Abstract

The problem in the The Conexio Cikunir 1 Apartment project which has the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) was had delayed, which should have been 100% contractually completed, but only 46.231% have been realized. Based on these percentages, required an analysis of the dominant factors that causes of delayed in this project. This study has purpose to determine the dominant factor influencing the variables causing project delayed. Questionnaires were distributed to the respondents consisting of the contractors, owners and supervisory consultants involved in the apartment construction project. The results of the questionnaires were processed using SPSS 25 software. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression method. The results of the research shows that factors which fulfilled on the partial test (t test) and has a significant influence is document of works variable (5.792 ) . This value has the highest rank of significance value for project delayed. Futhermore is planning & scheduling variable (2,805), equipments variable (2,482), managerial variable (2.324), materials variable (2,248), and external factors variable (2.094). The result of Adjusted R Square of 62.70% shows that the Factors that Causes of Delayed can affect the Project Delay variable by 62.70%, while the remaining 37.30% is affected by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Pond ash concrete bond is expected to increase bond strength, because in previous studies pond ash concrete resulted in increased mechanical properties of concrete. Bond strength is the bonding mechanism between steel reinforcement and concrete in reinforced concrete construction as the main tool to transfer internal strength between reinforcement and concrete. In this study, a total of thirty-six cylinder concrete with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. Variations of the test parameters are three reinforcement diameters of 12 mm, 16 mm and 25 mm and two types of reinforcement namely plain reinforcement and deform reinforcement for normal concrete and pond ash concrete, using a 25 MPa normal concrete mix design and water cement ratio of 0.52. The results showed that the increase in bond strength on the plain reinforcement from 84.49 kg/cm2 to 91.33 kg/cm2 an increase of 8.09%, while for deform reinforcement there was in increase from 119.70 kg/cm2 in concrete normal to 131.32 kg/cm2 an increase of 9.71% in pond ash concrete. Split collapse occurs in deform reinforcement, whereas in plain reinforcement, slip collapse occurs.

Abstract

The road conditions in the Fakfak Regency area have suffered a lot of damage, this is related to the subgrade condition of the road in the form of clay. One method that is widely used to improve the characteristics of clay that does not fulfill the requirements as a road subgrade material is to add fly ash. Aim of this study was to determine the value of clay plasticity before and after adding rock ash with the percentage of stone ash 8%, 16%, 32%. From the results of testing on clay soaked for 7 days can reduce the liquid limit value where the largest decrease is 15,24% of the original soil occurs in the addition of 32% fly ash with a value of 66,86%. The plastic limit value also decreased by 20,40% from the original soil with a value of 46,10% at the addition of 32% fly ash. And the plasticity index value experienced the largest decrease in the addition of 32% stone ash with a decrease of 0,97% from the original soil with a value of 20,76%. In clay soil which was brooded for 14 days the largest liquid limit value decreased which was 18.72% of the original soil occurred in the addition of 32% fly ash with a value of 64,11%. The plastic limit value also decreased by 21,77% from the original land with a value of 45,31% at the addition of 32% fly ash. And the plasticity index value experienced the largest decrease in the addition of 32% stone ash with a decrease of 10,32% from the original land with a value of 18,80%.

Abstract

Many parties are involved in a construction project, so in deciding a method of implementing the box girder erection many criteria are taken into consideration. Consequently, decision making is not easy for decision makers. A simple, frequently-used, and popular method for decision making is Fuzzy-Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) which is designed to overcome the problem of multi criteria decision making (MCDM) in the subjective assessment process. This study aims to obtain the correct method of implementing the box girder erection to be used. Based on previous research, the criteria for determining box girder erection method are the criteria for job risk, work quality, implementation time, implementation process, work safety, and work costs. The alternatives compared are the tandem crane method and the launching gantry method. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires distributed to the expert parties involved in Jakarta - Cikampek II Elevated Toll Road Project. F-AHP analysis is based on the weighting  of quantitative criteria as a result of normalized calculations and qualitative criteria from the results of the respondents questionnaires which were then made pairwise comparisons assisted by Microsoft Excel software. The results of the analysis show that the occupational safety criteria are the most influential criteria with a weight of 0.454, then followed by job risk criteria (0.169), implementation time (0.119), work quality (0.114), implementation process (0.084), and work costs (0.061). The most appropriate method used in the work of the box girder erection at Jakarta - Cikampek II Elevated Toll Road Project is a launching gantry method with a value of 0.597, while the tandem crane method has a value of 0.403.

