Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain the important role of brand and brand loyalty inmarketing activities. This paper also explains the antecedents of brand loyalty. The role of a branddoes not only actas a name, but also increasing the company's competitive advantage. The benefitsof a brand for consumers are, among many others, for emotional, self and social expression,attitudes, values and culture benefits. In the mean time, the role of brand loyalty in marketingis to contribute to the survival of the company, to increase new customer opportunities as well asto reduce marketing costs. To improve a brand loyalty, a companyshould increase its brand trustin advance as it plays an important role in improving brand loyalty. A cpmpany brand trust hastwo dimensions of intention and reliability. Brand affect, on the other hand, is an important forimproving a brand loyalty. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Dewan Komisaris, Komisaris Independen, Dan Dps Terhadap Corporate Social Responsibility Berdasarkan Islamic Social Reporting Pada Bank Syariah di Indonesia Tahun 2016 – 2018. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perbankan syariah Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 10 perbankan syariah. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari Laporan Keuangan per tahun perbankan syariah tahun 2016-2018. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, uji statistik t, uji F, uji koefiisien determinasi, dan uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji autokorelasi, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel independen secara simultan (uji F) berpengaruh terhadap Corporate Social Responsibility, Komisaris Independen mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap CSR. Sedangkan Dewan Komisaris mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap CSR.

Abstract

The study was aimed to find out whether or not the emotional intelligence, communication, and working environment individually have a significant effect to the work performance of the civil servants. The respondents in the study were all the state servants working in three public service offices, including the Office of Integrated Investement and Business Permits, the Vehicle-Tax Payment Office (Samsat), and the Office of Population and Civil Administration. The sampling method was a saturated sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Based on the result of analysis, it could be concluded that the variables of emotional intelligence, and working environment individually have no significant effect to the work performance of the employees. One variable having a significant effect on the work performance among the civil servants is the communication. However, the three variables simultenaously have significant effects to their performance. From the findings, it is suggested that the offices should explore more deeply the emotional intelligence, communication, and the working environment to improve their staffs. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk menguji perbedaan return dan abnormal return pada bulan Januari dan selain bulan Januari pada indeks JII. Sampel yang digunakan adalah saham perusahaan yang termasuk pada indeks JII, penelitian ini merupakan event study sehingga pada periode pengamatan akan melihat reaksi pada sebelum, saat, dan sesudah event. Pada penelitian ini, periode yang digunakan adalah H- 10 (sebelum event), H0 (saat event) dan H+10 (sesudah event). Sumber data diperoleh dari yahoo finance, sahamok.com dan IDX. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, diantaranya adalah harga penutupan saham yang sudah disesuaikan (adjusted closing price) dan harga penutupan IHSG. Data berupa harga saham harian (daily stock price). Data-data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jika dilihat return saham (Rit) pada tahun 2014 dan 2015 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan return dan memberikan adanya signal adanya January Effect sedangkan untuk tahun 2016 hasilnya berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya karena hasilnya tidak menunjukkan perbedaan return dan dipastikan tidak ada indikasi January effect. Untuk abnormal return (AR) untuk semua tahun penelitian (2014, 2015, 2016) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan AR dan memberikan signal adanya January Effect sehingga memengaruhi para pelaku pasar dalam mengambil keputusan.

Abstract

This research was aimed at knowing the mutual fund’ performance of fixed-incom profit sharing (syariah) and comparing it to LQ45 indeks through sharpe, Jensen and Tteynor method in 2012. The proposed hypothesis was that there was a significant defference between the mutual funds’ performance of fixed-incom profit sharing (syariah) and comparing it to LQ45 indeks through sharpe, Jensen and Treynor method. The method of this reaserch was descriptive qualitative even though the data obtained was quantitatuf data. The population of this research was the fixed-income mutual funds which actively operated in Indonesia reffering to BAPEPAM during 2012. Thesample was taken through purposive sampling. There were 7 mutual funds which were analyzed. The data which were used in this research was the data of monthly NAB. Therefore the data wara totally 84 items. The data analysis was through paired sample-test. The result of this research was that the mutual funds’ performance of fixed-income profit sharing (syariah) with the method of sharpe was better than the performance of LQ45 with the average score 1224.83 while the LQ45 index score was -0.003608758. however, the statistical test did not show thesignificant difference. By using treynor method, both the mutual funds’ performance of fixed-income profit sharing (syariah) and LQ45 index were similarly positive, but the t-test computation did not show the significant difference. In addition, by using Jensen method, there was no significant difference between the mutual funds’ performance of fixed-income profit sharing (syariah) and LQ45 index after the t-test computation. Abstract

