SIMBOL adalah Jurnal STISIP Imam Bonjol merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Imam Bonjol untuk Bidang Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik. SIMBOL menampung banyak isu dan permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan ilmu administrasi publik dan pemerintahan. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini untuk menyebarluaskan konsep, ide dan hasil penelitian dalam ruang lingkup ilmu administrasi publik dan pemerintahan. SIMBOL berfokus kepada masalah utama pada pengembangan administrasi publik dan pemerintahan serta permasalahan sosial , yang mencakup Kebijakan dan Organisasi Sektor Publik, Reformasi Birokrasi Lokal, Tata Kelola Pemerintahan Daerah, Kolaborasi dalam Kebijakan Publik, Inovasi Pelayanan Publik, Manajemen Pemerintahan dan Sumber Daya Manusia,Pemilu dan Demokrasi, Pemerintahan Nagari atau Desa, Kajian Pemerintahan Minangkabau. SIMBOL di publikasikan pertama kalinya pada Januari 2022 secara online. Jurnal SIMBOL diterbitkan sebanyak 2 kali dalam 1 tahun. Setiap Bulan Januari dan Agustus.

<![CDATA[Indonesia ranked to five the number of deaths most because of traffic accident. Is a traffic accident motor vehicles most compared with adults. Motorcycle become the first rank of motor vehicles accident. Traffic accidents begins with a mistake individuals because violate traffic rules. This paper assess the a road traffic accident among teenagers and factors. Research conducted using the quantitative approach with a middle of the data. Respondents research are teenagers users motorcycle in high school. Samples taken to technique the sample intentional. The number of samples from 100 people. Data analyzed using statistic packed program for social sciences. Research conducted in SMAN 3 Padang city. The results of the study showed that although of teenagers on the traffic regulation is good but behavior of young people in traffic there are still many who flouted the rules. No consistency of knowledge in regard to the regulation traffic with his behavior traffic. The accident happened young people in traffic caused by a violation of traffic signals. Placement traffic signals in strategic locations, crowded, a lot of activity encourage road users violations. More action forcefully from police are required so that the deviation (offense traffic) teenagers not increase]]>

<![CDATA[Alay language is a language feature that sounds strange and the meaning and writing of alay language is strange and beyond reason and common sense from the speech used by our nation, the Indonesian people. Before discussing further about the problems that have been formulated, it is better if we know a little about the beginning of the Alay language. There is no certainty when alay language began to mushroom among teenagers. However, basically, without us realizing it, signs of alay language have existed for a long time and we must have used alay language. At first glance, it can be said that alay language is the same as broken language or slang. This research uses a qualitative approach. Research that uses research results in the form of alay language in adolescents and describes it in written form. This technique is carried out after the data has been collected with the listening method so that it can show usage through observation, conversation, documentation. This data technique uses the listen method, this method is done by reading the speech of teenagers to find out the language used. Reading technique aims to get data in the form of words or sentences that teenagers write.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of the research that the researchers conducted was to describe the Management of Village Funds in the Development of Nagari Piobang, Kecamatan Payakumbuh, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota (a case study of the community and the Nagari Piobang Government), describe the obstacles and efforts of the Nagari Government to have good planning in allocating Village Funds. Through development, of course, development can be felt by the entire village community. Or labor-intensive programs, which make people productive. The research that the author conducted uses qualitative research, where qualitative data analysis is an analytical process consisting of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. From the results of the research that the researchers did, it can be concluded that the situation in the field has not been in accordance with the expectations of the government, this is evidenced that only a small part of the Village Fund activities is used for the field of community empowerment in Nagari Piobang, because of the socialization and information provided to the people of Nagari Piobang still very little which results in a lack of interest in community participation]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of study to describe the diffusion of innovations in the Tanjung Gadang TB Care Community (Maspettag) program at the Tanjung Gadang Health Center, Sijunjung Regency. The background of this research is about health problems, one of which is TB disease or commonly known as Tuberculosis. The study used M. Rogers's theory of innovation diffusion with four variables including the innovation, communication channels, time, and a social system. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation. Selection of informants using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by grouping data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. For the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the innovation diffusion of the Tanjung Gadang TB Care Community (Maspettag) program has been going well. This can be seen from the innovation of the Maspettag program that has met the indicators of the theory of diffusion of innovation. Although there are still obstacles experienced by cadres when they go to the field due to rejection from the community. The innovation communication channel section, the Maspettag program does not use social media and only uses interpersonal channels to spread innovation to the public. The time variable for the spread of innovation is quite fast, it can be seen from the increasing number of suspected TB discoveries. <![CDATA[Government efforts to enhance the exceptional of public offerings never prevent, until the promulgation of regulation number 25 of 2009 regarding public services as a milestone in all efforts to boost up the conclusion of top notch public service in Indonesia. one of the breakthroughs and improvements to comprehend splendid provider is the enactment of Permenpan RB number 23 of 2017 concerning the implementation of the general public service Mall (MPP). The implementation of MPP in Palembang is based on Palembang Mayor's law No. fifty four of 2018 regarding Public provider department shops in the city of Padang, led by using the pinnacle of the Padang metropolis One-forestall funding office. The implementation of the public provider mall is aimed toward imparting ease of service to the human beings in the town of Palembang fast and effortlessly in addition to getting facilities and infrastructure which might be handy for the recipient of the carrier. The results showed that, first of all the low first-rate of human resources available at public provider shops, the unavailability of centers and infrastructure that were relaxed for recipients of offerings and the lack of socialization by using the authorities regarding the life of public provider department shops in the metropolis of Palembang.]]>

