Abstract

AbstractBackground This research is with the many foreign cultures that enter and can influence Indonesian society, then with this, it can have a positive or negative impact on Indonesian society. The purpose of this research is to find out what Character Values are contained in a collection of regional stories, especially on the island of Sumatra in the book "Collection of folklore 33 Province of Angelia Yustitia". In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. As a data collection tool from the source studied, researchers used a data card. The qualitative data collection technique in this study was by means of the note-taking method. The results carried out by way of describing found the values of Characters in the Book of Collection of Folklore 33 Provinces of Yustitia Angelia. Character values are derived from the sentences in each story from the island of Sumatra in the book. Based on the story that has been analyzed, the character values found are 88 character values. With the character values that often appear are Religious a number of 12 findings. Character values that do not appear at all are Democratic, nationalism and reading. Ancient folklore originating from the island of Sumatra in particular can be used as a reinforcement of children's character values. Because of all these stories contain a lot of positive character values in them that can be used in learning.Keywords: Character, Folklore, Sumatra Island

Abstract

AbstractHealth education through School Health Unit is important and must be encouraged. This research aims to observe, try to analyze, describe and evaluate the implementation of the School Health Unit program in elementary school. This type of research was a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data obtained through interview, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The result of the research that implementation of the School Health Unit program, some have going to plan, but there are some indicators of School Health Unit success that have yet to be implemented, such as the absence of a decision letter by the implementasion team, don’t have budget planning, healthy school canteen control by the physical Education teachers or community health centers should be further improved, classroom density, non-smoking areas. In the implementation of the School Health Unit program monitoring activities haven’t been carried out according to instruments, reporting hasn’t beeb carried out according to the corect format, and evaluation techniques haven’t been carried out according to the rules.Keywoards: School Health Unit, Health Education, Three School Health Unit Programs.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to increase the motivation and achievement of students in grade I V SD 6 Puyoh in the second semester of the 2017/2018 academic year in Civics by applying the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach based on game methods.To achieve this goal, this study was designed in two cycles. The procedure in each cycle includes the stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection.The effectiveness of actions in each cycle is measured from the results of observations described, interpreted, and then reflected to determine corrective actions in the next cycle.Research actions taken as much as two cycles of the results obtained in the first cycle, 20 students already are 14 students or 7 0 % achieve mastery that has been set while the remaining 4 students or 30 % not achieve mastery. The highest score obtained by students is 80 while the lowest score is 50, the average student learning outcome is 74 . The increase in the average learning outcomes in the first cycle was 13% of the average pre - cycle achievement . Cycle II data shows that of the 20 students there were 19 students or 95 % had reached the specified completeness while the remaining 1 child or 5 % had not reached completeness. The highest score obtained by students is 100 while the lowest score is 70. The average student learning outcomes are 80 , 3 . Improved learning outcomes that occur in cycle II amounted to 7.5 %Depending on the action concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model to approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based game method , can improve student motivation and achievement of grade I V SD 6 Puyoh the second semester of 2017/2018 school year on the subjects of civics materials globalization. D ith the increasing student motivation to result in increased student achievement.Keyword : CTL, Motivation, achievement, Civics

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the internalization of the values of Pancasila in shaping the character of students based on school culture. The extent to which schools implement policies and programs in support of the inculcation of  Pancasila values, the sustainability of the school culture in shaping the character of students, and evaluating the implementation of Pancasila internalization. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. This research can be classified in the field research category. Data collection used in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in shaping the character of students through school culture can be done with the School Physical Environment Arrangement, School Social Environment Arrangement, School Personnel Arrangement, School Work Environment Arrangement, Classroom Management, Principal Leadership.Keywords: Internalization of  Pancasila values, Character, School culture

Abstract

Abstract               Background; 1) teacher performance and competence in learning management are low. 2) the teacher does not understand 4 main competencies, namely pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. 3) teachers are not yet skilled in preparing learning plans, 4) teachers are not yet skilled in effective learning management. The research objective is to improve the performance and competence of Rejosari Elementary 2 teachers in the management of learning through ongoing guidance.This research was conducted in semester 1 of 2018/2019 Academic Year, namely July-December 2018 at SD 2 Rejosari, UPT Education District of Dawe, Kudus Regency, with 10 teachers as research subjects. Sources of data obtained through documentation, observation and interviews. Comparative qualitative descriptive data analysis followed by reflection with School Action Research action procedures in two cycles, each cycle performed in 3 meetings.Research result; 1) The percentage of teacher performance in learning management in the initial condition is 65% sufficient category, 75% in the first cycle is enough, and 88% in the second cycle is good. 2) The percentage of teacher competency in learning management in the initial condition is 60% less category, 73% in the first cycle is enough, and 88% in the second cycle is good.Keywords: Performance, Teacher Competence and Continued Guidance.

