Abstract

The system's slow and inflexible response time is a characteristic of analytical processes based on transactional databases (OLTP), as experienced by PT Asuransi "X." This limitation arises because transactional databases are not designed for OLAP, which can provide various functions to perform synthesis and analysis that improve response time. This study aims to design and develop an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) application to be used for customer profiling analysis at insurance company "X." In the insurance industry, effective and efficient data analysis is essential to understand customer behavior, perform segmentation, and make more informed decisions in marketing insurance products. The OLAP application developed in this study integrates various customer data dimensions, such as demographics, claim history, and owned products, facilitating multidimensional analysis for its users. The application design process includes system design, data collection, OLAP technology implementation, and application testing. The study results indicate that the application reveals that the majority of customers are male (56%), aged between 30 and 45 years (45%), and employed in the private sector. Additionally, in the city of Surabaya, there is a higher tendency to purchase the Mitra Sakinah life insurance policy. This information enables the company to better understand customer demographic characteristics and tailor its marketing strategies accordingly.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, so it is important to identify risk factors that can contribute to the development of this disease in order to carry out early prevention. This study aims to identify patterns of association between risk variables and the incidence of heart disease using the Association Rule Mining (ARM) method combined with the A priori algorithm. The data used in this study includes lifestyle information, medical history, and other health parameters, obtained from the UCI Machine Learning repository. The analysis results showed that with a support value between 30% and 70%, the strongest association rule was found between sex (sex = 1) and angina (exang = 1), with a lift value of 1.67, indicating a strong positive relationship towards a positive diagnosis (target = 1). In addition, other moderate association rules were found, such as the combination of cp_1 = 1 and ca_0 = 1, with a lift value of about 0.73, indicating a weaker association. These findings suggest that some attribute combinations have higher predictive power, which can be used to improve prediction models in the medical diagnosis of heart disease. This research also highlights the main challenges faced by the A priori algorithm, such as computational complexity and selecting the right threshold to obtain significant rules

Abstract

Ruangguru is an online non-formal education application in Indonesia. There are several appealing features that encourage students to study online. The app's release on the Google Play Store will assist app developers in receiving feedback through the review feature.Users submit various topics and comments about Ruangguru in the review feature of Ruangguru, making it difficult to manually identify public sentiments and topics of conversation. Opinions submitted by users on the review feature are interesting to research further. This study aims to classify user opinions into positive and negative classes and model topics in both classes. Topic modeling aims to find out the topics that are often discussed in each class. The stages of this study include data collection, data cleaning, data transformation, and data classification with the Support Vector Machine method and the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method for topic modeling. The results of topic modeling with the LDA method in each positive and negative class can be seen from the coherence value. Namely, the higher the coherence value of a topic, the easier the topic is interpreted by humans. The testing process in this study used Confusion Matrix and ROUGE. The results of model performance testing using the Confusion Matrix are shown with accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure values of 0.9, 0.9, 0.9, and 0.89, respectively. The results of model performance testing using ROUGE resulted in the highest recall, precision, and f-measure of 1, 0.84, and 0.91. The highest coherence value is found in the 20th topic, with a value of 0.318. Using the Support Vector Machine and Latent Dirichlet Allocation algorithms are considered adequate for sentiment analysis and topic modeling for the Ruangguru application.

Abstract

The development of feminism, which is centered on women all over the world who want to be free of male pressure, oppression, and inequality, has continued to the present day. Various public opinions about feminism are now being expressed on various social media platforms. There has been a long debate about feminism's critics and supporters in terms of equalizing women's intellectual and the role of women in making decisions. Not only that, but the desire to end acts of violence and injustice against women is a form of feminism that is often taken for granted, even in the legal realm. The purpose of this study was to examine public sentiment based on opinions shared on social media. Hashtags related to feminism from social media are the main data that will be used to analyze public opinion sentiments about feminism. In this study, 500 tweets were used, and the data was later separated into positive, negative, and neutral opinions before being analyzed using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The results of this study obtained an accuracy of 72%, indicating that the use of SVM to perform sentiment analysis on Twitter data is quite good.

Abstract

Residence is the most important means of life as a place to gather with family and build a peaceful and harmonious family. The realization of community welfare and quality human resources can be characterized by an improvement in the standard of living. This research took an alternative location to the villages located in Rumbai district, namely Sri Meranti, Umban Sari, Palas, Lembah Damai, Limbungan Baru, Meranti Pandak. The criteria used are at least 6 criteria with the AHP Method and Satisficing Model. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method compares based on human perception, the AHP method can be strengthened by the Satisficing Models method because the Satisficing Models method in this case is a comparison method that calculates real financial or economic value with the human perception method. Thus, it can be concluded from this application and research that the Satisficing Models Method is a supporting method or method to strengthen the feasibility of the AHP method. The AHP method compares only six sides of the compared criteria in this DSS, while the Satisficing Models method compares all six financial aspects. In this case, the recommended alternative location to select is the one with the highest rating result in the AHP method - The Satisficing Model.