This was a quantitative research aiming to find out the effect of every variable studied namely advertisement on television, brand equity, attraction of celebrity endorser towards the decision of buying Wardah cosmetic product. The sampling technique used in this research was non probability technique in a form of purposive sampling method that determines samples based on certain criteria. The population of this research was all students in University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, and the samples of this research involved 125 respondents. The methods of data analysis used in were validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regressions analysis, coeffiecient of determination, and hypothesis test. The result of analysis showed that advertisement on television partially affected positively towards the decision of buying, and the hypotesis was accepted with tobtained 3,582 > ttable 1,979, equity affected positively towards the decision of buying, and the hypothesis was accepted with tobtained 6,317 > ttable 1,979, celebrity endorser affected towards the decision of buying with tobtained 2,841 > ttable 1,979. Furthermore, the independent variables (advertisement on television, brand equity, and celebrity endorser) simultaneously affected the dependent variable (decision of buying) . Abstract

Generasi milenial merupakan generasi yang sangat berpengaruh dalam hal penggunaan internet. Generasi tersebut juga menjadi generasi yang paling banyak dan marak dalam berbelanja secara online. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegunaan, estetika, interaksi, dan bauran pemasaran pada perilaku pembelian secara online baik secara parsial maupunsimultan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif (explanatory research). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pelanggan toko online Shoppe yang berjumlah sebanyak 118 responden. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel kegunaan, interaksi, estetika, dan bauran permasaran pada perilaku pembelian online baik secara parsial dan simultan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa generasi milenial yang membeli pada aplikasi shopee merasa sangat mengetahui menggunakan aplikasi shopee dengan berbagai macam fiturnya dan hal tersebut sangat memengaruhi pada perilaku pembelian secara online.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk a) dampak pandemic Covid-19 bagi driver ojek online di tengan persaingan dengan ojek online lainnya, b) motivasi driver ojek online. Metode yang diunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara random di Wilayah Kota Serang Banten. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2021 yang melibatkan 15 informan driver ojek online dari berbagai aplikasi ojek online. Proses pemilihan informan kunci dan informan lainnya menggelinding seperti bola salju (snowball) Agar validitas data meningkat, peneliti melakukan cek, recek dan crosscek serta memperlama waktu wawancara dengan informan. Metode penambilan data menggunakan pengamatan partisipatif, wawancara secara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah penelitian kualitatif antara lain pengumpulan data, klasifikasi data sesuai dengan tema, penyaringan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan; a) Driver ojek online di Kota Serang, Banten merasakan dampak buruk dari pandemic Covid-19 ini dengan menurunnya pendapatannya; b) Penurunan pendapatan ojek di kota Serang pada masa pandemic Covid-19 ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor antara lain; jam kerja, bonus insentif, area hotspots, kebijakan pemerintah dan persaingan dengan ojek online dari perusahaan lain; c) motivasi kerja ojek online karena kebutuhan keluarga yang semakin tinggi.

Abstract

This study to get empirical evidence that the EVA, MVA, Residual income, Earnings and operating cash flow affect the return earned by shareholders, either partially or simultaneously. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, with the criteria of the company that is always inclouded in the LQ-45 index listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the observation period of 2011-2014. Companies used in the sample have a positifve data. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression test. The result of this study concluded that the MVA, residual income and operating cash flows simultaneously affected the return earned by shareholders. MVA partially had no effect on returns received by shareholders. Residual income partially had an effect on returns received by shareholders. Operating cash flow partially had an influence on return received by shareholders. The second and the fifth hypothesis in this study could not be tested because EVA variables and earnings experienced multi co linearity, thus it was excluded from the study.
