The research aim was improve students’ mathematical disposition and critical thinking ability on mathematical learning by using jurisprudential inquiry strategy. The research approach used in this study were qualitative and quantitative approach while the method used was Classroom Action Reseacrh, which conducted three cycles with research design including planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subject of research was the students of XI MO 4 class, one of vocational high school in sub district Majalaya, Bandung regency. The research instruments were observation sheets, formative tests, questionnaires, and journals. The test was analyzed by counting students’ absorption rate and classical absorption rate. While the questionnaire and observation using percentage. The result of this research shows that the mathematical learning by using Jurisprudential Inquiry Strategy was done well. Students’ mathematical dispositions and critical abilities increased after mathematical learning by using inquiry strategies, as well as positive students’ responses to mathematical learning by using Jurisprudential Inquiry Strategy.

This research is based on the students’ self regulation and mathematics learning result. One of alternative learning that can be applied to improve mathematics learning result of students is by using learning strategies of Self Regulated Learning. This study aims to determine the increase of learning outcomes of students with learning strategies Self-Regulated Learning and opinions of students referred to instructional strategies of Self Regulated Learning. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which refers to measure with a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were all students of class XI at a private vocational school in Bandung. The data collection instruments used consisted of pieces of observation, achievement test, questionnaire, and journals. In this research, the qualitative data obtained from observations, and daily journals. While quantitative data obtained from the questionnaires and tests of self-regulation learning outcomes of students. Data analysis of the observation sheet is by using the percentage of the daily journal while the questionnaire analysed by using Likert sale and achievement test using the calculation of the average value in one class. Based on observations analysis it was concludded that increased activity educators, daily journal analysis showed that learners have a positive opinion towards learning by using learning strategies of Self Regulated Learning. Meanwhile, the analysis of the achievement test increased after the implementation of learning strategies Self Regulated Learning.

During this pandemic, learning must be done online from home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, both students and educators who teach. Therefore, educators are required to innovate so that learning during this pandemic can achieve educational goals. One alternative that can be used by educators as a learning medium is Edpuzzle. This study aims to describe the application of Edpuzzle in learning mathematics and the response of students to the use of Edpuzzle. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The sample in this study were students of class XI private high school in the Cimahi area, West Java. Data analysis techniques with descriptions of test results and questionnaires. The results show that the use of Edpuzzle in mathematics learning is favored by students because it can foster interest in learning mathematics, but there are still negative responses from students due to the availability of gadget facilities and internet network constraints.

The research based on the low mathematical creative thinking ability. To overcome this problem. Student Teams AchievementDivision (STAD) which is assisted by comic media, can be an alternative cooperative learning model. This research examinedthe increasing problem of creative mathematical thinking ability after receive STAD cooperative learning model. This researchaims to figure out students response towards mathematic course. This research was a quasi-experimental research design withNon-Equivalent Control Group Design using purposive sampling technique. The population in this research was the seventhgrade of SMPN 18 Bandung in 2013/2014. The sample of this research was the students class VII-3 and VII-5. Aninstrument used in the study was ability of mathematical creative thinking test. Data acquired is analyzed both quantitativeand qualitative. Moreover, the data of pre-test, post-test, and n-gain are calculated by SPSS 21 for Windows. The resultshowed that, the increasing of students mathematical creative thinking ability who receive STAD cooperative learning modelassisted by comic media is better than students who receive conventional learning. Meanwhile, based on questionnaire analysis,conclusion can be drawn that students respond positively towards Mathematics course after using STAD cooperative learningmodel assisted by comic media.

