Tuberculosis is a disease caused by Mycobacterium bacteria and until now it is still a disease with a high burden for the Indonesian people. Abstract

Health is what everyone is looking for. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease. One of the ways to keep the body in good health is to live a clean and healthy lifestyle. The indicators used in PHBS Indonesia are efforts to prevent communicable diseases (behavior indicators of washing hands with soap, using clean water, using healthy latrines; and eradicating mosquito larvae) and non-communicable diseases (indicators of consuming fruits and vegetables; doing physical activity; and not smoking in the house), as well as efforts to improve the health of mothers and children (indicators of deliveries with health personnel, exclusive breastfeeding, and weighing toddlers). The Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2007, 2013 and 2018 showed that the proportion of households that have practiced PHBS over the last ten years has increased by around 28%. Abstract

Scabies is a highly contagious infection that falls under the category of neglected diseases. If not treated as soon as possible, scabies rapidly spreads throughout a community, causing significant distress for those affected. In a more advanced stage, scabies can lead to malnutrition in children and threaten their growth and development. Obviously, scabies can impair the quality of life of adult patients. In addition to screening and diagnosis as early as possible to prevent secondary and tertiary infections, education regarding the prevention and complete treatment of scabies is crucial. This community service therefore focuses comprehensively on educating the public about the introduction and prevention of scabies transmission, in addition to screening for scabies by doctors and examination of secondary infections by performing gram examinations, screening for growth disorders caused by scabies, and comprehensive treatment for not only sufferers, but also their families

Abstract

Meususon ranup (the activity of stringing betel leaves) is a tradition that exists in the Aceh region as a preparation for the handing over of the bride and groom. Meanwhile, the assembled betel leaves are called ranup meuson in the Acehnese language. Ranup (betel leaf) is a symbol of glory for the people of Aceh to glorify guests (peumulia jamee). In Acehnese wedding customs, ranup meususon is an important delivery for the bride and groom as a symbol of glory and a means of communication for the two families of the bride and groom. Betel stringing activities are generally carried out by parents in villages, while the younger generation is almost not involved in these activities. It is feared that there will be no heirs in making ranup meuson so that it can result in the loss of national identity. The solution offered to the problems that occur is to provide meususon ranup (betel nut) training to the millennial generation. The purpose of this service is to preserve Aceh's customs and culture for the millennial generation as cultural heirs. The implementation method in this service uses 2 (two) stages, namely deepening the material and practice in groups. The results of the dedication which was attended by 18 students can be seen from the enthusiasm and seriousness of the participants in the training activities and the success of arranging betel leaves in the form of a Teuku Umar kupiah neatly and proportionally.

Abstract

MSMEs activities in the COVID-19 pandemic situation are of great hope in helping the recovery of the community's economic system. The partners for this community service activity are MSMEs in the Bareng Raya sub-district of Malang. Based on excavations and interviews, it shows that MSMEs in Bareng Raya are still not effective and efficient, especially in the field of branding, because there is still no organization that oversees them. This has an impact on sales results that are less than optimal. Lack of education regarding proper marketing and branding methods is one of the obstacles to marketing outreach to new customers. The approach method used in this community service is the establishment of a business by holding seminars and discussions regarding strategies related to forming business groups and discussion methods regarding possible obstacles. The proposed method is a branding strategy. The science and technology applied to partners includes knowledge of branding strategies to help support the marketing of the Bareng Raya MSMEs business group. In addition, the formation of the Bareng Raya business group will produce output in the form of organizational structure and branding, which are expected to help increase sales.
