Calculus is a must course of many major in higher education. It caused by calculus has a role as basic foundation of many theories and its application is used in many aspects of various majors. However, many students had difficulty to undersatand calculus course. Its difficulty was caused by calculus course could not been integrated with topics that was learned in each of majors. Solution of that problem is to integrated topics from various majors in calculus course and it can be done with STEM learning. STEM learning integrates science aspect (S), technology aspect (T), engineering aspect (E), and mathematics aspect (M) in learning process so it can makes calculus course to be more realistic so students can easily understand it.

This study aims to find out the feasibility of Edmodo-based learning media in mathematics lessons. The method in this research is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation.). data retrieval used in this study is with several instruments, namely expert sheets where researchers conduct product tests to media experts, material experts, and questionnaires to students to declare the feasibility of a product. The results of the research obtained a percentage of the ideals of content/material aspects from media experts by 73.3% means that the criteria are feasible, the material expert percentage of material aspects 72.5% means that the criteria are feasible and the learning aspect of 69.1% means that the criteria are feasible and the average of the responses of 10 students is worth 35 which means that the criteria are practical. Overall from the conclusion of the data obtained, the learning media based on Edmodo in mathematics subjects developed by researchers was declared feasible to use.Keywords : Edmodo, Mathematic education, Learning Media

The research was motivated by low students’ thinking ability. One of alternative that can be applied to improve students'metaphorical thinking ability was the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. The aims of this study was findout the improvement of students’ metaphorical thinking ability using RME approach compared with conventional learning,and students' response to mathematics learning using RME approach. The research method was quasi-experimental method,with non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted in one of the Private Junior HighSchools in Sumedang District. The research population was all students of class VIII, class VIII C as experimental classand VIII D as control class. RME approach was given to the experimental class, while conventional learning was given tothe control class. The instruments used were metaphorical thinking skills test, student's questionnaire, and observation sheetsof educator. The results of the research are qualitative and quantitative datas. Based on the analysis of metaphorical thinkingability test results obtained conclusion: improvement of students' metaphorical thinking ability by using RME approachbetter than students with conventional approach, and students’ respond positively to learning mathematics by using RMEapproach

This research was motivated by the low of students’ mathematical connection ability. Guided inquiry-based student worksheets was used as an alternative to improve students' ability. The purpose of this research was determine the effect of using guided inquiry-based student worksheets on students' mathematical connection ability in mathematics learning. The research was conducted in one of the state junior high school in the city of Bandung. The population in this study were all VII grade students, with the sample were VII 4 class students as the control class and VII 9 class as the experimental class. The instruments used were a matter of students’ mathematical connection ability test and observation sheet of educator activities. Based on the analysis of the Cohen's d test, it was concluded that the use of guided inquiry-based student worksheets affected students' mathematical connection ability.

The improve of problem solving skills and Self Regulated Learning of high school students through React Strategy (Relating,Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating and Transfering). Mathematics Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program at SultanAgeng Tirtayasa University. 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical problem solving abilities of studentswho obtained mathematics learning with the REACT strategy with students who obtained ordinary learning, improvement ofmathematical problem solving abilities of students who obtained mathematics learning with REACT strategies with students whoobtained regular learning, student Self Regulated Learning who get mathematics learning with REACT strategies with students whoget regular learning, and increase Self Regulated Learning of students who get mathematics learning with REACT strategies wit hstudents who get regular learning. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The results of the study revealed that(1) Mathematical problem solving abilities of students who get mathematics learning with REACT strategies are better than studentswho get ordinary learning, (2) Increased mathematical problem solving abilities of students who get mathematics learning with higherREACT strategies compared to students (3) Self Regulated Learning of students who get mathematics learning with REACTstrategies is better than students who get ordinary learning and, (4) Increased Self Regulated Learning of students who get mathematicslearning with a REACT strategy is higher than students who get mathematics. ordinary learning.