Abstract

The need for housing is very rapid, especially the type of house growing with several choices of area, namely types 21, 27, 36, 45 to 120m2. In the growing house will be provided land for homeowners to develop the house so it is more feasible. The concept of housing provided by the developer is sometimes incompatible with the concept of utilizing natural lighting because it only emphasizes attractive design and number of units. For this reason, it is necessary to provide a reference for homeowners as a strategy to renovate buildings facing the west so that the utilization of natural lighting remains optimal and meets the measurement of comfort visually. The study will analyze the average lux value or Daylight Levels avarage of natural lighting resulting from the amount of light openings. The analysis will be done is the average value of natural lighting from the location strategy and the amount of light aperture in producing quality lighting in space. The kitchen room and family room are spaces with a high level of activity that require optimal lighting. The most optimal lighting level is the opening type of model 1 with 10% opening in the west, 10% opening in the roof, and 50% in the east. The resulting lighting level is 998.58 lux in clear sky conditions and 849 lux overcast conditions.

Abstract

It is the main and important element to be fulfilled, water becomes the primary need in all elements of life of living things so that they can continue to live life and all its activities. Besides that water is also in secondary needs as a means of transportation. Even water is also able to become a recreational facility so that water can also be said as a complement to tertiary needs. Water covers almost 71% of the Earth's surface. There are 1.4 trillion cubic kilometers (330 million miles) available on Earth. Viewed from the point of view of public health, the average volume of water requirements for each individual per day ranges from 150-200 liters or 35-40 gallons. The water requirements vary and depend on the climate, living standards and habits of the people. Reduced population of vacant land results in the availability of land to be reduced and limited. This makes the opportunity for hotel and apartment properties to increase. For some large cities, the presence of hotels and apartments is increasing every year, of course this will have an impact on the needs and availability of clean water that must be available every day. Because this research is very important to make an effort that is able to minimize the use of ground water by saving water and recycling water methods. The effort is able to be a solution to the efforts to create efficient use of ground water. Exactly this Water Management Infrastructure Engineering is carried out in the Grand Taman Melati Margonda Apartment 2. With a total unit reaching 939 units. Aspects that are the focus of the results of this study are aspects of quantity and cost.

Abstract

The development of manufacture Industries in the world rapidly increases especially in Indonesia. One of the manufacture industries is pipe fitting. PT Flo Bend Indonesia is the only manufacturer of pipe fitting steel and iron in Indonesia. The production process of pipe fitting is carried by the machining process. Quality of product produced by PT Flo Bend is depended on jig and fixture. Some of the problems that often appear are the variation of the material dimension that can disturb the beveling process. The time is needed to be longer to change the jig and fixture that suitable with material that needs to be cut. Therefore, this study was conducted to solve the problems by designing the jig and fixture that are more flexible and can adjust to the varying material dimension. The design focuses on the varying of concentric reducer size. Fishbone diagram was used to analyze the problems so that the approximate design concept can be determined. The result of FEM simulation shows 27,3 Mpa for the stress maximum and 8,1 for Factor of safety. Based on FMEA simulation, the design can reduce the time almost 600 minutes. In addition, the design can reduce the cost of the process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the design concept is safe to use.

Abstract

This research analyzed the influence of vetiver strengthening on slope stability. The research do in prototype media, where the slope was planned 80°. Before planting vetiver, firstly original soil is tested by index and engineering properties test. Based on the test, we can conclude that the soil use is silty clay with the value of qu and cohesion of prototype with 3 vetiver are 0,322 kg/cm2 and 0,085 kg/cm2. In prototype with 6 vetiver, the value of qu and cohesion are 0,329 kg/cm2 and 0,025 kg/cm2. Vetiver planted and tested by direct shear and unconfined compression test at planting time 4 - 7 and 16 weeks. At 16 week, the value of qu and cohesion of prototype with 3 vetiver are 0,714 kg/cm2 and 0,306 kg/cm2. In prototype with 6 vetiver, the value of qu and cohesion are 0,782 kg/cm2and 0,325 kg/cm2. The test result parameters are used as inputs to GeoStudio. Based on the program, in prototype with 3 vetiver, the safety factor increase from 0,516 to 1,519, and in prototype with 6 vetiver the safety factor increase from 0,201 to 1,545. So, it can be concluded that vetiver can improve slope stability.
