Abstract

This research focuses on user experience through the Shopee Food feature, the aim is to determine the extent of the user experience of the Shopee Food feature service in several categories, namely gender, age and profession. In this research, the method used by the author is the heuristic evaluation method which consists of 10 aspect stages, which will be calculated based on the severity ratings formula for assessing. So the results obtained are: 10 aspects of this heuristic evaluation method, namely the first aspect: Visibility of System Status with a value of 7.863%, the second aspect: Match between the System and the Real World with a value of 8.063% , third aspect: User control and freedom with a value of 8.400%, fourth aspect consistency and standards with a value of 11.813%, fifth aspect: Error prevention with a value of 7.338%, sixth aspect: Understanding rather than warning (Recognition rather than recall) with a value of 7.413%, seventh aspect: Flexibility and efficiency of use (Flexibility and efficiency of use) with a value of 7.925%, eighth aspect: Aesthetic and minimalist design (Aesthetic and Minimalist Design) with a value of 6.275%, ninth aspect: Help users, recognize, diagnose and recover from awareness (Help user recognize, diagnose and recover from errors) with a value of 7.675%, tenth aspect: Help and documentation (Help and documentation) with a value of 8.063%.

Abstract

Nowadays the development of anime coupled with the rapid advancement of technology makes anyone can enjoy this entertainment, other Japanese popular culture products also include manga (Japanese comics), dorama (Japanese TV dramas), and Japanese popular music such as J-pop and J-rock also affect the interest in learning Japanese language and culture for young people. This research uses the Heuristic Evaluation method which is a method used to find problems in the interface design of an application and look for the positive side of the application. The data source of this research uses primary data, namely a questionnaire wheare the data collected is 15 respondents in the Makassar Jejepangan community and secondary data, namely literature studies or references from other journals. The results showed that of the 10 aspects of the Heuristic Evaluation method, there are 3 aspects that have Minor Usability Problems or there are problems that interfere with user comfort with a severity rating value of 2, or improvements are needed with a low priority level. And the other 7 aspects are worth 1 or Cosmetic Problem meaning only problems that do not affect users, and there are no aspects with a value of 0 or Don't Agree which means there are no problems at all. User Experience of Obenkyo users in the Makassar jejepangan community shows that there are more male Obenkyo users than female and some users also feel satisfied using this application.

Abstract

Water is an important element that is a basic need for the survival of all living things. Currently, public awareness about the importance of good quality water is increasing. This is due to a wider understanding of the health impacts of unclean water. Water that is clean and safe to use not only has a positive impact on our health, but also on various aspects of daily life. Therefore, research on the quality and suitability of water for consumption is very important. The aim of this research is to determine the best method for comparing water quality for suitability for consumption. This research compares two machine learning methods, namely Random Forest and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based on attributes for the suitability of drinking water, namely: PH, hardness, solids, chloramines, sulfate, conductivity, organic carbon, trihalomethanes, turbidity and potability. The research results show that the Random Forest algorithm has an accuracy rate of 67.823%, while the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm achieves an accuracy of 61.014%. From these results, it can be concluded that the Random Forest algorithm has higher accuracy compared to Artificial Neural Network (ANN).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to implement the apriori algorithm on sales transaction data of cosmetic products at Rumah Skincare 88 store so that it can help develop marketing strategies and increase sales at the store. The results of this study are that the apriori algorithm was successfully implemented on the sale of cosmetic products at the RumahSkincare88 store. The support values used are 3% and 10% and the minimum confidence values are 30% and 50%. The number of association rules generated is 17 with the highest support value of 14% and the highest confidence of 53.4%. The resulting association rule with the highest support and confidence value is if consumers buy Powder/Foundation then they will also buy Lips. The recommended marketing strategies are Cross-Selling and Bundling. For Cross-Selling strategy that can be applied is if consumers buy Powder/Foundation, then when they want to pay the cashier can offer to buy Lips as well. As for Bundling, the strategy that can be applied is to sell Face Serum and Sunscreen in one package at a special price.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in providing recommendations to potential laptop buyers at PT.Genius Computer Centre. Various laptop variants with different brands and specifications make it difficult for potential buyers to choose a laptop that suits their needs. The implementation of the SAW method is used as a basis for recommending laptops based on user requirements. SAW is a commonly used method in decision-making and involves assessments based on predefined criteria weights. The results of the SAW calculations provide recommendations for laptops that meet the user's needs, helping potential buyers choose a laptop that fits their requirements. The implementation of the SAW method in the decision support system can address the difficulties faced by potential laptop buyers at PT. Genius Computer Centre in choosing a suitable laptop and provide recommendations that can enhance their understanding of the required laptop specifications. This research has the potential to significantly improve the laptop shopping experience for potential buyers.

