Abstract

The Surabaya City Government through the Social Service, formed the UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri, listed in Surabaya Mayor Regulation Number 119 of 2021 concerning the Formation and Organizational Structure of the Technical Implementation Unit for the Kampung Anak Negeri Service at the Surabaya City Social Service. The aim of the study was to analyze and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the performance of social service delivery institutions in fostering abandoned mentally retarded children at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya City. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Theory uses guidelines in compiling performance reports, State Administration Institutions (LAN, 2018). The results of the research show that the (input) is adequate in terms of human resource needs, sources of budget allocations and policies or Standard Operating Procedures, but in ideal ratio, comparisons do not yet have a reference. (output) is already visible in the provision of skills. (outcome) has fulfilled physical and non-physical needs, but education has not been given and there is an increase in potential with the work of neglected mentally retarded children. (benefits) realizing independence in daily activities and long-term benefits, that is, if a mentally retarded child still has a family, they will be sent home. (positive impact) can be seen that there is an increase in enthusiasm for learning for neglected children with mental retardation, while the negative impact is that there are abandoned children with mental retardation who do not want to be reunified with their family.

Abstract

The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is necessary for employees who work in high-risk environments. This study aims to describe the implementation of K3 at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Jember and Pos Indonesia Jember. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Research findings obtained from literature reviews. The study found that the K3 implementation in both locations was well-executed, following the proper stages for K3 implementation. The research recommends to increase physical facilities.

Abstract

Thei samplingi techniquei was carriedi out using simplei randomi sampling technique, andi datai analysisi usingi pathi analysis, partiali test, simultaneousi test, iand coefficienti of determinationi test withi the helpi of SPSS (Statisticali Programi for iSocial Science) versioni 25.0 iprogram. Thei resultsi ofi thisi studyi cani bei concluded, ithat: 1) Humani Resourcei Informationi Systemi has noi significanti effecti oni employee performance; 2) Humani Resourcei Informationi Systemi has a positivei and isignificant effecti oni jobi satisfaction; 3) Jobi satisfaction has a positivei and isignificant effecti on employeei performance; and 4) Humani Resourcei Informationi Systemi effects employee performancei through jobi satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of four disciplines of execution in the consumer funding unit of Bank X. The four disciplines of execution are the discipline proposed by McChesney et al, 2012. This discipline is used by companies to help achieve company goals, namely increasing third-party funds. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research location used in this research is the consumer funding unit of Bank X. Triangulation is used to obtain the validity of the data. The result of this research is that after the consistent implementation of four disciplines of execution in 2021, the consumer funding Unit of Bank X managed to collect third-party funds of 725 billion from the specified target of 703 billion. For this reason, it was found that the increase in third-party funds was 103,13%. Thus, providing benefits such as increasing the target of increasing third-party funds from the previous year, reactivating the offline scoreboard, and carrying out other innovations in implementing the four disciplines of execution.

Abstract

Making a policy is determined by a leader who is in the institution and the leader has a leadership style, the leadership style that is owned will affect the final result of the policy to be issued. This study aims to find out how a leader applies the visionary leadership style in determining a policy and what are the factors that influence policy making in Sidomulyo Village Government, Batu District, Batu City by using qualitative methods. The application of data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this study, a leader who applies a visionary leadership style in his area of authority will have the right future plans and have been arranged regularly through predetermined processes. The visionary leadership style that is applied keeps the village moving forward and developing in a good direction through well-organized development planning, community participation in events organized by the village and community empowerment in an effort to increase human resources. visionary leadership in sidomulyo village has been going well and in making policies the village head will always consider based on the needs of the community.

