Abstract

Mathematics is regarded as a difficult course load for students PGSD, whereas those aspiring teachers who will teach konsepMatematika in elementary school (SD).Pembelajaran mathematics in elementary directed to the formation of personality andability to think mathematics. PGSD Adi Buana University PGRI Surabaya being proactivewith one mission, which is to produce graduates who excel and character. Students have thehabit of memorizing a concept, but do not understand the concept. That is, to solve theproblems of students always solve the problems in the manner provided lecturers. Thisresulted in students not able to develop creative character. One approach to learning that isable to develop creative character is the approach Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).The paper lists different types of literature review that discusses learning RMEberbasiscreative character as an effort to prepare prospective elementary school teachers who exceland character. subjects based on the theme; removal of subjects one to the other subjects;make APE in accordance with the theme; developing materials.Keywords: Character Creative, Realistic Mathematis Education (RME).

Abstract

The purpose of this school action research is used to improve work discipline in completing the educational administration through classroom supervision for teachers atSDN 2 Nglandeyan in the second semester of the school year 2014/2015. As for the timeneeded to complete the research for 4 (four) months starting from the month of February2015 until May 2015 using a study in SDN 2 Nglandeyan Kedungtuban District of Blora. Inthis study using Action Research School (PTS) which is divided into two cycles andimplemented through four main activities that include planning (planning), action (acting),observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting) in every cycle , In the first cycle schoolprincipals encourage teachers to correct the deficiencies of education administration usingthe method of classroom supervision then a second cycle school principals encourageteachers to supplement the shortage of educational administration through methods ofclassroom supervision. The next action is a reflection of researchers work in improving theadministration of teacher education in the first cycle and cycle 2 and compared with theinitial conditions. From the result of reflection was found that the use of classroomsupervision method can be used by principals to improve the competence of teachers incompleting the educational administration in accordance with existing rules.Keywords: Supervision, Discipline and administration.

Abstract

This paper is aimed to create a learning media in the form of a module as a sourceof mathematics learning based on contextual approach to PGSD student in order tofacilitate them to understand the concept and the student independence learning in terms ofstudents responses’ aspects to the moduledeveloped. This research can be classified as aResearch and Development (R & D) using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,Implementation, and Evaluation) model with the mathematics module product forelementary school (SD / MI)based on contextual approach. The Development is donethrough several stages of analysis, design, development,implementation, and evaluation.The development model used in this research is the procedural development. It is adescriptive model, which outlinesthe steps and followed bycreating a product. The resultshowed that the CTL approach module got ‘good’ assessment by the validator with theeligibility percentage 82.6% for ideal contents and 80.35% for the appearance and languageused.After using the CTL approach module,theunderstanding conceptof studentsincreased.It was proved by the increasing of the average score for both pre-test and posttest.The earliest average is 47 and it became 92. The students’ response can be classifiedasa positive category with ideal percentage 88.4%Keywords: Module, Contextual, Concept understanding, and Independence Learning.

Abstract

The problems were how far the role of education to the teaching capability, how farthe education experiences has play role to teaching capability and how far the educationand teaching experiences together have play role to the education capability for theelementary teachers on Technical Unit Location at Kretek Bantul Regency. While thereason of this research was to know the role of education and teaching experiences whetheras solitary or as together have a play role or not to the education capability of elementaryteachers on technical unit location at Kretek district Bantul regency. The method used inthis research was quota area random sampling, while the location for researches wereelementary schools located at Kretek district and time duration for research between July – August 2010. The amount of research personals subject were 30 persons. Data collectionused by observation technique and documentation as main technical method completedwith interview. While for data analysis, method used with single and double regressionmethods. The conclusion was : There were no significant difference on educated teacherson their capability (rxy = 0.162 < r = 0,374) there were no significant differenceteaching experience on teaching capability (rtable 5%x2xy = 0.124 < r = 0,374), There were nosignificant difference between education and experience as togetherness on teachingcapability Freg = 0,86 < F table 5% table 5%= 3,35) for the elementary teachers on local technical unitat Kretek district Bantul Regency.Key Words : teachers, roll of education, teaching experience, capability.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to analyze the difference of learning interest and learningachievement subject of media learning between students who followed multimedia based learningSAVI model and students who followed conventional learning model. The Populations in thisresearch were entire students class academic year 2014/2015 amount of 231 students. Samplingtechnique used was random sampling with a sample amount of 90 students. The data of learninginterest were collected using questionnaire and learning achievement subject of media learningwere collected using test. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic and MANOVA. Theresearch result shows that: (1) there is difference of learning interest between students whofollowed multimedia based learning SAVI model and students who followed conventional learningmodel in which the value of F19.620 < 0.05, (2) there is difference of learning achievementbetween students who followed learning achievement subject of media learning and students whofollowed conventional learning model in which multivariate test result produces value of F count 32.940< 0.05, (3) there is a difference of learning interest and learning achievement subject ofmedia learning simultaneously between students who followed multimedia based learning SAVImodel and students who followed conventional learning model in which MANOVA test onsignificant level F 28.470 produces value p < 0.05. Abstract

