Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work discipline on the quality of service at the West Bandung District Social Service. The method used in this study is a descriptive and quantitative method, with the survey method. The sample in this study was 50 employee respondents at the West Bandung Social Service. Sampling using population techniques. Data analysis techniques used statistical analysis with multiple regression models to answer the research hypothesis. The r study results show that the work environment and discipline significantly affect the quality of service at the West Bandung District Social Service. Based on the performance achievements at the West Bandung Regency Social Service in the year that the authors obtained through observation and research, the authors found a discrepancy between performance achievements and the level of community satisfaction based on the quality of service provided to the community. The author tries to dig deeper by conducting this research based on these findings. From the results of this study, the work environment and discipline positively affect the quality of service at the West Bandung Regency social service. Maintained properly by the Department so that employees feel at home and comfortable carrying out their work activities. In addition, work discipline must always be improved by complying with all the rules in the Office so that discipline can continue to be upheld. Because if the work environment and good work discipline will improve the quality of services provided to the community.

Abstract

The learning model that is also widely used and applied to the learning process is the Guide Discovery Learning model. Guide Discovery Learning is the use of probing questions to direct students' attention to important features in a problem or example. This study aims to identify publications related to the Guide Discovery Learning learning model in the learning process and explain the characteristics of these studies. The descriptive bibliometric analysis method was used in this study. The results show that the trend of publications related to Guided Discovery learning in education has increased, especially in 2019 to 2020. Publications in 2018 have the highest h-index and g-index values compared to other years. The research focus related to Guided Discovery learning in education is 1) critical thinking and augmented reality; 2) addie, module and middle school; 3) motivation and achievements.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is a learning model that demands more student interaction working together in groups to improve student academic achievement. One of the cooperative learning models is the jigsaw learning model, which is a learning model that directs students to communicate with each other by giving assignments so that students have a responsibility to their peers. This study aims to determine trends and research focus on the publication of the jigsaw learning model in economics learning which then obtains the distribution for 2004 - 2022. Data collection techniques are done by downloading files on the dimensions database to see trends in publications with the largest number of documents, classification of institution rankings or universities, countries, journals, and documents, and the use of shared keywords. The method used is bibliometric analysis. A total of 46 documents collected through the dimensions database were then put together in 1 file in csv format and entered into the VOSviewer application to get network visualization and overlay visualization. The study results show that the trend of publications related to the jigsaw learning model in economics studies has increased yearly. The documents with the highest number are in the "International Journal of Educational Research Review" with a total of 4 documents, then in the Berlyana Purwaningsih article (2019) with the title "Experimentation of STAD and Jigsaw Learning Models on Learning Achievements in terms of Learning Motivation" with a total 15 citations. Activity is the most used keyword jigsaw together with 16 events. Based on the keywords that have been visualized, several keywords have become trends. Research focuses on jigsaw learning models in economic learning, namely economic, activity, education, achievement, university, student activity, teacher, teaching, cooperative learning, cost, economic learning outcome, pedagogical approach, experience, competence sustainability, interest, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, environment, innovation, students perception and technology.

Abstract

Higher education is a stage of education that is believed to be very important in one's life. After completing secondary education, many students feel confused and don't know what to do next. However, continuing education to a higher level is a very wise choice and can open up many opportunities in the future. The purpose of this service and social service is to motivate class XII students at SMA AL-Falah Bandung to continue their studies at tertiary institutions. There are several steps in overcoming the problems faced by students, such as field observations, preparing activity plans, making activity materials, and implementing community service activities. The benefit of this dedication is that it can increase motivation, knowledge, entrance tests and scholarships so as to encourage students' desire to continue their studies at tertiary institutions. This service is carried out by providing education and motivation for activities such as education on LPDP scholarships, Featured scholarships, KIP scholarships, and Games. Based on some of the activities carried out, it is hoped that some changes will occur to students such as increasing the motivation of class XII students to continue their education to tertiary institutions, increasing the knowledge of class XII students about LPDP scholarships, increasing the knowledge of class XII students about KIP scholarships and increasing the knowledge of class XII students. class XII students on superior scholarships (BU).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of buying and selling activities, especially market-day activities, in building students' entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurship plays an important role in preparing students to face the challenges of an increasingly complex and dynamic world of work. However, the development of entrepreneurial spirit is often not a major concern in formal education. Market Day activities in schools can be an effective means of building students' entrepreneurial spirit. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Through interviews and data analysis, it was found that implementing market days in schools can develop students' entrepreneurship skills. Students are actively, creatively, and innovatively involved in carrying out tasks related to the Market Day. They learn to create new ideas, interact with customers, manage finances, and deal with various situations and conditions. The results showed that Market Day activities were effective in instilling entrepreneurial spirit and mental character in the students. Several important entrepreneurial characteristics such as creativity, self-confidence, adaptability, financial responsibility, effective communication, cooperation, and decision-making skills can be developed through buying and selling activities on the Market Day. By understanding the positive influence of buying and selling activities in building students' entrepreneurial spirit, this research provides a better understanding of the importance of including such activities in the education curriculum. The results of this research are expected to be the basis for developing educational strategies and policies that are more effective in preparing students to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to identify publications on teacher competence in madrasah education and describe this research's characteristics. The bibliometric analysis method was used in this study. The results showed that publications on teacher competency in madrasahs/schools increased yearly from 2017 to 2020. The highest number of documents was at the institution or university "Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta" with six documents, in the journal "JIP Scientific Journal PGMI" with 85 documents, and one article in the Journal of Research and Thought on Islamic Education (JRTIE) entitled "Strengthening new literacy for primary school teachers in responding to the challenges of the industrial revolution era 4.0". The focus of the first research was observation and management. The second research focus was social competency and teacher competency. The third research focus was development and implementation. The new theme keywords are planning, preparation, elementary school, and lesson plan. That is, the keywords with the latest theme can be used as a novelty for further research that wants to research related to this field.

