Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the School Action Research (PTS) is to determine the effect of In House Training on improving teacher competence in interactive multimedia-based learning. The method used in the School Action Research (PTS) with two cycles, each cycle consisting of stages (1) planning, (2) implementing corrective actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Indicators of success in the School Actions Study if the activeness of the teachers, the competence of teachers operating interactive multimedia, and the competence of teachers in implementing multimedia-based learning shows 75%. The results of the School Action Research through In House Trainning have developed from Cycle 1 to Cycle 2 showing improvement. The results of the second cycle during the teacher participating in In House Trainning showed the activeness of the teacher that is 80%, the teacher's skills in operating multimedia 80% and the teacher's competence in implementing multimedia-based learning 86%. Based on the results of cycle 2 it can be concluded that there is an Increase in Teacher Competence in Multimedia-Based Learning through In House Training. Based on these results it is expected that (1) Giriwoyo Elementary School I teachers in order to optimize their role as interactive multimedia-based planners, organizers, and learning (2) School principals facilitate teachers to improve interactive multimedia-based learning competencies. (3) School Committee I Giriwoyo Elementary School I facilitates interactive multimedia facilities and funds In House Training activities.Keywords: Teacher competence, interactive multimedia, In House Training.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to improve the quality of the learning process and improve students' understanding of concepts so that learning outcomes can improve. This research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research procedure with four stages of activities ranging from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data analysis is done by comparing the initial conditions with the first cycle where there is an increase from an average value of 60 to 69.09 and comparing between the first cycle with the second cycle an increase from an average value of 69.09 to 82.73 and compare from initial conditions until the second cycle an increase of an average of 82%. Thus the results of the study showed that by applying the contextual approach students more quickly understood the concepts conveyed in learning, so that learning outcomes improved.Keywords: PKN, RI State Institution, Media Chart

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to produce a product in the form of Macromedia Flash-based Interactive Guidance and Counseling Media to Embed Character Values in Elementary Students. This research is motivated by the importance of providing Guidance and Counseling services by using interactive media to instill character values in elementary students. The method used in this research is R&D. Operationally the R&D research steps are described in three stages, namely the survey stage, the model development stage, and the model testing stage. In the initial stage a survey was conducted which was useful to (1) identify the scope of the problem; (2) identify areas of guidance and counseling services. The second stage is the stage of media development and testing. The third stage is the product validation test stage. At this stage the testing of interactive guidance and counseling media using macromedia flash was conducted for elementary school students. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to (1) produce an Integrative Thematic SSP based on the Living Values Education Program (LVEP) for Strengthening the Nationalism Character of Elementary Students and (2) determine the effectiveness of the LVEP-based Thematic Integrative SSP to improve understanding of the nationalism character of elementary school students. This type of research is Research & Development (R&D) with a development model from Borg & Gall. This model consists of 10 stages. Data collection techniques used are guidelines for product assessment, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data collection instruments used were product assessment guidelines, observation guidelines, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. The results showed the Integrative Thematic SSP based on the Living Values Education Program (LVEP) for the Strengthening of Nationalism Characteristics of Elementary School Students at the initial coaba test stage was known to P 0,000 <0.05 meaning there was a difference between the average observations of the nationalism character values before and after the study, in the test try the field known P 0,000 <0.05 means that there is a difference between the average results of observations of the value of nationalism character before and after research, and in the field test it is known that P 0,000 <0.05 means there is a difference between the average results of observing the value of nationalism characters before and after research. Furthermore, the student assessment sheet on the practicality of the SSP that was developed was categorized as "very good" in terms of the atmosphere of learning, the use of student worksheets, and the activeness of students with a score of 48.07 in the Very Good category.Keyword: SSP, thematic integrative, nationalism, LVEP

Abstract

Abstract:This article aims to analyze historical learning in social science subjects by inviting elementary school students to learn outside the classroom. During this time the obstacles in learning history are verbalism, monotony, and lack of understanding of elementary school students about a historical event. Learning history can be maximized if elementary school students in addition to using book media, also use other media that contains educational elements and are in the local environment through observation in museums. The museum as a learning medium plays a role in providing concrete historical information to elementary school students. For teachers who apply observation-based history learning in museums need certain assessment techniques. The assessment rubric which consists of aspects of historical learning based on observation must be compiled by the teacher so that learning in the museum can be measured validly. Historical learning in museums with appropriate assessment techniques results in structured learning and high and valid learning achievements. Abstract

