Generation Z grows up and lives when financial technology is more advanced and developed. This study aims to determine the behavioral intention to use Islamic financial technology in generation Z. The method in this study is to use the UTAUT2 model and analyze it using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) in the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The sample in this study was generation Z in Surakarta who had never used Islamic bank services, totaling 115 respondents. The results in this study indicate that Effort Expectancy, Habit, and Hedonic Motivation have a significant effect on behavioral intentions to use Islamic Financial Technology, while Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, and Price Value have no significant effect on behavioral intentions to use Islamic Financial Technology.

Methodology: The technique of examination in this research is quantitative data examination application multiple linear regression. The purposive sampling method is used to select samples, and 94 companies are obtained that met the research criteria after outliers are made. The process of collecting secondary data is done through documentation studies. The data examination technique is assisted by the SPSS 26.00 software. Results: The analysis test results obtained that liquidity and financial leverage have no affect on the underpricing levels, whereas activity ratio and firm size have negative significant affect, but ROE tend a positive significant affects on the underpricing levels. The decrease in uncertainty by the company will also reduce the level of underpricing. Applications/Originality/Value: Many previous research have explore the factors that affect underpricing, but studies that specifically explore the role of financial ratios are still limited, especially for the post-2020 period. This research contributes to the literature by assure fresh empirical proof on the relationship between liquidity ratio (CR), financial leverage (DER), activity ratio (TATO), firm size (SIZE), and profitability (ROE) to underpricing which can then be adopt into advisement for investors, issuers, and underwriters in making decisions.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to provide recommendations related to investment or trading momentum using technical analysis based on two indicators, namely the Directional Movement Index (DMI) and Ichimoku Kinko hyo. The research population consists of stock price movements of financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2023 period. Stock price movement data is analyzed using the TradingView app. The method used is technical analysis, where Ichimoku Kinko hyo serves to identify stock price trends at a certain time, and DMI is used to measure trend strength as well as provide signals related to investment momentum. The data is analyzed in a descriptive analysis, with visualizations of trends and momentum generated through TradingView. The results show that the combination of Ichimoku Kinko hyo and DMI is effective in predicting stock price trends and providing signals for investment decision-making. Ichimoku Kinko hyo charts the market trend clearly, while the DMI assesses the strength of the trend and provides the right momentum signal to buy or sell. This study makes an important contribution to investors and traders in the stock market, in determining the right time to make a buy or sell decision based on the strength of the trend and momentum. Thus, the combination of these two indicators can increase the accuracy of trading decision-making in the financial stock sector on the IDX.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to estimate the direction and magnitude of the influence of the elasticity of job opportunities, the provincial minimum wage, the average length of schooling, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the primary sector, the GRDP of the secondary sector, and the GRDP of the tertiary sector on the inflow of migration using data from 33 provinces in Indonesia from 2010 to 2022. Methodology: This study employs a quantitative approach with a panel data regression method. The data is secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The analytical tool used is regression analysis using Eviews software. Results: The results indicate that the provincial minimum wage and the GRDP of the secondary sector have a negative and significant impact on migration inflow. The average length of schooling, the GRDP of the primary sector, and the GRDP of the tertiary sector positively and significantly affect migration inflow. Meanwhile, the elasticity of job opportunities does not impact migration inflow. Applications/Originality/Value; The government can play an important role in managing migration related to the elasticity of job opportunities, the provincial minimum wage, the average length of schooling, and the GRDP. The government can use this study’s findings to plan strategies related to population distribution in Indonesia, ensuring that population density does not occur only in certain areas and that the economy in each province can be balanced.

Abstract

Purpose: This study tries to compare the effect of the brown economy proxied by the CO2 Emissions, and Tourism Expenditures variable with the green economy proxied by the variables of Hydroelectricity, and Renewable Energy. The green economy is one of the solutions to environmental degradation. Methodology: This research is a form of comprehensiveness of previous research. This research is a type of quantitative research using the panel data regression analysis method. The data used in 2010–2020 was obtained from the World Bank and Our World in Data on three countries, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. Results: The results showed that EMS has a significant negative effect on GDP, while CEH and TE have a significant positive effect. Meanwhile, RE has a positive relationship but no significant effect. These results imply that the three countries have passed the second phase in the Kuznet curve of EKC theory. The great potential in green economy development has been utilized to maintain sustainable economic growth. Applications/Originality/Value The government is expected to support the optimization of the transition from non-renewable energy to renewable energy by utilizing all renewable energy components, including wind, biomass, and solar heat. Policymakers are expected to make policies that encourage tourism to adopt green tourism to overcome the adverse effects of tourist arrivals, and the government are expected to maximize and emphasize the application of hydroelectricity as a source of electricity.

Abstract

Purpose: Tea is one of the commodities in the plantation sub-sector that is exported to international markets. In addition, Indonesia's land quality is suitable for tea growing conditions and has the potential to increase production and export volumes to the international market. However, in 2021, Indonesia's tea export performance declined so that productivity decreased. Limitations in technology, selection of poor quality tea seeds, and lack of government attention to the tea farming sector are the reasons for the decline in export performance in the sector. This study aims to to analyze whether the GDP of the importing country, exchange rates, inflation, and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions affect Indonesian tea exports to importing countries. Methodology: The research method used quantitative data and was tested with multiple linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model to investigate the effect of Gross Domestic Product, inflation, exchange rate, and carbon dioxide on Indonesian tea exports from 2009-2020. Results: The results of the study showed that statistically the GDP of the UK and the Netherlands had no effect on Indonesian tea exports while the increase in GDP positively affected Indonesian tea exports to Russia. Carbon dioxide emissions have a negative effect on Indonesian tea exports to Russia, the Netherlands and the UK. Applications/Originality/Value The findings provide advice for the government to maintain tea exports as well as provide supportive agricultural media, innovations in environmentally friendly agricultural technology, and increase cooperation between tea farmers.
