Abstract

The Final Project guidance process often faces obstacles such as inflexible schedules, limited space and time, and difficulties in communication between supervisors and students directly. This study aims to implement a web-based Final Project guidance system using the Laravel framework designed using the Waterfall method and the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database. Data in this study were obtained through observation, literature studies and interviews. Testing in this study was carried out using the Black Box method and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results showed that this application was feasible for use by students and lecturers with an average test score on the Usability aspect of 86.68%, on the Information Quality aspect of 84.88%, and on the Service Interaction Quality aspect of 83.86%. Based on the feasibility category interval of 81% - 100%, this system was declared very feasible for use, in addition this system was able to overcome traditional obstacles in the Final Project guidance process.

Abstract

Classes is a website-based information system application that contains such as student academic information that can be accessed by student anytime and anywhere. With Classes, it is hoped this website can help students find out academic information about each student such as student profile, attendance, teacher profile, list of grades, materials orteaching materials for each subject. Classes has a weakness, that it is still in the form of a website and not yet based on a mobile device or application, so using Classes is still less effective and efficient for users who expect a mobile version of Classes along with the development of technology. By looking at this problem, the author provides a solution by applying the Lean UX method in designing prototype for Classes mobile devices which can then be developed further so as to help users who expect a mobile display. In creating a prototype for the Classes mobile device, the author used supporting editing software, namely Figma, so that the user interface of this mobile device can present information in a friendly, interesting and informative way for Classes users according to aech user’s needs. And with this research, the author hopes that Classes can become the main access medium for all information related to student’s and teacher’s academics, and the appearance of the Classes mobile device will become more attractive in terms of appropriate User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) with user needs

Abstract

This study aims to create an Short Message Service (SMS) based security system using the Arduino platform, where the system can be applied to every corner of the village in Indonesia. The system functions to play the sound of the danger signal whether it is theft or fire. The method used to remotely or or control the system is to use the Short Message Service (SMS) Tracking method, namely by sending an SMS command to play the sound of an alarm (Mp3). The system can run well such as receiving sms and processing the contents of the sms to play mp3 files, although there is still a little delay in receiving sms and playing the mp3.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of user acceptance towards the Beli.in application using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM was chosen as the analytical tool to understand the factors influencing user acceptance of the technology. The study focused on three TAM variables: perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and actual use. Data were collected from 32 respondents using a questionnaire. The research findings showed that respondents positively accepted the Beli.in application. The percentage of agreement for the perceived ease of use variable reached 74.06%, indicating that the application is considered easy to use in the process of searching and obtaining information about products. The perceived usefulness variable reached a percentage of 67.5%, indicating that the application is considered beneficial in helping users find daily necessities. However, the actual use variable had a lower percentage at 52.5%, indicating that there is still room to improve application usage. In conclusion, the results of this study provide an overview of user perceptions towards the Beli.in application.

Abstract

"Bank Plastik" is an application that facilitates the exchange of plastic waste for money. The results of a user experience survey for the Bank Plastik application indicated several areas that require improvement, one of which is the UI/UX design. To validate the survey results, a first-stage testing was conducted to determine whether a redesign of the Bank Plastik application is necessary. Based on the first-stage testing, the original design received a score of 50.8, indicating that the score falls in the "poor" category and is below the standard SUS (System Usability Scale) score of 53. Therefore, a redesign of the UI/UX of the Bank Plastik application is deemed necessary. The User Centered Design method was employed to carry out the redesign of the Bank Plastik UI/UX to enhance the user experience when using the application. The results of the User Centered Design implementation, using the task success metric, revealed issues with tasks 1 and 2. The findings from the time on task metric showed that respondents were able to complete all tasks but faced challenges with the slide slogan page. Respondents two and five experienced delays more frequently compared to other respondents. The testing of the error metric yielded an average error rate for each task of 16% across all respondents. The results of the second stage testing demonstrated that the satisfaction score for the redesign was higher than that of the original design in the first stage, with a redesign score of 75.5, indicating an "excellent" level of satisfaction. In conclusion, based on the survey and testing results, it is clear that a redesign of the Bank Plastik application's UI/UX has been successful in improving the user experience.

Abstract

This research aims to redesign the UI/UX of the save money application. Data collection was carried out using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The data testing process uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) method developed by researchers and involving 30 respondents. After the evaluation is carried out, respondents are asked to answer the questions asked in the questionnaire and the results are used as a basis for drawing conclusions. In this research, the author redesigned the UI/UX of the save money application to make it easier for users to manage their finances. The test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method produced an average score of 79. So the results of the interpretation of the System Usability Scale (SUS) from SUS are between 68 - 80.3, so the grade is B with an adjective rating, namely Good.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the quality of the Jadwal Ibadah website based on usability, information quality, and interaction quality in relation to user satisfaction. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents and analyzed using the System Usability Scale method. The System Usability Scale method is used to produce a user interface design that meets user needs and wants, as well as to determine the usability level of a system. The website testing results yielded a score of 62, which is rated as Good. Therefore, it can be concluded that the design of the Jadwal Ibadah website user interface solves user problems and provides more accurate and precise information.

Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the usability of the SaveMoney application concerning user experience. SaveMoney is designed to notify users about their financial expenses and income. Data collection for this analysis involved literature reviews and questionnaires, employing the USE Questionnaire technique, which assesses four criteria: usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. The results, measured with a Likert scale, show that Usefulness received a score of 80.08%, Ease of Use scored 83.27%, Ease of Learning was 86.67%, and Satisfaction was 85.33%. These percentages indicate that the application performs well in these areas. Overall, the average percentage across all variables was 83.60%, suggesting that the SaveMoney application meets the standards of the USE Questionnaire.

Abstract

Rich Petshop has not utilized a priori algorithms in data mining to analyze buyer transaction data and optimize sales operations. The aim of this research is to apply an a priori algorithm to identify product bundling combinations and find association patterns that show relationships between products that are often purchased together. The a priori algorithm process includes data transformation, determining minimum support and confidence values, forming association rules, and finding lift ratio values. Sales data for 1 year (June 2023 - May 2024) was processed using Microsoft Excel and Rapidminer. With a minimum support value of 2% and a minimum confidence of 20%, several important association rules are produced. For example, the relationship between "Pasir Chiro Plus" and "Cat choize adult" and "Furlove Pouch 80gr" and "Cou cou pouch 85gr". These association rules provide valuable insights for Rich Petshop to craft innovative product bundling packages, increase customer interest, drive sales growth and strengthen market position.

Abstract

This study aims to design an efficient calorie counter application using Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM). The use of the Model-View-ViewModel design pattern is based on efforts to facilitate the process of reusing source code (Reusability). The design process uses flutter as an application framework. This research can be used as a reference regarding the Model-View-ViewModel, as well as providing new knowledge for researchers regarding the combination of the Model-View-ViewModel design pattern with the flutter framework on the android platform. Data collection in this study was carried out through literature studies and evaluation of the system design. The application was developed using the Dart programming language, while the evaluation of the implementation of MVVM design pattern is measured by using CK metrics. The evaluation shows that the MVVM calorie counter application can be run on Bluestacks Android Emulator successfully. The reusability degree of the application is better than the non-MVVM calorie counter apps, where the WMC parameter decreased by 4.5 points, and the DIT parameter by 0.3 points, while the CBO parameter decreased by 0.4 points, and the LCOM parameter by 31.2 points. The results indicate that the MVVM calorie counter application is easier to maintain.
