EDU RESEARCH : Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh IICLS (Indonesian Institute for Corporate Learning and Studies), dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta sharing perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan proses pembelajaran. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel. Penerbitan jurnal ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga bulan sekali yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan konsep adab dan etika akademik pada mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan dan umum. Studi deskriptif kualitatif pada mahasiswa Fakultas Agama dan Fakultas Umum. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, survei online, dan pencatatan. Untuk mengevaluasi reduksi, penyajian, dan kesimpulan data. Wawancara semi-terstruktur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sudut pandang, pengalaman, dan kesan responden tentang topik penelitian. Penelitian ini mewawancarai 40 mahasiswa - 20 dari Fakultas Agama dan 20 dari fakultas umum. Mayoritas responden berusia di bawah 20 tahun (67,5%) dan sebagian besar adalah perempuan (77,5%). Responden terbagi rata dari kedua fakultas (masing-masing 50%) dan mayoritas memulai studi setelah tahun 2020 (97,5%), menunjukkan adanya perubahan dalam budaya akademik dan teknologi. Mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan mengartikan adab sebagai etika, tata krama, dan perilaku baik berdasarkan ajaran agama. Sebaliknya, mahasiswa fakultas umum memandang adab sebagai nilai dan perilaku yang menciptakan suasana belajar sopan dan bermartabat. Etika akademik bagi mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan mencakup prinsip-prinsip moral dan nilai-nilai luhur seperti kejujuran dan integritas. Bagi mahasiswa fakultas umum, etika akademik adalah seperangkat prinsip moral yang mengatur perilaku profesional dan keputusan moral dalam kegiatan akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan lebih menekankan pentingnya adab dan etika akademik (50%) dibandingkan mahasiswa fakultas umum (47,5%). Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan adab serta etika akademik di kampus, direkomendasikan penyelenggaraan seminar, workshop, diskusi terbuka, penegakan aturan konsisten, dan pengembangan program pengawasan. Mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan menyoroti pentingnya sosialisasi dan kampanye kesadaran, sedangkan mahasiswa fakultas umum menekankan pendidikan dan pelatihan rutin serta penciptaan budaya akademik yang menghargai kejujuran dan integritas. Perbedaan utama antara adab dan etika akademik menurut mahasiswa fakultas keagamaan adalah bahwa adab berfokus pada norma perilaku sosial, sedangkan etika akademik menekankan prinsip-prinsip moral dan nilai intelektual. Mahasiswa fakultas umum melihat adab sebagai norma perilaku sehari-hari, sementara etika akademik berfokus pada prinsip moral dan nilai-nilai dalam kegiatan akademik

Abstract

Teachers’ view on learning can affect the learning process. Differentiated learning can used for implement learning. Differentiated learning is a way of learning by paying attention to students’ need by conducting assessments and implemented learning in accordance with the students. Implementation of differentiated learning are still new at school makes some teachers are still figure it out what is differentiated learning and how to implemented it at class. Based on that, the researcher wantsto give an overview of teacher perceptions of differentiated learning among elementary school teacher at Gandasari II elementary school. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method to find out the overview of teachers’ perceptions in school. The intended participants in this research are teacher who had implemented differentiated learning, classes I, II, IV, and V at Gandasari II elementary school. Data were collected through interviews and observations. To analyze data researchersselected data, presented data, dan drew conclusions. Based on research data, teachers already had a positive perception of differentiated learning. It’s seen from the teacher’s perception that it already matches the concept of differentiated learning. However, in the application of differentiated learning there are several things that are not in line with the concept of differentiated learning. The obstacles experienced by teachers vary, which are found at the beginning, implementation, and end of learning.