<![CDATA[Research has been conducted at the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office on the process of filling positions and efforts to create a professional, effective and efficient government apparatus." The methodology used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive method. namely a form of research that describes and interprets a situation as it is, which is related to how the process of filling positions and efforts to create a professional, effective and efficient government apparatus at the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office. The informant in the study is the person needed to provide information about the problem to be studied. The sources of information in this study are: key informants, early informants or purposively selected key informants. The results of this study revealed the process of filling positions at the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office, and it turned out to be in accordance with the established principles of personnel management, starting from position analysis activities, determining labor sources, the process of accepting workers, selection and appointment, followed by compensation was able to create a professional, efficient and effective government apparatus.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the political participation of people with disabilities in the general election of Governor and Deputy Governor of West Sumatra in 2020 and to determine the supporting factors and obstacles to political participation of people with disabilities in the election of Governor and Deputy Governor of West Sumatra. The type of research is descriptive qualitative which describes descriptively about the political participation of people with disabilities in the general election of Governor and Deputy Governor of West Sumatra in 2020. The sources of data are primary data and secondary data. The techniques of Data collection used are observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, there were main informants consisting of thirteen (13) voters from blind people. The Data analysis techniques by analyzing the results of the processed data are interpreted in the form of narration.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 outbreak has hit Indonesia for almost three years. Although Covid-19 cases had fluctuated and were rumored to be heading for an endemic period, the Covid-19 virus had not disappeared, and even new variants were increasing. Under these conditions, the author did this thesis aimed to educate the public through radio broadcasts about the dangers of Covid-19 waste to human life. The research was carried out based on the academic calendar of STISIPOL-IB Padang from March 23 to May 31, 2022. Meanwhile, the object of the research and writing process was carried out at LPP RRI Padang. The technique used by the author is to use purposive sampling, namely by using people who represent the population. As for the selection, the speakers are competent, loyal listeners of LPP RRI Padang and the people of Padang City. Getting the data is done by observation, interview, and documentation study. In practice, the author makes a list of questions and addresses the resource person. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis.]]>

<![CDATA[This thesis is a research that aims to describe and analyze the quality of public services in the Technical Implementation Unit of Motor Vehicle Testing of the Padang Pariaman Regency Transportation Office. The research refers to Sinambela's theory which states that the quality of excellent service is reflected in: Transparency, Accountability, Conditional, Participative, Equal Rights, Balance of Rights and Obligations. Then this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, documentation, and observation. Furthermore, the informant selection technique in this study is a purposive sampling technique and the validity of the data is carried out by source triangulation techniques. The results showed that the quality of motor vehicle testing services at the Technical Implementation Unit of Motor Vehicle Testing of the Padang Pariaman Regency Transportation Office has run quite well although in some indicators there are still not optimal such as transparency indicators, namely the absence of socialization about services to the community]]>