This research was motivated by the low of student’s mathematical representation ability. The one of alternative learning that is applied to improve the mathematical representation ability of students by using Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) approach. This study aims to improve students’ mathematical representation abilities, as well as knowing students' responses to the learning process with the CPA approach. The research method was CAR which consist of planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The subject of this research was the students of class VII Ukhuwah MTs Al-Hijrah. Research instruments were include: student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, formative tests, questionnaires and journals. The results of the research were qualitative and quantitative datas. Qualitative data was obtained from student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, questionnaires, and journals. Quantitative datas includes formative tests carried out at the end of each cycle. The results of the formative test analysis showed that the mathematical representation ability of students using CPA approaches increased, and the activities of students with the CPA approach also increased. Based on the results of the journal and questionnaire the students responses positively to the learning process using the CPA approach.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem solving ability experienced by students so that a relevant learning model is needed to solve the problem, one of them is the Connected Mathematics Project model. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities through the Connected Mathematics Project learning model and how students respond to this learning model. This study was a quasi-experimental study in one of the junior high schools in Bandung district in 2018/2019. The samples in this study were students of class VII A and VII E. The instruments used in this study were tests of mathematical problem solving abilities, student questionnaires and observation sheets. Data obtained from the results of tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities were analyzed quantitatively, while data obtained from questionnaires and observation sheets were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research conducted showed that increasing the mathematical problem solving ability of students who use the Connected Mathematics Project learning model is better than students who use the Discovery Learning learning model and responds very well to the application of the Connected Mathematics Project model. Empirically it can be seen that the mathematical problem solving ability of students who obtain learning with the Connected Mathematics Project learning model is better than students who obtain learning with the Discovery Learning model and positive student responses.

Urgency of this research is implementation of constructivism based learning and Education for Suistainable Development(EfSD) that is by integrating constructivism based props with environmental issue in learning through discovery learningmodel learning. There’s a flood simulation tool created to improve the problem solving skills of learners on learningmathematics. The method in this research is experimental method by using quantitative approach, while the researchpopulation is all students of SMP YPU Bandung and sample of students study class VIII as much as two classes. Dataanalysis is done quantitatively. Quantitative analysis is performed on pre-test, post-test, and gains data normalized problemsolving abilities. Based on the analysts of the results of the study there are differences in the ability to solve mathematicalproblems among learners who learn with the model of discovery learning using the help of flood simulation aids and learnerswho learn with conventional learning, where the improvement of problem solving skills of mathematic learners who learnwith the help of simulation tools flood is better than learners who learn with conventional learning.

Seeing the education situation in Indonesia in the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of technology has a very significant role in connecting the interaction of educators and students for the distance teaching and learning process, we often call online learning (in the network). Currently the pandemic is a challenge in developing creativity in the use of technology, not only transmitting knowledge, but also how to ensure learning is conveyed properly. Educators need learning media to help the teaching and learning process. Technological developments have a positive impact on education, one of which is the use of Youtube as a medium of information. In this condition, Youtube can be used by educators as a learning medium. This learning media is packaged in the form of a video explaining mathematics material using conventional learning including material presentation, sample questions, working steps to solve math problems, and providing practice questions. The purpose of this paper is to use Youtube for distance learning and help students understand the learning material.

This research is motivated by the lack of student’s mathematical understanding ability. The alternative to evercome thatproblem is developing the teaching material of mathematics learning by the discovery learning models. The purpose of thisresearch is arranging and developing the material learning that is valid and practice, finding out whether the use of teachingmaterial that is developed effectivelly in improving VII grade student’s mathematical understanding ability, and finding outthe respons of students to teaching materials. The research used the Research and Development method, by modificatingSugiyono’s R D model in teaching and learning design. The population in this research is VII grade the students. Thesample is a classes of them, class VII K as the product trial class, and class VII H as the usage trial class. The instrumentin the research are questionnaire for students and teacher, test for students, and observation sheet. The result of the researchshows that the teaching materials are valid and effective to improve student’s. The student’s responses are positive to theprocess of teaching and learning.

The less mathematical critical ability of learners was the one of the problem that observed in this study.Probing Prompting model was the one of the alternative learning that can be applied to improve the mathematical critical ability of learners. The purpose of this study was to know the influence of increased the mathematical critical ability by using Probing Prompting learning model, and students' perceptions of assessment in mathematical learning. Non-equivalent control group design was used in this quarsi-experimental study. The research conducted in one of the Junior High Schools in Bandung Districts. The population of the study were all students in a second grade, the sample of this study werestudents of VIII E as experimental class and VIII B as the control class. Experimental class was applied the Probing Prompting learning model and the control class was applied the Discovery Learning model. Mathematical critical ability test, questionnaire, and observation sheet were the instruments of this study. The result of the study were qualitative and quantitative data. Depend on the analysis of the result, it can be concluded that Probing Prompting model has an influence in the learning process on improving mathematical critical abilityand the students’ perceptions of assessment in mathematical learning model was positive.