Abstract

Sex education in schools is aimed to help children to understand everything related to sexuality within themselves, so that they can live their social life in the right way and in accordance with science. Sex education is not a taboo, it is as important as other lessons that should be given especially to elementary school children. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding sex education in Kadipaten District.The population in this research were all elementary school teachers in Kadipaten District, with a total of 190 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique, the final sample used amounted to 112 respondents. This technique was chosen by considering certain criteria relevant to the research objectives. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires covering aspects of everyone's rights, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, sexual violence, sexual behavior, community habits, experience of sexuality education, perceptions and knowledge of teachers regarding sexuality education. The results obtained from this study indicate that there is a significant negative relationship between the knowledge and perceptions of elementary school teachers regarding sex education in Kadipaten District. Although the majority of teachers had good knowledge and 78.2% of respondents reported learning sex education at school, challenges in its implementation remain. This is mainly related to the existing social and cultural norms in the community, where sex education is often considered taboo or sensitive. Gender stereotypes and lack of support from parents and communities are also factors that affect the effectiveness of teaching sex education. Thus, it is important to overcome these barriers so that sex education can be effectively implemented in the basic education curriculum.

Abstract

This article aims to identify the lexical and contextual meanings in “Billboard Global 200” Top 1 song lyrics of 2024 and to explain the implementation of lexical and contextual meanings for teaching English as a foreign language. The researchers selected three songs that Top 1 in "Billboard Global 200" of 2024. This study is needed as a song becomes interesting to listen to, but often the instruments cause a misunderstanding, and even listeners do not realize the true lyrical meaning that the songwriter wants to convey. The qualitative research and descriptive approach are used as the methodology for analyzing lexical and contextual meanings. In this study, the researchers found thirty-five findings contained lexical and contextual meanings in selected three song lyrics. In detail, there were six words/ phrases and one expression in the Beautiful Things song lyric; seven words/ phrases and five expressions in the We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love) song lyric; and three words/ phrases and thirteen expressions in the Too Sweet song lyric. Furthermore, lexical and contextual meaning analysis in “Billboard Global 200” song lyrics can be used as an alternative to teaching English as a foreign language to enhance reading comprehension and writing ability. Abstract

Media pembelajaran merujuk pada elemen penting dalam konteks kegiatan belajar mengajar. Inovasi dalam media pembelajaran memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan aspek-aspek tertentu dari proses pembelajaran, termasuk pemahaman konsep, efisiensi pembelajaran, percepatan akuisisi pengetahuan, dan intensifikasi interaksi pembelajaran. Pembelajaran di SD Negeri Talun baik namun terkadang kurangnya inovasi media pembelajaran membuat pembelajaran menjadi kurang menyenangkan alhasil siswa sulit memahami materi dan merasa bosan. Salah satu bentuk inovasi dalam media pembelajaran adalah video pembelajaran motion graphic. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui kelayakan media dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Talun terhadap media pembelajaran motion graphic. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah R&D ( Research and Development ) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D ( Define, Design, Development and Disseminate ). Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari dosen ahli dibidangnya, siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Talun dan guru wali kelas yang bertanggung jawab atas pengajaran di kelas yang menjadi fokus penelitian. Penelitian dilaksanakan di satu institusi pendidikan dasar yang berlokasi di Jl. Talun Kidul RT 03 RW 05, Talun, Kec. Sumedang Utara, Kab. Sumedang, Jawa Barat yaitu SD Negeri Talun. Metode pengambilan data dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini mencakup observasi, dan kuesioner. Dengan intrumen penelitian berupa lembar uji validasi dan kuesioner respon siswa. Media pembelajaran ini dikembangkan melalui bantuan aplikasi Canva Pro dan KineMaster. Hasil uji validasi kelayakan video pembelajaran motion graphic ini mencapai persentase 85,8% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran motion graphic mencapai persentase 85,2% dengan kategori “sangat positif”. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan video pembelajaran motion graphic pada materi peta dan komponennya dapat digunakan menjadi media pembelajaran di SD Negeri Talun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student learning achievement in terms of the regularity dimension. The regularity dimension includes aspects such as discipline, responsibility, and self-regulation in the learning process. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational research type. The sample in this study was 150 students from various study programs at a university. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation of student academic grades. The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the regularity dimension and student learning achievement. Students with a high level of regularity tend to have better learning achievement compared to students with a low level of regularity. The regularity dimension that has the most influence on learning achievement is responsibility and self-regulation in the learning process. The higher the level of student responsibility and self-regulation, the better the learning achievement achieved. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen student character development programs that focus on increasing regularity, especially the aspects of responsibility and self-regulation. This is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of student learning achievement.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces challenges in dealing with the changing times and the demands of contemporary education. This study aims to analyze the PAI curriculum in facing the challenges of contemporary education. The research method used is a literature study by examining various sources related to the PAI curriculum and contemporary educational issues. The results of the research show that there are several aspects that need to be analyzed in developing a PAI curriculum that is relevant to the challenges of contemporary education, namely: 1) The relevance of the PAI curriculum to the needs of students and the development of the times; 2) Strengthening the spiritual dimension in the PAI curriculum to overcome moral decadence; 3) Integration of science and religion in the PAI curriculum; 4) Development of 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration; 5) Strengthening digital literacy in the PAI curriculum; and 6) Contextual learning that is relevant to the real life of students. Analysis of these aspects is expected to produce a PAI curriculum that can prepare students to face the challenges of contemporary education, so that the goals of Islamic religious education can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya landasan teori dalam karya ilmiah, serta peran kajian pustaka sebagai fondasi penelitian. Teori Landasan berfungsi sebagai pijakan ilmiah untuk mengembangkan argumen, mengarahkan metodologi penelitian, menganalisis data, dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya landasan teori dalam karya ilmiah, yang berperan sebagai dasar pemikiran, pengarah metodologi, alat analisis data, serta pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Kajian pustaka atau tinjauan pustaka menjadi langkah penting untuk mendalami penelitian terdahulu, menghindari duplikasi, serta memperkuat penelitian baru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, yang bertujuan mengeksplorasi peran landasan teori dalam penulisan ilmiah. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka dari berbagai literatur ilmiah, buku, dan jurnal. Analisis konten digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama terkait peran landasan teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa landasan teori tidak hanya memberikan kerangka pemikiran yang jelas, tetapi juga membantu dalam pemilihan metodologi yang tepat, validasi, dan interpretasi data, serta memungkinkan kontribusi ilmiah yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, landasan teori memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dan memastikan integritas ilmiah.