This study aims 1) to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning method forlearning outcomes PKN class V SDN II Tameng Giriwoyo, 2 ) the influence ofDiscovery Learning Method on motivation in class V SDN II Tameng Giriwoyo. Thisresearch is a quasi experiment. The population in this study were all students of SDN IITameng and the sample is a class V SDN II Tameng Giriwoyo. Data were collectedthrough tests to see student learning outcomes and questionnaires and observation to seethe effect of the Discovery Learning Methods and motivation on learning outcomes ofstudents of class V SDN II Tameng Giriwoyo . Abstract

The purpose of this study was aimed to improve learning achievement IPS with Learning Model STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) in the third gradestudents of SD Negeri 4 Ngraho Kedungtuban Blora. This research is a classroom actionresearch subjects Class III students of SD Negeri 4 Ngraho Kedungtuban Blora totaling16 people, consisting of nine boys and seven girls. The procedure of this study uses fourphases, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniquesin this study using data collection instruments in the form of guidelines for observation,testing guidelines, documentation and interview guides. Data analysis techniques in thisstudy using the average and the percentage of completeness. The study concluded that:Learning social studies learning model STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) inthe Class III SD Negeri 4 Ngraho Kedungtuban Blora, can improve studentachievement. The increase in the percentage of students learning seen from theincreasing average value of students and the percentage of completeness. Prasiklusaverage learning outcomes 64.37 with the percentage of completeness 31%. I cycleaverage of 65.28 with the percentage of learning outcomes completeness 56%. Cycle IIaverage learning outcomes 83.43 with the percentage of completeness of 87.5%.Keywords: Learning STAD (Student Team Achievement Division), IPS LearningAchievement.

Abstract

This study focuses to see the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials based on open-ended problem solving, a research that had resulted from the previous year as acontinuation of the study of research and development (R & D). The preliminary studiesand the development of teaching materials were carried out in the first year. In thesecond year it would be the evaluation phase to see the effectiveness of the trial use ofteaching materials. To view this effectiveness the researcher would evaluate the increasein reasoning abilities of the students, activity of lecture, activity of students in thelearning and teaching materials, students response to problem solving based on openendedquestion. The samples in this study were taken from two units of lectures onStudy Program Primary School Teacher (PGSD) Almuslim University. Each unit wouldbe subject to different actions, where the unit got learning with teaching materials basedon open-ended problem solving and other units without the use of the teachingmaterials. Based on the result of the study, some conclusions were found, including; (1)there is a difference between the increase in reasoning abilities of students studyingteaching materials based on the open-ended problem solving with students wo studiedwithout using the teaching materials; (2) In general, the activity of students and lecturers were observed in the study by using teaching materials based on the open-ended problem solving in both categories; (3) Based on questionnaire student responsetowards learning mathematics by using teaching materials based open ended problemsolving is very positive. Thus it can be stated that the teaching materials based on theopen-ended problem solving were very effective to be applied to the study ofmathematics at the Almuslim University PGSD Department to increase studentsreasoning skills.Keywords: Problem Solving Teaching Material Based Open-Ended, Attitude Students,Lecturers and Students Activities, and Mathematical Reasoning Ability

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of multisensory method in improving the reading skills of dyslexia students in grades 2 SDN Tamasari 3Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive study that presents the change in theability of subject to read after receiving treatment. Subjects in this study were fivedyslexic students in second grade SDN Tamansari 3 Yogyakarta. Treatment usingmultisensory method given in the classical for four times with a duration of 2 x hours oflessons at each meeting. Early reading ability of subject is measured by asking thesubject to read simple words. Data collection technique used observation and tests. Thereading test results are analyzed using quantitative descriptive and observations wereanalyzed using qualitative descriptive. The description of the data showed an increase inreading skills dyslexic students. This was demonstrated by an increase in the number ofword recognition, reading time, and the number of words read per minute.Keywords: multisensory method, the reading ability of dyslexic students in elementaryschool.
