Abstract

Tulisan ini berbicara tentang rancang bangun filsafat ilmu keislaman yang perlu dikembangkan oleh PTAI berbasis pesantren yang semakin hari semakin banyak jumlahnya. Ide pokoknya adalah pengakuran dan penjalinan hubungan kerjasama antara tradisi pesantren dan tradisi PTAI dengan riset sebagai jantung atau basis akademiknya. Dengan rancang bangun filsafat ilmu keislaman yang berparadigma integrasi-interkoneksi tersebut, PTAI riset berbasis pesantren di satu sisi memang dituntut untuk merekonstruksi ulang secara mendasar bangunan keilmuan, sistem akademik, dan manajemen kelembagaannya. Namun, di sisi yang lain, hal itu merupakan langkah strategis yang tidak bisa ditawar-tawar lagi jika ingin merevitalisasi peran fungsional PTAI riset berbasis pesantren, meliputi visi, profil lulusan, sistem akademik, dan sebagainya. Sudah barang tentu, semuanya harus dirumuskan secara lebih mendetail dalam suatu naskah akademik yang melibatkan secara aktif stakeholders institusi yang terkait dan pesantren secara integratif-interkonektif sebagai pusat transformasi ilmu pengetahuan dan agen transformasi sosiAl budaya bagi kehidupan masyarakat dewasa ini dan di masa depan.This article discusses about the design of Islamic science philosophy that is needed to be developed by Islamic Colleges (PTAI) with Islamic Boarding School (pesantren) base which is increasingly numerous. Its main idea is the measuring and building the relation of cooperation between the Islamic Boarding School and Islamic Colleges tradition with the research as the academic base. By designing Islamic science philosophy with integrated interconnection paradigm, in one hand, the Islamic Boarding School base research of Islamic Colleges is claimed to reconstruct fundamentally the scientific knowledge building, academic system, and its institution management. In another hand, this case is the strategic action that cannot be negotiable to revitalize the functional role of Islamic Boarding School base research of Islamic Colleges, included vision, graduate profile, academic system, etc. Surely, everything must be formulated accurately in an academic manuscript which involves the institution stakeholders actively and Islamic Boarding School by means of integrated-interconnectivity as the center of science transformation and the agent of social-culture for the nowadays and future society life.

Abstract

The unpresendented presence of Pandemic Covid 19 in the beginning of 2020 has almost paralyzed the world of global education, including Indonesia’s Islamic education as one of the biggest Islamic education systems in the world. Anticipating the possibility of similar incidents in the future, the Indonesia’s Islamic education needs to redesign its learning approach in order to create a new learning model that is more resilient, and meet the needs and the demands of Industri 4.0: Education 4.0. Unlike the conventional approache having been used so far, this new desired approach departs from a paradigm that places the students at the center of learning with the involvement of the use of on-line classes to explore them to the fullest. Philosophically, there is a resemblance of Education 4.0 orientation to the Islamic education’s concept of ‘cradle-to-grave learning’, which emphasizes the creation of life-long learners and teachers to enable them to play positive and constructive roles in today work environment and in the innovative society in general. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this paper seeks to examine the the urgency and the readiness of the Indonesia’s Islamic Education to tansform into education 4.0 and its crusial challenges in facing this demand.