The learning process that is still dominated by the teacher by applying the procedural learning process and the assumption of some students that mathematics is a difficult and tedious lesson leads to low mathematical creative thinking ability and learning motivation for students. SQ3R learning model is an alternative learning model that can improve mathematical creative thinking ability and increase students' learning motivation to find meaning from what is learned in learning activities. The purpose of this study are (1) To find out the application of the SQ3R learning model can improve the mathematical creative thinking ability of grade VII students. (2) To find out the application of the SQ3R learning model can increase students' learning motivation. This research was conducted in SMP DUA MEI Banjaran in February - May 2018. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which lasted for two cycles. The research instruments used were observation sheets, learning motivation and test questionnaires. The results of this study indicate an increase in mathematical creative thinking ability and learning motivation of students. This can be seen from the average value of students' mathematics learning scores in the first cycle of 2.74 to 3.08 with the percentage of learning completeness of students in the first cycle of 48% to 91.67%, as well as the learning motivation of students feeling happy with mathematics is 66.44%, there is a willingness and awareness of mathematics learning at 64.53% and 69.40%, being independent by 52% and having a boost of 49%.

The purpose of this research is (1) to know the improvement of mathematical connection ability in the students who get thegeometry learning according to Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese culture approach compared with the students who getthe conventional learning. (2) to know the improvement of self efficacy in the students who get the geometry learning accordingto Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese cultural approach compared to the students who get the conventional learning. (3)to know the relationship between the ability of mathematical connection with self efficacy in the learning of geometry. Thisresearch is a quasi experimental design experiment using non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjectsof this study are the students of grade XI SMAN 1 Sukabumi and SMAN 3 Sukabumi academic year 2014/2015.The variable of this research consists of 2 variables, namely independent variables in the form of learning geometry accordingto van hiele theory with the approach of Sundanese culture and dependent variable in the form of mathematical connectionability and student self efficacy. Technique of collecting research data using mathematical connection ability test on geometrymaterial and self efficacy scale. Technical analysis of data in this study using inferential statistics which includes t-test sampleindependent and Pearson product moment correlation analysis. This test is done with the help of SPSS Version 20.00software. The results showed that the improvement of mathematical connection ability of students who acquired geometrylearning according to Van Hiele theory with the Sundanese culture approach differed significantly compared to students whoreceived conventional learning and increased self efficacy of students who acquired geometry learning according to Van Hieletheory with different Sundanese cultural approach significantly compared with students who received conventional learning,but there is no significant relationship between mathematical connection ability and self efficacy of students on learninggeometry.

This research is based on the low level mathematical understanding ability of students. One alternative learning model that can be applied to improve the mathematical understanding ability is the Take and Give model. The research objective is to find out: the improvement of students' mathematical understanding ability, Self Confidence of students towards the application of the Take and Give and Problem- based learning model. The method used is quasi-experimental method, with noneequivalent research design control group pretest - posttest design. The research was conducted in one of the State Junir High Schools in Bandung. The instrument used is a mathematical understanding ability test, and a Self Confidence student questionnaire. Based on the analysis of the results of the mathematical understanding ability test, it can be concluded that the increase in students' mathematical understanding ability using the Take and Give model as good as the students who use the Problem- based learning model. Take and Give model can have a positive effect on students Self Confidence.

Mathematics is a subject learned from pre-school to college. Nevertheless, many students consider mathematics difficult andboring. In reality mathematics is often found in everyday life. Even in culture even though learning mathematics is tucked away.The culture that is most familiar among students is the traditional game. One of these traditional games is “Gatric”. Playinggatrik means students have learned some activities in mathematics. The purpose of writing this paper is to show the mathematicalactivities that exist in the Gatric game. Gatrik is a traditional game that involves two players or more who use two pieces ofwood / wood that have different lengths. This paper is based on a literature review from some supporting literature. Literatureused as a supporting source is the result of research.

This research is based by the low of level of student’s interest in learning and students' critical thinking skills. One alternative can be applied to increase student’s interest in learning and students' critical thinking skills is Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) method. This research aims determine whether there is a positive influence on the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) method on student’s interest in learning and increase student’s critical thinking skills. The research population was students of class X Muhammadiyah 6 High School in Bandung District. The research sample was Muhammadiyah 6 Kertasari high school students in class X Mipa 1 and X Mipa 2. The research method used was a Quasi experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The instruments used are student’s interest questionnaire, students' critical thinking skills test, and ovservation sheet. The data analysis technique uses independent sample T-test and cohen’s d test. The results of the research are: 1) The Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model has a positive effect on student’s interest in learning 2) The Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) model has a positive effect on increasing students' critical thinking skills.