Abstract

AbstractNatural disaster preparedness is a concern in Indonesia, including in the world of education. The Disaster Preparedness School Program, Child Friendly Schools, Disaster Response Schools, Disaster Resilient Schools are some of the scenarios carried out by the government to prepare everything in the event of a disaster in the educational environment. Students in the educational environment are vulnerable elements in a disaster. Especially for those students with special needs. The purpose of this study is the development of a disaster preparedness book product for inclusive schools. Strategies or special ways for disaster preparedness must be considered according to the needs and characteristics of each student with special needs. The method used is research and development. The results of this study are increasing the competence of students in the attitudes and measures / knowledge of mitigation, school residents should be trained in dealing with disaster emergencies, and books developed further emphasize the concern for students with disabilities in disaster response in inclusive schools.Keywords: disaster preparedness, child friendly schools, inclusion, yogyakarta

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to increase motivation and learning outcomes for Civics Education through the application of the Olympic Learning model to Grade VI students of SD Negeri IV Baturetno in the 2015/2016 academic year. The method used in this research is classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The action research steps taken in each cycle include 4 stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observations, and (4) evaluation-reflection. The results of this study are there is an increase in learning motivation Citizenship Education (PKn) which is in the minimum good category by 48% ie from 8 students (32%) in the pre cycle, in the first cycle to 13 students (52%) and in the second cycle to 20 students (80%) with an average student motivation of 84 or in the Good category (B). In addition, there was also an increase in Civics Education (PKn) learning outcomes from 9 students (36%) of students completing their studies in pre-cycle, to 19 students (76%) in cycle I, and in cycle II to 23 students (92% ). total increase of 52%. The average score of learning outcomes is increased by the pre-cycle average value of 66.8. , in the first cycle to 73.6, and in the second cycle to 83.2. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve competency in formulating indicators and learning objectives for class I to VI SDN 1 Balepanjang District Baturetno District Wonogiri District Semester I Academic Year 2018/2019 through academic supervision This research uses the School Action Research method which is carried out in 2 cycles. The setting of this research is SDN 1 Balepanjang. The research subjects were 6 class teachers consisting of class I to VI teachers at SD Negeri 1 Balepanjang. Data collection techniques are non-test, in the form of documents, observations / supervision, and field notes to determine teacher competence in formulating indicators and learning objectives. The results of this research can be concluded that there was an increase in competency in formulating learning objectives after being given academic supervision for grade I to VI teachers of SDN 1 Balepanjang, Baturetno District, Wonogiri Regency Semester I, 2018/2019 academic year, from 1 person or 16.7% of the teachers have the competence to formulate learning objectives in both categories in the pre cycle, in the first cycle to 5 people or 83.3% and in the second cycle to 6 teachers or 100%. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve the competency of preparing lesson plans and implementing learning through academic supervision with classroom observation techniques for teachers of SD Negeri I Baturetno in the 2018/2019 academic year. This study uses the School Action Research method which was conducted in 2 cycles. The setting of this research is SDN 1 Baturetno. The research subjects were 10 class teachers consisting of grade I to VI teachers at SD Negeri 1 Baturetno. Data collection techniques are non-test, in the form of documents, observations, interviews, and field notes. The results of this study are that there is an increase in teacher competence in preparing the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and implementing the learning process after academic supervision with classroom observation techniques for grade I to VI teachers of SD Negeri 1 Baturetno 2018/2019 Academic Year by 80% or as much as 8 teachers namely from 2 teachers (20%) in the pre-cycle, in the first cycle to 5 teachers (50%) and in the second cycle to 10 teachers or 100%. For the average value - experienced a total increase of 18.8 (eighteen point eight), namely from the pre-cycle average value of 71 (less category), in the first cycle to 80 (good category) and in the second cycle to 89.8 (very category well). These results indicate that academic supervision with classroom observation techniques can improve the competency of preparing lesson plans and implementing learning for elementary school teachers I Baturetno.Keywords: Teacher Competence, RPP, Learning, Academic Supervision, Class Observation

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to increase learning activities and outcomes explaining the importance of the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia through Bamboo Dance for Class V Students of SDN 1 Kedungombo in 2018 / 2019. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 13th grade students of SD Negeri I Kedungombo, Baturetno District. This research was conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle was held 2 meetings. The results of this study are 1) There is an increase in student learning activities after the learning process is implemented by applying the Bamboo Dance learning model to the material explaining the importance of the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri I Kedungombo in the 2018/2019 academic year from pre-cycle to second cycle until reaching 92.3% or 12 students actively learn with an average value of learning activeness of 87.7. 2) There was an increase in student learning outcomes after the learning process was implemented by applying the Bamboo Dance learning model to the material explaining the importance of the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri I Kedungombo in the academic year 2018/2019, reaching (100%). Or 13 students complete learning with an average of 87.3 or in either category (B).Keywords: Activities and learning outcomes, Bamboo Dance learning model.
