Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of service through the variable tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, and empathy, to customer satisfaction PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch of Banjarmasin. This study is a qualitative study using data from questionnaires completed by a sample of 150 samples of the total number of service users PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch of Banjarmasin period from January to June 2015. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, with testing through Test f, t Test and Test Coefficient of Determination (R2). The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the five dimensions of service quality that is tested through variable tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, and empathy, influence on customer satisfaction PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch of Banjarmasin with level of significant 5%.

Abstract

Gold jewelry is the type of products that are most frequently encountered in everyday life, many things that make someone decide to buy gold jewelry, this study aimed to analyze the factors that influence purchasing decisions gold jewelery, where environmental factors, psychological and individuals in hypothesize influence the purchasing decisions of gold jewelry. The population used is the buyers of gold jewelry in the city of Banjarmasin, 220 respondents drawn using purposive sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is the examination of the structural equation model to test the hypothesis by using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with statistical analysis tools AMOS 18. These results indicate that environmental factors have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, psychological factors significantly influence purchasing decisions and the individual factors also significantly influence the purchasing decisions of gold jewelry in the city of Banjarmasin. Based on this research, the advice of research that can be done is that marketers can consider psychological factors as a marketing strategy, especially in Banjarmasin. Based on the research development agenda of future research should examine other variables that have not been studied and is also directed at the sample and area larger studies eg all South Kalimantan region or on different objects such as agate, diamonds or other.

Abstract

Customers purchasing products is the main goal of marketing, so that factors that influence purchasing decisions are important to be known. This study aims to analyze factors that influence motorcyle purchasing decisions. It is hypothesized that external factors, internal factors and lifestyle influence motorcyle purchase decisions. The population used in this research was motorcycle buyers in the city of Banjarmasin. 150 respondents were taken as samples using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. The analysis technique used in this research is a structural equation model (SEM) and the hypothesis is tested by using statistical analysis with 18.0 AMOS program. The results of this study indicate that (1) external factors have direct and significant effect on purchasing decisions; (2) internal factors have direct and significant effect on lifestyle; (3) internal factors influence the purchase decision through lifestyle; and (4) lifestyle has direct and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the research results, it is suggested that external factors have the most dominant direct influence toward the purchasing decisions and the variables that have highest index are marketing activities with dimensions of price, product, promotion, and marketing place, so that the variable of the marketer should focus and pay deeper attention to the marketing strategies, but still considering the external and internal factors. Lifestyle factor with the indicators of activities, interest, and opinions have a strong influence to the purchasing desicion. This can help companies to match suitable products that are going to be sold with the lifestyle of the consumers

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify and analyze the effects of transformational leadership and job satisfaction simultaneosly and partially on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of the lecturers of STIE Indonesia Banjarmasin. This type of the research is a quantitative explanatory research with a population of 35 people, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and data collection technique applied by using questionnaires. Respondents who returned the questionnaire were 30 lecturers of STIE Indonesia Banjarmasin. The instrument used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression by utilizing SPSS software ver.18.0. The result of this study showed that (1) the variables of transformational leadership and job satisfaction simultaneously influence the OCB of the lecturers of STIE Indonesia Banjarmasin, (2) the transformational leadership has no effect on the OCB, and (3) job satisfaction has effects on the OCB of the lecturers of STIE Indonesia Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the Price Earning Ratio (PER), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt Total Asset (DTA), Current Ratio (CR) and Price to Book Value (PBV) on the stock price of mining industry and basic industry registered at the Indonesian Stock Exchangw in 2009-2011. The sampling method used was purposive sampling by selecting samples based on certain criteria. The objects which became the samples were 37 companies from 77 companies in the period of 2009-2011 so that the number of the companies were 111. The research used linear multiple regression analysis. The result of this research showed that the Price Earning Ratio (PER), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt Total Asset (DTA), Current Ratio (CR) and Price to Book Value (PBV) simultaneously affected the stock price of mining industry and basic industry for the period 2009-2011. The result of this research partially showed that Return on Equity (ROE),Current Ratio (CR) and Price to Book Value (PBV) affected the stock price.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to map the creative industries in the wetlands in the province of South Kalimantan. Specifically, the purpose of this study was to determine the potential, the bottleneck problem and strategize the development of creative industries Data analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The analysis technique used ie scoring, cross tab analysis, and SWOT analysis to determine the position of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and constraints. Mapping results indicate that there is excellent potential or core competencies in the area of creative industries in South Kalimantan, namely handicrafts, architecture, art and antiques market. Some of the key issues in the development of creative industries in South Kalimantan province, the capital, production, and business management, and marketing. The concept and strategic approach to the development of creative industries in South Kalimantan province namely the need to 1) the strengthening of the capital, 2) an increase in machinery and equipment production in some industries, 3) human resource development through training, business management, internships, promotion and marketing information products, 4) increase the competitiveness of the industry through education and training activities of design, trademarks and registration of industrial patents, 5) establish partnerships and collaboration with academia, bureaucracy and government, and 6) carried out a study on some of the excellent products of creative industries gradually.