Abstract

Leadership is not only about ordering or giving instructions but also involves motivating, inspiring, and influencing others to achieve common goals. Leadership can occur in a variety of fields, including business, politics, and education, and plays a critical role in the success of an organization or community. This research aims to identify publications related to leadership in Islamic education and describe the characteristics of this research. The bibliometric analysis method was used in this study. The research results show that publications about leadership in Islamic schools have increased yearly from 2019 to 2023—meanwhile, the largest number of documents come from Indonesian authors. Proceedings of the ICECRS hold the top position as an institution or publisher with the most four documents. In contrast, the author with the most citations is Firman-Mansir, with a total of 3 published documents and eight citations, followed by the writer Eugenie A Samier with a total of 3 and 5 citations of published papers and followed by writer Fitriyah with a total of 3 published documents and two citations. Keywords that appear a lot in joint events are Education, Islam, Institution, Approach, Leader, Development, Activity, Quality, Teacher and Problem. The new theme keywords are Strategy, Community, Skill, Creativity, Facility, Decision, Generation, Innovation, and Prophetic Leadership. Therefore, these new themes can become new material for further research that addresses this field.

Abstract

Halal food is a category of food or beverage that Muslims may consume according to Islamic law. Halal cuisine must also adhere to strict standards of sanitation and hygiene, which makes it noted for its cleanliness and higher quality. This study utilised a systematic review on halal food marketing scopus database from 2021-2023. In this research, the keyword used is "Halal Food Marketing" in the Scopus database. After conducting the screening, the researchers found 11 articles that met the predetermined criteria. Several research focuses on halal food marketing, namely intention to purchase, halal cosmetics, millennials, religiosity, halal food consumption, Halal brand image, Halal brand satisfaction, Halal brand trust, Halal brand equity, Customer attitude, Product attributes, Marketing stimuli, Halal food , Halal Tourism, halal, marketing, perceived risk, value, trust, purchase intention, product, Halal market, Islamic hospitality, Muslim traveler, Muslim-minority country, Halal hotel, Halal-friendly hotel, Islamic hotel branding, Relational value, utility value, Halal brand resonance, Halal brand relationship quality, supply chain integration, demand for halal products, halal marketing, process quality improvement, food safety concerns, health consciousness on sustainable product performance, Halal foods, Performance, Drivers, and Key success factors. Abstract

Project-based learning encourages students to develop collaboration, communication, problem solving, critical, and creativity skills. This model is widely used at the level of educational units such as junior secondary education and upper secondary education and even higher education. The aim of this research is to capture the research landscape related to Project-Based Learning in high school. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The data is obtained from the enhanced Scopus database. The results showed that the number of publications related to Project-Based Learning in high school increased every year from 2017 to 2022. The highest number of documents were in Indonesia and the United States, the highest number of documents were in institutions or universities in Indonesia. The research focuses are 1) Problem-Based Learning and Student; 2) Project-Based Learning, e-learning and STEM; 3) high school and inquiry based discovery learning.

Abstract

Character education is an educational process that seeks to shape a person's personality or character in order to instill them with moral ideals, ethics, and positive attitudes. Character education focuses not just on academics, but also on the development of personality traits such as attitudes, values, morality, empathy, cooperation, and creativity. Objective study This that is to find out trends and identify publications related to character education in elementary schools, and visualize them. The research method used is a bibliometric method or analysis related to character education in elementary schools. The analysis used is evaluative and descriptive bibliographic analysis. The subjects in this study were 164 publications collected from the database dimensions according to the specified keywords . The results of the study show that the number of publications related to character education in elementary schools in Indonesia has increased in recent years, starting from 2017 to 2021. The highest number of documents is at the institution or university "Indonesia University of Education” with 6 documents, in the journal “Journal of Physics Conference Series” with 5 documents, then in an article (Suriansyah, 2015) with the title “Leadership Strategies of Principals, Teachers, Parents, and Communities in Shaping Student Character”. character Building is the most widely used character education keyword together with 133 events, keywords with new themes such as “character education” is not directly related to the keyword “govermnet”. This means that new themes and keywords that are not directly related can be useful for further research that wants to research related to this field.
