 2020.Since then the indonesian government responded to an emergency in march 2020.Before being discovered a vaccine to prevent the disease, people drinking, antibiotics ibuprofen for the pain and vitamin.However in addition to the use of, the village community bandengan pekalongan city use of herbs to boost immunity. Body They are consuming it in the form of herbal medicine among others appointment Temu ireng ( curcuma aeroginosa ), Jinten ( Cuminum cyminum ), Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia ). Jahe ( Zingiber officinale ), usually they use as the heat on the body and made in the form of a hot drink.The public believe with increasing stamina and a disease caused by a virus corona wo not happen. Keywords : Imunomodulator, Herbal, Stamina