Abstract

Reproduction system items relate to everyday life and a lot of sentences of alqur'an which can be integrated study to can remain to relate values of islam. MAN 1 Kerinci seen that teaching materials used by teacher still have the character of teacher and public do not have teaching materials which relate values of islam. so that study reproduction system items which is tend to theoretical and seldom be developed by connecting items with problem of social exist in environment. Pursuant to the mentioned, so the research with aim to yield product in the form of LKPD base on Kontekstual by inculcating values of islam. Developed LKPD using model of EDDIE. Data collecting with validated by expert and practitioner, That it was tried out on a limited basis in class XI MIPA 1 and MIPA 2 MAN 1 Kerinci to know the pacticality and effectiveness. Based on the result of this research, it was known that the LKPD is in very valid level. The practicability test of the LKPD is in very practice. The effectiveness of the LKPD can be seen from the students activities and cognitive, evaluation were in very good criteria. The conclusion of this research is the LKPD contextual based inculcating value of islam of reproduction system was declared valid, practice, and effective.

Abstract

The problem behind this research is to see how much students are interested in the Physical Education and Recreational Health (PJKR) study program, and the factors that influence student interest in the PJKR study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung in 2024/2025. The purpose of this study was to find out how much students are interested in entering the Physical Education and Recreational Health (PJKR) study program. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with survey methods for collecting data in the form of material expert sheets, linguists and questionnaires (questionnaires). The subjects in this study were as many as 80 new students entering the Physical Education and Recreational Health study program (PJKR) at the University of Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung were tested statistically with the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that the analysis of student interest in the Physical Education and Recreational Health and Recreation Study Program (PJKR) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung in 2024/2025. There are internal factors, namely Motivation with a percentage of 90.52%, Aspirations with a percentage of 88.85%, Desire with a percentage of 89.37%, Family Education with a percentage of 84.53%, Economics with a percentage of 86.56%, School environment with a a percentage of 84.68%, friends with a percentage of 83.12% and teachers with a percentage of 84.89%. And external factors, namely feeling happy with a percentage of 92.18%, interest with a percentage of 87.81%, tendencies with a percentage of 84.68%, activity with a percentage of 86.87. So that things that play a high role from external factors are feelings of pleasure with a percentage of 92.18%.