Abstract

The Government of Central Java Province is committed to providing information and services to the public through its digital platform, the jatengprov.go.id website. This website is designed to make it easier for the public to access information about policies, programmes, and services offered by the provincial government. However, this website is experiencing some significant performance issues while trying to provide the best digital service. Some problems with the speed and efficiency of websites were found through tests conducted using Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix. The website jatengprov.go.id received a score of 61, placing it in the middle category, according to a Google PageSpeed Insights desktop version test. However, the score dropped drastically on the mobile version, with a score of only 48, indicating poor performance on mobile devices. Although this website received a high score for SEO with a rating of 100, which indicates that it has been optimized for search engines, accessibility elements and best practices each received a score of 70 and 56. As a result of GTmetrix analysis, the website jatengprov.go.id received a "D" score with a performance score of 63% and a structural score of 62%. According to Web Vitals, Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) lasted 3.1 seconds, longer than recommended. However, the Total Blocking Time (TBT) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) values are excellent, 0.0, respectively. This suggests that, although the page does not undergo much layout changes during loading, the time it takes to display the most important components still needs to be fixed. With this change, the website jatengprov.go.id is expected to improve the user experience and support the goal of the Government of Central Java Province to provide effective and efficient digital services to the public. Regularly tracking and improving website performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix is vital.

Abstract

This research aims to design the UI/UX for a job vacancy application using the Goal Directed Design method. Data collection was conducted with 20 respondents who had used the Hi Jobs application, and the data was processed using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Based on the first evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, the average score was 33.5, with Acceptability Ranges receiving the label "Not Acceptable," Grade Scales falling into the "F" category, and Adjective Ratings categorized as "Poor." This indicates deficiencies in the user interface design of the Hi Jobs application, both in appearance and features, and it did not meet the standard System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 68.After making improvements to the Hi Jobs application, a final evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in an average score of 77. The Acceptability Ranges received the label "Acceptable," Grade Scales were in the "C" category, and Adjective Ratings were categorized as "Good." The findings of this research indicate that the Hi Jobs application, with its UI/UX design focusing on user needs and goals, allows job seekers and employers to interact easily and efficiently. This research contributes positively to the development of job vacancy applications with a focus on satisfying user experiences.

Abstract

The solar system is one of the topics in natural science lessons taught in every school. However, school learning often relies solely on textbooks, which often do not explain the material in detail. This research aims to develop an Android-based application that utilizes augmented reality (AR) technology as a medium for introducing the solar system and to implement this AR technology. The method used in this research is the markerless method, which allows the development of AR without using special markers. This method is used to track objects in the real world and project them into the virtual world without requiring special markers. The research design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), and the programming language used is C#. The result of this research is an Android-based solar system learning application. Based on the test results, the voice description is clearly audible, and the Star Tracking object can be detected well at a distance of 5 cm to 2 meters. Thus, it can be concluded that the markerless method can be implemented effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan teknologi Progressive Web Application (PWA) pada website Jahitku dengan memanfaatkan framework Laravel. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih responsif dan cepat, mirip dengan aplikasi mobile, serta memastikan aksesibilitas dalam kondisi offline. Melalui survei yang melibatkan 17 pengguna, ditemukan bahwa kebutuhan akan akses yang stabil dan cepat menjadi prioritas utama. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dan pengujian performa menggunakan alat seperti Lighthouse dan GTMetrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PWA pada website Jahitku tidak hanya memenuhi semua kriteria PWA, tetapi juga menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam performa, dengan skor Lighthouse meningkat dari 44% menjadi 99% dan GTMetrix dari 61% menjadi 97%. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya adopsi teknologi PWA dalam meningkatkan kinerja website dan memberikan nilai tambah bagi pengguna, serta membuka peluang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design over the air programming mechanism for a node in wireless sensor network. Data are gathered from experiments of the proposed system on a constrainted environment. On this design, the Arduino that becomes the target of reprogramming has it’s bootloader modified to enable the capability to run embedded program from the SD Card. Arduino’s source code .ino file is compiled into a .hex file using the Arduino IDE. Then, it is processed using avrdude application into a ready to run firmware binary file on Arduino. A desktop application is made for this mechanism in order to control sender XBee device in transmitting data packet by packet. If the transmission was successful, the node will restart itself, and trigger the bootloader to load new program from the SD Card. The system is evaluated through preset scenarios which including testing at various distances and environments (indoor and outdoor). It was concluded that the reprogramming mechanism was uneffective in transmitting source code when at least one of the XBee devices is located inside the building which affected the transmission process. For the second testing scenario, both nodes were located outdoors with testing distance up to 15 metres, resulting with average transmission speed of 35 bytes per second for sent packet size of 60 bytes. The safest sent packet size to avoid packet loss while transmitting should not exceed 30 bytes for transmission distance up to 15 metres. Transmission speed across all test scenarios ranges between 14 bytes per second to 35 bytes per second. For indoor testing, the evaluation results showed that the designed OTAP mechanism in this study is not yet effective. This is assumed to be influenced by the transmission capability of the XBee communication module.