 Abstract            This study aims to promote creativity and student learning outcomes 2 Bae fourth grade second semester of academic year 2016/2017 on subjects Civics material  Know the State institutions at the central level  through a model of Learning Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Assisted Media Poste r To achieve these objectives, This research was designed in two cycles. The procedure in each cycle includes the stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection.The effectiveness of actions in each cycle is measured from the results of observations described, interpreted, and then reflected to determine corrective actions in the next cycle.Action research conducted in two cycles obtained results in the first cycle, the creativity observation results reached a score of 3.0 with a value of 75 with enough predicate and on the learning outcomes of 21 students there were already 12 students or 58% achieved the specified completeness while the remaining 9 students or 42% have not yet reached completion. The highest score obtained by students is 100 while the lowest score is 60, the average student learning outcomes are 75. The average increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle is 9.3% of the average pre-cycle achievement. Cycle II data on the results of observations of creativity reached a score of 3.3 with a score of 83 with a good predicate and learning outcomes showed that of 21 students there were 20 students or 95% had achieved predetermined completeness while the remaining 1 child or 5% had not reached completeness. The highest value obtained by students is 100 while the lowest value is 70. The average student learning outcomes are 83. The increase in learning outcomes that occurred in the second cycle is 9.6%Based on the actions taken, it can be concluded that the application of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Learning Model Assisted by Media Posters , can improve the creativity and achievement of fourth grade students of SD 2 Bae in the second semester of 2016/2017 academic year in the subject of Civics Knowing the State Institutions at the Central Level  . an increase in student learning creativity will bring influence to the increased achievement of students.Keyword : TGT, creativity, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract            The purpose of this study is to improve speaking skills trough a paired storytelling learning model assisted with hand puppets in3rd grade students Tegaldowo Elementary School. This research is a Classroom Action Research with steps from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting which is carried out collaboratively between researchers and classroom teachers. The research subjects are3rd grade students consisting of 24 students. The data in the study were collected by observation, practice tests, documentation, and field notes. The instruments used are learning devices, observation sheets and tests. Speaking skills measured through this study include pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, structure, and fluency in the analytical technique used is to calculate the average and calculate the percentage of completeness. The results of the study concluded that, the application of paired storytelling learning models assisted by hand puppets proved to be able to improve the speaking skills of 3rd gradestudents at Tegaldowo Elementary School. This can be proven by an increase in the speaking skills of students who have reached the Minimum Completion Criteria value, in the pre-cycle the average score of students is 60.41, with a completeness percentage of 20.83%. In the first cycle the average value of students was 70.42, with a percentage of completeness of 50%. In the second cycle the average value of students increased to 81.25, with a percentage of completeness 83.33%.Keywords :speaking skills, paired story telling with hand puppets.

Abstract

This research aim to describe: (1) the integrative thematic content, (2) thescientific approach content, and (3) the authenthic assessment in the textbook ofCurriculum 2013. This research was content analysis using the qualitative approach.The data analysis techniques used consisted of unitizing, sampling, recording, inferring,and narrating. This results of this study are as follows. (1) Most of the integratedindicators in the textboox are not achieved because KD numbering error in accordancewith Permendikbud Number 67 Year 2013, and incomtability with KD material listed(2) The conten of the scientific approach in the textbook includes activities that vary,and direct the students to interact to build knowledge (3) The content of authenthicassessment already fulfils most of the indicators, but it still needs to be equipped withthe rubric to assist teachers in implementing the assessment. Abstract

This study is research and development adopting Borg & Gall model. The aim ofthis study is to develop of teaching materials based on learning cycle model and thefeasibility of teaching materials. This first year development is limited to three stages:1) the preliminary study and information collection, 2) planning, 3) the initial productdevelopment and validation by experts. The research instrument used was validationsheet, questionnaire sheet, and observation sheet. The data was analyzed by descriptivestatistics technique. The results of the study are: 1) the developed product is module ofSocial Science learning material based on learning cycle on the subject of naturalphenomena and that mitigation, 2) validation by experts showed that the developedteaching material module is very feasible to be used for lectures in Social ScienceLearning Materials in Elementary School so that it could support the professionalcompetence of the college students of Elementary School Education Department, UAD.Keywords: teaching material, learning cycle, professional competence.

Abstract

This qualitative research discussed some literatures and gives suggestions of teaching ideas and methods for language learning using games in the classroom. Withliterature study methods, it could be deeper understood that language learning needscommunicative and cooperativeapproach, without leaving a challenging and funatmosphere and better if the learrning is adjusted according to students characteristics.One of the ways is through the use of ‘Catur Jantra’ game with these steps: 1)stimulation, 2) exploration, 3) structure learning, 4) ‘Catur Jantra’, 5) evaluation andreflection. This game is still open for modification appropriate to learning topics and students’ need as one of the ways to apply the differentiation strategy in the class. Thisidea brought some theoretical and practical implications for effective learning. It issuggested teachers apply this game method to facilitate the students, for native speakerslearners as well as to foreign/ second language learners, in attempts of their fluency inIndonesian language learning.