Abstract

Through transformational leadership, pesantren are able to make institutional changes to achieve success. Because this leadership style can build a strong organizational culture for the effectiveness of Islamic education in pesantren. Therefore, KHMA in PNIA is very effective in carrying out the construction of pesantren culture and shapes the behavior of all pesantren human resources. Therefore, this research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type; which aims to identify and analyze the kiai's transformational leadership style in building an organizational culture in pesantren. The theoretical framework used to analyze the dynamics of the kiai's leadership is the paradigm of Bass & Riggio. He divided the four dimensions of transformational leadership, i.e: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual motivation, and individual consideration. This research found KHMA constructs pesantren culture by taking from the thoughts of ulama' salaf which are contained in the book of salaf -which is commonly called Kitab Kuning. On the one hand, the effectiveness of KHMA's self-leadership in PNIA is also inseparable from the normative doctrinal values of Islam, so that the kiai's leadership style is based on Islamic values. The implication is that the construction of organizational culture ranging from a philosophical framework to the practical values of pesantren needs to be bound by the basis of social-religious transformation. Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan keuangan publik merupakan amanah yang harus diemban dengan penuh tanggung jawab. Problematika menyangkut pengelolaan keuangan publik harus segera dituntaskan dengan menerapkan aneka alternatif solusi, baik didasarkan pada studi teoretis, empiris maupun normatif. Tulisan ini bermaksud menyingkap kandungan al-Qur’an terkait mekanisme pengelolaan keuangan publik melalui operasionalisasi metode tafsir tarbawi yang melibatkan tiga tahap teknik analisis, yaitu kebahasaan (lughawi), isi (tahlili) dan kependidikan (tarbawi). Signifikansi studi normatif ini adalah memberikan nuansa aksiologis, sehingga pengelolaan keuangan publik didasarkan pada pertimbangan halal-haram, adil-zhalim, baik-buruk, maslahat-mafsadat, dan sistem nilai Islami lainnya. Nuansa aksiologis inilah yang menjadi distinction antara pengelolaan keuangan publik yang Islami dengan yang non-Islami. Mekanisme Qur’ani pengelolaan keuangan publik yang ditawarkan dalam tulisan ini memuat tiga hal pokok. Pertama, pentingnya relasi korelatif yang harmonis antara pihak pengelola (imam) dengan publik (umat) dalam implementasi kebijakan yang baik, dengan didasarkan pada prinsip good governance, melalui program-program dinamis-kontekstual berbasis kerjasama Islami (ta’awun dan musyarakah) yang melibatkan pihak pengelola dengan publik. Kedua, implementasi sikap moderat melalui tiga model aktivitas ekonomi, yaitu pengelola menyeimbangkan aspek sosial-insaniyah dan spiritual-ilahiah dalam pengelolaan keuangan publik; pengelola terlibat aktif dalam realisasi fungsi sosial keuangan bagi publik; serta pengelola menjadi teladan (role model) bagi publik dalam hal gaya hidup hemat. Ketiga, pengelola meneladani empat kompetensi utama Nabi Yusuf AS yang terbukti berhasil menjalankan amanah sebagai pengelola keuangan publik, yaitu kompetensi Makin (berwenang), Amin (terpercaya), Hafizh (hemat) dan ‘Alim (cermat). Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan, Keuangan, Publik, dan Qur’ani Abstract Public finance management is a duty that must be carried on with full responsibility. Problematics concerning public finance management must be resolved by applying a variety of alternative solutions, based on theoretical, empirical and normative studies. This paper aims to examine the verses of the Holy Qur'an that related to public finance management. This paper based on Tafsir Tarbawi method that involves language analysis (lughawi), content analysis (tahlili) and Islam education analysis (tarbawi). The significance of this research is to provide an axiological shades, so that the public finance management always consider halal-haram, fair-unfair, good-bad, advantage-disadvantage, and other Islamic value system. This axiological shades is the distinction between Islamic and non-Islamic public finance management. This paper proposes three main points of Qur’anic mechanism of public finance management. First, the importance of harmonious relationship between government (imam) and public (ummah). Therefore, government have to manage public finance based on the principle of good governance, through implementation of Islamic cooperation programs (ta’awun and musyarakah) between government and public. Second, implementation of moderate life style on economic activities through three models: government have to balance social and spiritual aspects in public finance management; government actively attempt to realize social functions of public finance; and government become a role model for public in terms of frugal lifestyle. Third, goverment emulate the four core competencies of Prophet Joseph. He is a role model of successful figure in terms of public finance management, because of his competencies, those are Makin (competent authorities), Amin (trustworthy), Hafiz (protector) and ‘Alim (knowledgeable). Abstract

Pola keberagamaan yang terbuka dan toleran pada dasarnya merupakan salah satu karakter dari ajaran Islam yang bersifat universal. Keterbukaan dan toleransi ini merupakan ajaran yang tidak hanya berlaku pada masa tertentu atau suatu tempat saja, melainkan melampaui keduanya. Namun demikian, fakta sejarah telah menyadarkan kita bahwa pernah terjadi proses pemasungan (penyempitan) universalitas ajaran Islam, sehingga karakter ajaran yang semula inklusif-toleran berubah menjadi apriori-diskriminatif. Bahkan di tangan beberapa orang ajaran tersebut telah diramu menjadi doktrin agama yang eksklusif– intoleran. Artikel ini akan mengurai persoalan tersebut dan menawarkan upaya pembacaan ulang terhadap doktrin agama yang tidak relevan dengan semangat Islam rahmatan lil al-alamin.The opened and tolerant pattern of religiousity is basically one of the characteritics of universal Islamic teachings. The openness and tolerance are tenets that are not only prevalent to a certain time and place, but also they are passing beyond both. However, the historical fact has brought us that there has been a constriction process in the universality of Islamic teaching. So that, the characteristic of Islamic teaching has changed from inclusive-tolerance to a priory-discriminative. Moreover, to certain people, this Islamic teaching has been turned into an exclusive-intolerance religious doctrine. This article elaborates the issue and offers a concept rereading the religious doctrine that is not relevance to the spirit of universality of Islam (rahmatan li al-'alamin).

