Abstract

Now, digital existence is moving faster and faster among the activities of billions of people. With it, each individual is integrated. On the other hand, digital concepts continue to transform and capture everyone's attention. Various literacies also discuss the good sides, challenges and opportunities of digital for humans and their generations. Added to this is the innovation of copying machines whose functions are not far from humans. It's called Artificial Intelligence (AI), a human-made intelligent machine designed to make human work easier. Finally, several opinions say that this machine will be a big threat if not managed properly. In this article the author will explain the existence of digital AI from a Christian perspective. Because like it or not, the church must accept and apply AI technology and media in its ministry to repair a broken world. However, modern technology will deny God's birth when it is in the wrong hands with the wrong motivation. David in his composition in (Psalm 40:4), reminds us that God is the creator of all good things for the glory of His name, not to destroy His creation. In another sense, digital was designed not for humanity's fall into sin, but instead for the work of salvation through the redemption He provided. In order to avoid misunderstandings about the existence of digitalization, the author will clarify the concept of digital in church music by providing a general overview of developing theories.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the importance of religious policy in creating harmony between religious communities in the context of plural society in Indonesia. As a country rich in cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, Indonesia faces significant challenges in maintaining social harmony. Although the 1945 Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, the implementation of policies often does not provide fair treatment, especially for minority groups. Through a qualitative approach that relies on literature reviews, statistical data, and interviews with stakeholders, this study highlights the importance of the role of Pancasila as the foundation of the state in building harmony. Pancasila contains universal values that encourage respect for differences and the need to create inclusive and fair policies. This study also identifies challenges in the implementation of religious policies, including the emergence of discrimination and resistance from certain groups. It is emphasized that interfaith dialogue and education on harmony are very important in fostering a tolerant attitude. In order to achieve this goal, collaboration between the government, religious institutions, and civil society needs to be strengthened. Overall, the results of the study show that through fair policies and active community participation, a harmonious environment can be created, where every individual is valued and recognized regardless of religious background

Abstract

The life of prayer is a responsibility to set aside time to pray, to be disciplined in building a relationship with God, to have self-submission and reverence toward God, and to make prayer a necessity. Meanwhile, a prayer tower is an activity of prayer, praise, and worship that has taken place and is currently ongoing. The Tabernacle of David is a representation of the prayer tower in the Old Testament era, while the Upper Room is a representation of the prayer tower in the New Testament era. As believers, we need to correctly understand the theological foundations of the prayer tower, so that we do not misapply it in our Christian lives. The prayer tower is a crucial element in the harvesting of souls in these end times and serves as a trigger to help us participate in fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.

Abstract

This research examines the meaning of unity and care in the growth of the early church based on Acts 2:1-47. Unity and care are two fundamental values that become the main foundation in building a healthy, harmonious, and dynamic faith community. This study uses a qualitative-theological approach with literature study as the main method, combining analysis of biblical texts and review of theological literature and previous research on early church growth. The main arguments of this study include: (1) unity as the foundation of church growth that strengthens spiritual and social bonds, (2) care as a form of love that strengthens solidarity and service in the community, and (3) synergy between unity and care that encourages holistic church growth. The study results show that unity and care not only complement each other but also become an effective driving force in building a vibrant and fruitful church. The theological and practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening the fellowship of prayer, teaching the word, and sincere social service in the context of today's church. This research provides strategic recommendations for the development of the contemporary church in order to emulate the Christian values that have proven to be the key to the growth of the early church..

Abstract

This article explores the reality of human trafficking in the Batam and Riau Islands region, one of Indonesia’s primary trafficking hotspots due to its strategic location as a gateway to neighboring countries. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research investigates the awareness and role of local churches in responding to this phenomenon. The findings reveal that many churches remain unaware of the theological connection between faith and social responsibility toward trafficking victims. However, some churches have begun transforming into liberating communities through ministries of restoration and advocacy. This study recommends a transformative diakonia approach and liberation theology as frameworks for the church to act as an agent of social justice in a world marked by oppression.

Abstract

This study aims to explore discipleship in the younger generation finding their true identity in Christ in today's digital era. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study involved young people and young adults who are active in church communities. In this case, the younger generation in searching for identity in the digital era, finding true identity in Christ through discipleship requires the development of a discipleship approach that is responsive to complex social and digital dynamics. By integrating technology and interactive learning methods, discipleship can increase the relevance and effectiveness of programs offered to the younger generation. Through proper guidance, discipleship not only helps individuals recognize their identity in faith but also equips them with the skills and beliefs to contribute positively to society. The results of the study indicate that discipleship functions as a process of spiritual learning and in-depth character building, which strengthens the values of love, sacrifice, and commitment to the teachings of Christ. Through interactions in discipleship groups, young people are empowered to share hopes and challenges, strengthen a sense of solidarity, and discuss issues that are relevant to their lives. Thus, discipleship becomes a vital tool in forming a strong identity and guiding young people towards a meaningful life in line with their calling of faith.

Abstract

Church community development programs play a crucial role in building strong faith foundations and facilitating both personal and communal transformation. This study explores how such programs can serve as vehicles for individual spiritual growth and the strengthening of congregational identity and solidarity. Using a literature review and theological practical analysis, this research finds that church formation is not only intrapersonal but also intersocial, creating a dynamic and relevant faith ecosystem amidst modern challenges. The findings highlight the need to integrate doctrinal, relational, and service oriented dimensions in church formation to effectively respond to fragmented faith and social disengagement among congregants. This study contributes novelty by presenting a holistic formation model that combines theological, psychological, and social aspects within the context of local Indonesian churches.