Abstract

The research objective is: To analyze the effect of brand image with the mobile phone purchasing decisions Samsung brand in Banjarmasin. Kind of explanatory research, the sampling technique using a non-probability sampling with the number of respondents as many as 100 people a brand of mobile phone users samsungdi Banjarmasin. The research instrument used questionnaires and measurements with a variable interval scale characteristics of the respondents is the Samsung brand mobile phone users in Singapore. The firm (X1), Other organizations (X2), Evoked universe (X3), Attributes (X4), Benefits (X5) and Attitudes (X6) as independent variables to be tested simultaneously (Simultaneous) and (Partial) influence on purchase decision , The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by using analytical tools such as validity, reliability, and multiple regression analysis with the classical assumption using multicolinierity test, test heterokedastisitas, test for normality and linearity test, to test the hypothesis by using test of F and test t with IBM SPSS version 23 program. The study states that the universe Evoked (X3), Benefits (X5) and Attitudes (X6) significant positive effect on purchase decisions (Y). While the firm (X1), Other organizations (X2), Attributes (X4) did not significantly influence the purchase decision (Y)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct effects on profitability, taxes and growth opportunity on firm value as well as the indirect influence for profitability, tax and growth opportunity to firm value through a capital structure oncompanies and mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2014 period. The results showed that (i) profitability and growth opportunity hada positive effect on the capital structure, (ii) taxes hada negative effect on the capital structure, (iii) profitability and capital structure hada positive effect on firm value, (iv) taxes and growth opportunity hadno effect on firm value, (v) profitability and growth opportunity affected firm value through a capital structure as an intervening variable.Multinational companies and mining companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange tried to use external funding to run their operations to shrink the tax paid in order to obtain large profits and to increase firm value.

Abstract

This study aimed to identif and analyze the influence of Works Stress (X1) as independen variable and Job satisfaction (Z) as intervening variable either employee performance (Y) as the dependent variable on the employee off PT Panin Bank Banjarmasin TBK.This was explanatory research with unit analysis of PT Panin Bank Banjarmasin. The sampling technique used in study was stratified sampling with 102 employee. Measurement of variables is done by using likert scale technique with weight scale from 1 to 5. Path Analysis were used to analyze the effect of work stress among variables (X1) and Job Satisfaction (Z) on employee performance (Y). Furthermore, to test the level of significance with SPSS version 22 used. The study concluded that two independent variables simultaneously, namely work stress (X1) with job Satisfaction variables (Z) have significant relationship to employee performance (Y). Meanwhile, individually, job satisfaction variable (Z) has significant positive relationship on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is twofold. First, assess the feasibility of seaweed cultivation. Second, identify the key internal and external factors affecting the cultivation of seaweed. The hope can be formulated business development strategy to be applied seaweed cultivators. The method used in this study is a research approach that is both quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis to describe and analyze the prospects, potential and direction of development of seaweed cultivation. Data collection was conducted through a survey directly to businesses through the research questionnaire and also through interviews and discussion groups (Focus Group Discussion /FGD) with farmers. The results of the feasibility assessment methods NPV, Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), IRR, Payback Period and BEP show that seaweed cultivation is feasible. SWOT assessment results show that the cultivation is in quadrant S-O (Strength-Opportunity), so that strategies can be done is Aggressive. This means that the powers that be should seek to take advantage of existing opportunities. Some do like: seaweed produces higher quality and made of processed seaweed products such as candy and dodol seaweed. The market for both types of products is relatively large. Some stakeholders can help farmers master the necessary skills.
