Abstract

This study aims to determine the challenges of the As-Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Pulo Air Sukabumi during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were collected by using observation, interview, field observation, and document study techniques. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation and referential adequacy. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study revealed that the Pulo Air Sukabumi Islamic Boarding School took several appropriate steps in dealing with these challenges, including equating perceptions among Foundation management, implementing budget efficiency, conducting education and training for teachers/clerics in the field of online technology application skills, preparing hardware and shower. needed for online and offline learning, motivating all existing personnel to do something best for the benefit of the pesantren to survive during this pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategy of having a master's in implementing the Cambridge curriculum to shep student’s potential to compete globally at SMP Thursina Internasional Islamic Boarding School Malang. The focuses of the study involve (1) the characteristics of students’ potential for international competitions. (2) the strategy from hand master in implementing Cambridge curriculum to establish students in competing Globally. (3) the model of strategy from the headmaster in implementing the Cambridge curriculum to establish students to compete Globally. The findings show that 1) the characteristics of students with good potential to compete Globally can be observed from the foreign language proficiency, academic achievement for both national and international levels, and kind of Extracurricular program provided. (2) strategy in implementing Cambridge curriculum through the application of management function which includes: planning, organization, implementation, and Evaluation. 3) model of strategy from headmaster in implementing Cambridge curriculum implementation and overseas program, Quality Control, and human resource research.

Abstract

Perceptions of organizational justice are often justified in different ways by each lecturer from all higher education institutions, especially at the Takengon State Islamic Institute. This study will examine the level of differentiation in the perception of organizational justice based on the demographic characteristics of the lecturers of the Takengon State Islamic Institute. The population in this study amounted to 141 with a sample of 59 lecturers whose sampling technique used simple random sampling. The research approach used is quantitative with non-parametric statistical analysis methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be found a level of differentiation of organizational justice based on the predictor of gender with a significance value of 0.034. Meanwhile, the predictors of demographic characteristics of age, tenure, position status, education level, and employment status did not have a significant level of differentiation with values ​​of 0.408, 0.432, 0.468, 0.331, and 0.791. It can be concluded that the predictor of gender has a significant level of differentiation from the perception of organizational justice of the lecturers of the Takengon State Islamic Institute.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that have been recognized through law No. 20 of 2003 and also have an obligation to contribute to achieving national education goals. This study aims to describe the implementation of integrated quality management in Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School Sumenep by using a qualitative approach as well as interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that the main vision of the Al-Falah Sumenep Islamic Boarding School is to produce community leaders (mundirul-qoum) with five souls, namely the soul of sincerity, independence, simplicity, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and the spirit of freedom. All activities are designed for the benefit of students as the main input (raw input) in education. learning at the Al-Falah Islamic boarding school Sumenep is designed with a 24-hour learning model, while curricular learning is carried out classically. Teachers or teachers at the Al-Falah Sumenep Islamic Boarding School were recruited from Al-Falah Sumenep alumni themselves with several criteria, namely scientific competence, teaching competence, and personality. A thorough evaluation was carried out on Thursday and led directly by the leadership of the Al-Falah Sumenep Islamic boarding school followed by all teachers to ensure that the activities and activities of the pesantren went according to plan.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the form of the kiai's spiritual leadership values, as well as their relation to the competence to read and understand the yellow book of santri at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic boarding school, Pondok Wuluh Leces Probolinggo. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques and triangulation techniques. Informants in this study were kiai, boarding school administrators, students, and guardians of students. The results showed that: 1) The form of the kiai's spiritual leadership values ​​included true honesty, justice, good deeds, discipline but still flexibility, and humility; 2) The relationship of the kiai's spiritual leadership with the competence to read and understand the yellow book of santri, namely the kiai as a leader at the Islamic boarding school has full responsibility in all pesantren programs, the kiai as a motivator who inspires students so that students have a disciplined character, are able to awaken the best in themselves, focus on the goal or have a strong desire, seek blessings, and riyaḍah.

Abstract

Learning resources are an important part of implementing the curriculum applied to an educational institution, this is because learning resources are able to foster enthusiasm and learning motivation for students and learning resources can help carry out learning activities optimally. The focus of this research is on 3 things, including the use of learning resources to support the implementation of the curriculum, a description of the success of implementing the curriculum as well as the constraints and alternatives. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. To determine the validity of the data, the researchers used triangulation of methods and sources so that the degree of validity was higher. The results of this study indicate that optimizing the use of learning resources is very necessary for teachers to achieve curriculum goals, such as the use of messages in stories, teachers as knowledge transfer media, online learning platforms, learning media, learning methods, and learning environments both physically and psychologically. The result of this utilization is that students achieve academic and non-academic achievements. When experiencing obstacles, teachers will immediately take advantage of other sources that are relevant and easily accessible. Teachers are advised to always optimize learning resources so that they are always effective and efficient and always up to date.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes teachers to carry out authentic assessments. Authentic assessment is an assessment that is actually carried out on students. The implementation of this authentic assessment emphasizes the process rather than the results. It is very important for teachers to carry out authentic assessments in the classroom and outside the classroom to students in order to know the progress of student learning. This study aims to analyze the obstacles and solutions of Madrasah mathematics teachers in the implementation of authentic assessments. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This study involved 4 Madrasah mathematics teachers, hereinafter referred to as research subjects. Data or information related to obstacles and solutions for implementing authentic assessments were obtained through interviews. The results of this study include: Madrasah mathematics teachers encounter obstacles in planning, implementing, and reporting authentic assessments. These obstacles can be solved with solutions: increasing professional competence, participating in various pieces of training, playing an active role in teacher consultation activities both with one madrasa teacher and with outside madrasa teachers, being active in scientific meetings, and further studies such as through teacher professional education and masters degree.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created intense competition in the world of education and has transformed the focus of education management from a simple way to serve the institutional education process, to a way to transform users of education services (user education) into customer education (customer education). Private educational institutions experienced a decrease in the number of students for the 2021-2022 school year due to the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic tested the marketing strategies of every educational institution. Schools that have the opportunity to survive are those that have strategies to create competitive and sustainable advantages. This research uses a qualitative approach with the design of case studies. The subjects of this study consisted of the Principal, Deputy Principal, teachers, administrative staff, parents of students and students. Data collection techniques include documentation studies, field observations and in-depth interviews. In this study to analyze data using Creswell's data analysis model. Partnership marketing strategies are considered the most appropriate to support school targets in acquiring new customers of educational services in the 2021/2022 school year. Abstract

Supervisi atau pengawasan dilaksanakan sebagai usaha dalam memastikan bahwa seluruh kegiatan berjalan sebagaimana mestinya sekaligus sebagai antisipasi ketika ada persoalan yang perlu ditindak lanjuti dengan serius. Dalam lembaga pendidikan sepervisi sebagai kontrol utama bagi kepala madrasah dalam memastikan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar menyesuaikan dengan tujuan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian ke MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan tentang implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan yang terdiri dari tiga fokus penelitian yaitu: 1) Bagaimana implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 2) Faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 3) Bagaimana dampak atau implikasi supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan.