Abstract

Artikel ini diawali dengan penjelasan pengertian gender. Perbedaan istilah seks dan gender sangat mendasar yaitu seks lebih bersifat alamiah yang tidak dapat berubah sepanjang hidup, sedangkan gender mengambil peran dalam area sosial di masyarakat. Dalam hal gender, banyak persoalan yang sangat dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Misalnya, fenomena ketidakadilan gender, berkaitan erat dengan doktrin agama yang selama ini dipahami secara sempit oleh tokoh, dan sebagian besar masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan studi pustaka untuk menjawab kegelisahan akademiknya seputar keadilan gender. Hasil penelitiannya disampaikan secara deskriptif analitis. Peneliti menemukan wacana gender semarak di dunia Barat, disebabkan karena perubahan pola sosial, terutama semenjak terjadinya revolusi industri. Sebuah perjuangan antar kelas (class struggle), yakni antara kaum perempuan sebagai sebuah kelompok sosial melawan kelompok sosial yang lainnya, yaitu kaum lelaki dengan tujuan untuk mencapai kesejajaran. Semangat gender ini sesungguhnya berkaitan dengan persoalan kemajuan perempuan dan tercapainya kesetaraan antara perempuan dengan laki-laki. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa melalui pemahaman gender maka dampak pembangunan terhadap kehidupan perempuan dan laki-laki tidak akan berbeda, sebab ketimpangan status sosial bukan sekedar bersumber pada persoalan seks tetapi seluruh nilai sosial budaya yang hidup dalam masyarakat turut memberikan andil. This article begins with introducing meaning of gender. Distinction both term of sex and gender, sex is more unadorned which could not change for long away, while gender plays role in social area in society. In the line of gender, gender’s problems profoundly close with daily life. For instance, injustice gender phenomenon deals with dogmas of religion which were understood narrowly by scholars and mostly the publics. The researcher uses literature review to answer his academic anxiety around justice of gender. The result of this paper is passed on by descriptive analysis. The writer finds gender discussion in western lively, it is caused since changging ofsocial patterns particulary at beggining of revolusion industry. A struglle betwen classes (class struggle), that is women as a social group opposes other social groups, namely men are having a goal to achieve alignment. Spirit of gender deals indeed with women progress and achieving alignment between women and men. The conclusion of this study is by understanding gender, a crash emerges toward development of women and men live would not differ, since dispropostion of social status does not originate from the matter of sex, but cultural social value which exists in society also gives the contribution.

Abstract

Family case settlement in the religious court often does not run effectively and efficiently due to some judicial constraints in the level of absolute competence, event law, and material law. This paper seeks to describe some notes related to divorce settlement due to the domestic violence in the religious court. The data was collected through the observation of the trial and the reading of the verdicts on several divorce cases of domestic violence in metro religious court in 2016-2018. The findings suggest that justice for women could only be gained at a formal legal level, while the desired substantive justice has not yet been achieved. The constraints occur in such stages as submission, case handling, and the verdict. The gender perspective of justice case handling and the judges’ courage of the religious court to deliver ultra petitum verdicts are a legal breakthrough in order to realize substantive justice in resolving family conflicts. Abstract

