Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the competencies of students at SMKN 7 Padang in smartphone-based video production. The training was designed to bridge the skills gap between the creative industry’s demands and the students’ current abilities, particularly those in the Broadcasting and Filmmaking department. The implementation used a participatory approach through several stages: needs assessment, material development, technical training, production practice, editing using CapCut, and evaluation through questionnaires. A total of 40 students participated and were divided into four groups to support collaborative practice. The results show significant improvement in both technical skills and creativity. Participants successfully produced audiovisual works based on scripts and demonstrated progress in shooting, editing, and digital publication. Questionnaire results indicated very high satisfaction levels, with implementation indicators above 71% and outcome indicators above 90%, reflecting the program’s effectiveness in enhancing students’ knowledge and skills. Recommendations include advanced training on directing, advanced editing, YouTube channel management, and strengthened collaboration between higher education institutions and schools.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kinerja dan transparansi informasi organisasi, termasuk pada organisasi kemasyarakatan seperti Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP-PKK). Pengelolaan kegiatan TP-PKK Kabupaten Agam yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional menghadirkan berbagai kendala, antara lain dalam dokumentasi kegiatan, distribusi informasi, koordinasi lintas jenjang, serta aksesibilitas informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web guna mendukung pengelolaan administrasi dan keterbukaan informasi TP-PKK Kabupaten Agam. Objek penelitian mencakup pengelolaan administrasi dan pendataan dasawisma pada seluruh tingkatan struktur organisasi, yaitu kabupaten, kecamatan, nagari, hingga dasawisma. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan mengacu pada model *waterfall*, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dalam forum diskusi bersama TP-PKK Kabupaten Agam. Pengembangan sistem dilaksanakan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data PostgreSQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mampu mengakomodasi pencatatan buku administrasi TP-PKK, pendataan dasawisma, serta penyusunan laporan berjenjang dari tingkat keluarga hingga kabupaten. Pengujian fungsional membuktikan bahwa seluruh modul sistem beroperasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan administrasi TP-PKK Kabupaten Agam. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi berbasis web yang dikembangkan berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan mendukung keterbukaan informasi dalam TP-PKK Kabupaten Agam, sekaligus menjadi langkah awal dalam transformasi digital organisasi tersebut.

Abstract

The emergence of large language models such as ChatGPT has created unprecedented opportunities for automating software development processes, particularly within the machine learning domain. This study aims to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of ChatGPT in generating machine learning code for image classification tasks using the Keras framework. The research employs an experimental methodology utilizing the MNIST dataset, comprising 70,000 handwritten digit images. A systematic series of experiments was conducted through progressive prompting strategies, ranging from basic model construction to comprehensive evaluation protocols. The findings demonstrate that ChatGPT successfully generated 100% executable code without errors, with the resulting models achieving 99% accuracy on the test dataset. A notable discovery emerged in the form of "intelligent deviation" phenomena, wherein ChatGPT autonomously provided Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures despite explicit requests for fully connected layers, demonstrating sophisticated contextual understanding. The generated code quality met professional standards with robust multi-library integration capabilities. This research provides the first systematic empirical contribution regarding large language model capabilities in machine learning code generation, offering significant implications for democratizing artificial intelligence technology access within educational and research contexts.