Abstract

Globalization provides changes and challenges in utilizing knowledge and technology. Digitalization is expected to be able to be integrated into solving various public problems, one of which is providing public services and realizing smart cities. The waste problem often becomes a public polemic in its solution; this has become the concern of the Denpasar City government by presenting an innovative waste management system. SIDARLING (Information System Awareness and Concern for the Environment) is a form of waste management effort that invites urban residents to save their household waste through a web-based system and mobile application. The focus of this study is to analyze SIDARLING as a form of public service from an e-government perspective. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation and literature study, as well as conducting qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that SIDARLING is a form of e-government-based public service that focuses on waste management. Theoretically, it shows that SIDARLING has fulfilled the support, capacity, and value elements of its sustainability. This system is a form of government governance in the form of a new public service in digital-based waste management in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Since early 2020, all countries in the world have been hit by the 2019 coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic not only affects public health, but also has an impact on the economy. Meanwhile, the tourism sector experienced a slump. The purpose of this study is to find out the Tourism Recovery Strategy after the Covid-19 Pandemic in Sumenep Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. The post-pandemic tourism recovery strategy includes three parts, namely strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. The strategy formulation is an elaboration of central government regulations, namely the application of CHSE (Clealinees, Healthy, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) in the main activities in the tourism industry, namely MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities. Furthermore, the central regulation is described in a regional regulation, namely the Decree of the Regent of Sumenep concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities. The implementation of the strategy carried out is the dissemination of the application of health protocols to tourism objects and the surrounding area, which has been implemented since 2020 to all tourism stakeholders (Government, tourism business actors, community). Meanwhile, the strategy evaluation was carried out on the implementation of the strategy as a consideration for improving the strategy in the next period according to the pandemy level, and the situation and conditions in Sumenep Regency. This evaluation is stated in the recommendation of the Regent of Sumenep regarding the implementation of health protocols on 3 tourism objects managed by the Government of Sumenep Regency, namely Slopeng beach, Lombang beach and the palace museum.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the Strategic renewal and innovation of Lazismu Yogyakarta related to the management and distribution of zakat. This research uses a qualitative approach using a case study strategy. Data collection was done by conducting observations and interviews. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results showed that the management and distribution of zakat lazismu Yogyakarta using Strategic renewal which includes: 1) strategic renewal context which includes technological transition through the use of the Lazismudiy.or.id website, and the utilization of social media; 2) Strategic renewal Content which includes transformation by conducting fundraising methods and collaborating synergies with national zakat institutions and zakat givers (muzakki); 3) strategic renewal Process which includes sustainability and unsustainability by conducting zakat management training and multi-line organizational networks, then the innovations made by Lazismu Yogyakarta, namely: 1) Relative advantage through the distribution of zakat that is right on target, the development of service programs, and cooperation related to digital distribution of zakat; 2) Compatibility, through increasing the capacity of Human Resources (HR) and poverty alleviation through 6 pillars namely education, economy, health, social da'wah, humanity and environment; 3) Complexity, through openness in the distribution of zakat through the Lazismu Yogyakarta website and targeted distribution; 4) Triability, through certainty in channeling zakat funds to recipients through fundraising methods; 5) Observability, by supervising the management and distribution of zakat and collecting data on muzakki and mustahik properly.

Abstract

Stunting is a failure of growth and development that disrupts the growth of toddlers due to continuous inadequate nutrition. Malnutrition during the growth period of children at an early age will hamper physical development, increase morbidity, and hinder children's mental development until death occurs. Whereas in toddlers it causes intellectual abilities and productivity to decrease. Currently, the stunting rate in Surabaya City is in the lowest position compared to other cities/districts throughout Indonesia. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This research focuses on knowing what strategies are used so that the success of the stunting reduction acceleration program in the Surabaya City Government occurs. Researchers conducted data analysis using the collaborative governance theory put forward by Ansell and Gash (2007) which focuses on collaborative processes. The data collection technique used secondary data obtained from news articles online and relevant journal articles. The data analysis technique involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the collaborative process in handling stunting is going quite well and effectively. This is proven by the decreasing in the number of stunting in the city of Surabaya, which decreases every year. Reducing stunting requires support from stakeholders, the organizations involved, and the people of Surabaya City. With this, it is hoped that the Surabaya City Government will be further motivated and continue to implement the program sustainably until there are no new cases of stunting.

Abstract

Company competition is increasingly fierce in the current digital era, companies must be able to face competitive competition by utilizing and managing quality resources optimally. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the non-physical work environment and financial compensation on organizational commitment. This research was conducted at the Banyuwangi Regional Drinking Water Company. The research was conducted from September 2020 to December 2022. The research design used was explanatory research. The population used was all employees of the Banyuwangi Regional Drinking Water Company with a sampling technique using saturated samples. The sample in this study was 76 respondents. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the non-physical work environment and financial compensation had a partially significant positive effect on organizational commitment at the Banyuwangi Regional Drinking Water Company and the non-physical work environment and financial compensation had a simultaneously significant positive effect on organizational commitment at the Banyuwangi Regional Drinking Water Company.