Abstract Conflict becomes part of contemporary phenomena that embraces all dimensions of human life, starting from the level of individuals, society, to relations between countries. Conflict in all of its variety, both economic, political conflicts, even conflicts between civilizations, cannot be separated from the "on-name" religion. Islam which teaches love and peace is distorted into Islam that teaches conflict. Islamic education in a broad context is responsible for the formation of logical thinking of humans who like to spread terror and conflict. This paper examines how the Sufism approach in Islamic education plays its part as the Islamic tradition that teaches Islam in the form of love and spreads Peaceful Islam and has A peace of mind with research Library research that uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques with the results of research that is mystical approach in Islamic education fundamental alternatives in order to reduce conflict and bring peace. Abstrak Konfik menjadi bagian dari fenomena kontemporer yang melanda seluruh dimensi kehidupan manusia, mulai dari tingkat individu, masyarakat, sampai hubungan antar negara. Konflik dalam ragam rupanya, baik konflik ekonomi, politik, bahkan konflik antar peradaban, tidak bisa dilepaskan dari “atas-nama” agama. Islam yang mengajarkan cinta kasih dan perdamaian didistorsi menjadi Islam yang mengajarkan konflik. Pendidikan Islam dalam konteks yang luas bertanggungjawab atas terbentuknya nalar berpikir manusia yang suka menebar teror dan konflik. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana pendekatan sufisme dalam pendidikan islam menjadi bagian dari tradisi Islam yang mengajarkan Islam dalam rupa cinta kasih dan menebarkan Islam Damai dan berwawasan perdamaian dengan jenis penelitian Library research yang menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan hasil penelitian yaitu pendekatan sufistik dalam pendidikan Islam adalah alternatif fundamental dalam rangka mengurangi konflik dan mewujudkan perdamaian bangsa. Salah satu teladan prakteknya dapat dilihat dari ulama-ulama Nusantara. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Islam, Perdamaian, and Sufisme.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mempresentasikan etnografi razia penegakan syariat Islam di Langsa, Aceh. Studi berargumen bahwa razia syariat Islam merupakan salah satu bentuk perayaan kuasa agama oleh negara yang berkontribusi terhadap reproduksi intoleransi dan kekerasan dalam beragama. Data yang digunakan bersumber dari studi etnografis di Langsa pada semester kedua tahun 2012. Pertama-tama saya akan menyajikan tinjauan umum tentang Dinas Syariat Islam (DSI) dan Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) serta posisinya sebagai institusi yang memiliki otoritas tidak hanya untuk mendefinisikan moralitas publik, tetapi terkadang juga bertindak represif melalui razia syariat Islam di Aceh. Pemaparan menunjukkan represi tersebut melalui catatan etnografis tentang razia khalwat dan pakaian ketat di Langsa. Tulisan pada akhirnya memperlihatkan gosip sebagai salah satu bentuk resistensi kreatif terhadap represi yang dilakukan negara dan elite agama di Langsa dengan mengatas-namakan penegakan syariat Islam. This paper presents the ethnography of Sharia’ enforcement raids in Langsa, Aceh. It presents the argument that Sharia’ enforcement raids is one of religious power celebrations by the state that contribute towards intolerance reproduction and violence in religion. Ethnographic data were obtained from field reseach in Langsa in the second half of 2012. First of all, I presented an overview on the State Shari’a Agency (Dinas Syariat Islam) and the “Shari’a Police” (Wilayatul Hisbah) as well as their positions as institutions which had not only the authority in defining public morality, but also repressing Sharia’ enforcement raids in Aceh. Exposure of this study showed there was repression through ethnographic records about the roadside WH inspection on khalwat and dress code as the enforcement of Shari’a norms of public morality in Langsa. Finally, this paper highlighted that gossip was a form of creative resistance against repression by the State and the religious elites concerning Sharia’ enforcement in Langsa.

Abstract

Allah menciptakan manusia antara lain adalah sebagai khalifah di muka bumi. Berkaitan dengan konsep ini, maka manusia berkewajiban memelihara dan melestarikan lingkungan. Namun, tidak jarang manusia malah merusaka alam dan lingkungan. Hal ini tentunya bertentangan dengan tugas dan fusngsinya sebagai khalifah. Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi hakikat penciptaan mausa dan urgensinya dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Kajian dalam tulisan ini mengacu pada perspektif al-Quran. Berdasarkan kajian yang penulis lakukan dapat didapat kesimpulan bahwa hakekat penciptaan manusia tidak dapat dipisahkan dari alam semesta dan lingkungannya. Salah satu tugas penting yang diamanahkan kepada manusia adalah tugasnya sebagai khalfatullah di muka bumi. Prinsip amanat yang dibebankan kepada manusia sebagai khalifah di muka bumi menghendaki adanya cobaan, ujian dan medan pergulatan antara kebajikan dan keburukan. Manusia diciptakan untuk mengarungi kehidupan dan melaksanakan tugas kekhalifahannya terkait dengan pelestarian alam semesta baik bagi manusia maupun lingkungannya baik di laut, di darat maupun di udara. Manusia di lahirkan ke dunia dibekali dengan kemampuan/ daya cipta, rasa, karsa karya dan daya taqwa. Dalam kaitannya dengan lingkungan, daya tersebut merupakan fungsi eksekutif dalam jiwa manusia. Daya disebut akan mendorong timbulnya pelaksanaan doktrin serta ajaran agama dalam mengemban tugas kekhalifahan dan khususnya dalam pelaksanaan tugas dan tanggungjawab terhadap pelestarian lingkungan alam semesta. The essence of human creation cannot be separated from the universe and its environment. One of the important tasks entrusted to human beings is their duty as khalfatullah on the earth. The principle of the duties assigned to humans as vicegerent on earth leads for hurdle, temptation and struggles between virtues and evils. Humans were created to live and carry out duties related to the preservation the nature of universe for both humans and the environment such as the sea, the land and the air. It has been stressed by Allah in the Quran that the damage in the land and sea was actually caused by human hands. In this context as an-Nas and Bani Adam, to describe the universal values that exist in every human being regardless of background differences in gender, race and ethnicity or their respective faiths, human being born into the world equipped with the ability/ creativity, feeling, creation and faith. Related to the environment, those values are the most executive function in the human soul.
