Abstract

People's lives are busy with activities outside the house, often crushing small things like turning the lights off, doing outdoor activities until late at night, dark housing conditions are very potentially criminal. The technology used to solve such problems is something of an automatic nature. Automatic technology is a home light that can turn on and off automatically. The method used is a qualitative method that has descriptive properties, i.e. the researcher describes a phenomenon with accurate data and is systematically studied. Automatic light design with a light sensor that inserts a program in an Arduino uno module that can give instructions of light on and off. The light sensor connected to the relay as an automatic switch is heavily dependent on the light resistance value received by the light sensor. When the light sensor receives less than 200, the light goes off. When at night the resistance values received by a light sensor are more than 200 then the light is automatically lit. The automatic light design uses the Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) light sensor module that can automatically turn off the light through the resistant value received from the light Sensor, and can use the timer as a form of system development when the light becomes uncertain and occurs in the rainy season. A timer can direct the schedule to turn on and off the lights as needed.

Abstract

Motor vehicle theft continues to pose a significant issue, primarily due to the vulnerability of security systems relying on manual keys. Thieves are well-versed in exploiting this weakness, necessitating innovative solutions. This study's objective is to design a tool that employs a GPS tracker and SMS to provide precise location coordinates. Additionally, it aims to deter motor vehicle theft by interrupting the electric current flow in the vehicle. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method based on prior research, the outcome is a system capable of providing location points at extensive distances beyond conventional vehicle boundaries. In summary, this device interacts by sending pre-programmed commands to Arduino Uno, with ON functioning to activate electrical systems, OFF for deactivation, and LOCATION for requesting navigational position messages.

Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) can be used as a concept of organizational resource planning and management to generate added value for the company. PT. Laba Usaha Mandiri as an oil palm plantation startup is trying to improve its organization by trying to implement an ERP system to support daily operations. It is important that the ERP system selection process is carried out properly and correctly. And due to budget reasons, open source ERP was chosen for this problem. The selection of ERP system software for this company became the subject of a survey using quantitative methods using primary data and secondary data as samples. The results of testing and analysis using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology are expected to be a guideline for the management of PT. Laba Usaha Mandiri to choose their ERP correctly

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui cara penggunaan fitur kalkulator warisan pada aplikasi NU Online. Metode dalam artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penelitian kepustakaan (library study), yaitu metode pengumpulan data dengan memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah fitur kalkulator warisan pada aplikasi NU Online sangat berguna untuk membagi warisan bagi umat Islam. Apalagi sekarang sudah zaman yang menggunakan teknologi, salah satunya telepon seluler. Hal ini tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa sebagian besar umat Islam saat ini belum memahami pembagian warisan menurut ajaran Islam, dan dengan adanya fitur kalkulator warisan ini menjadi solusi untuk mempermudah pembagian warisan. Selain itu, fitur ini merupakan bentuk kolaborasi atau keselarasan antara perkembangan teknologi (AI) dengan ajaran agama Islam.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam mendorong Industri 4.0. yang mengacu pada transformasi industri yang didorong oleh teknologi digital, termasuk AI, Internet of Things (IoT), data besar, robotika, dan komputasi awan. AI memberikan kemampuan komputasi dan otomatisasi cerdas yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan inovasi di berbagai sektor industri, dengan berfokus pada pengembangan sistem komputer yang mampu melakukan tugas-tugas yang membutuhkan kecerdasan manusia, di mana AI melibatkan pembuatan mesin yang dapat belajar, merencanakan, beradaptasi, dan melakukan tugas-tugas cerdas seperti pengambilan keputusan, pengenalan suara atau gambar, pemrosesan bahasa alami, dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan Model Infrastruktur Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai pendorong Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini akan melibatkan pengembangan model AI yang dapat digunakan dalam konteks industri modern untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan inovasi. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kebutuhan, metode ini melibatkan analisis mendalam terhadap target industri, baik dari segi infrastruktur maupun kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi. Melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis data, peneliti mampu mengidentifikasi area-area di mana teknologi AI dapat memberikan dampak dan solusi tepat guna yang mampu memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, kualitas, dan inovasi di industri, dengan implementasi yang kuat terhadap kebutuhan industri, pengumpulan dan pengolahan data yang baik, adaptasi dengan konteks dan peraturan yang berlaku untuk Industri 4.0 di perusahaan.

Abstract

Tanjung Pandan Customs Office as a state institution has the opportunity to compete with other customs offices in Indonesia, as an added value for the assessment of the Tanjung Pandan Customs office in its assessment in the Customs Institution. SIMPORA as an information system for Budget Absorption and Realization is made to meet these needs. The design of the application design in this study was built with Figma Application. by making a Software Design Design (DPPL), then followed by the results of the application interface is expected to make this application user friendly. This process is carried out so that with a good time frame and planning it can produce a good product as well. The results of the software interface are also equipped with design and application documentation which in the end goal is to give the Tanjung Pandan Customs office a winner in the competition between customs offices throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

An ad-hoc network is a topology that directly connects a wireless network between end users to other end users without using other connected devices. For example, a network between a computer and another computer uses wireless transmission media. The interface used is a wireless card or wireless USB or other end user network device. The implementation of this particular topology is very convenient and very easy because it does not require much configuration, just create an adhoc network as a station on one of the computers and then configure the IP address. This research aims to see the performance produced when there is a delay, and throughput to see stable results, this method uses NDLC (Network Devlopment Life Cycle) to analyze the resulting performance with QOS (Quality Of Service) parameters for calculating results according to TIPHON (Telecommunication) standards and internet protocol hormoneization over network) 5.5% to 100% good results with this stability (data sharing and communication carried out in the office with predetermined bandwidth management so that it can be used according to the required capacity experiences quite different changes so that the resulting performance is appropriate or not too far from the standard results with 3.5% and 5.5% which is much more stable for the resulting performance.

Abstract

The development of information technology has made it possible to collect and analyze large and complex data. In the context of higher education, information about student distribution patterns can be of added value for institutions to plan and manage their resources effectively. This research aims to design a web mining system that uses a clustering algorithm to grouping the distribution of students at ITB Ahmad Dahlan. In this study, we collected data from open web sources that are relevant to students, such as student profiles, academic preferences, and extracurricular activities. The data is then analyzed using a clustering algorithm to identify patterns and trends in student distribution. By using this approach, we hope to provide useful insights for educational institutions in planning infrastructure, academic programs, and student services.

Abstract

CV Vyasti Network, a home internet service provider established in 2022, places the stability of internet connectivity as a top priority in its services. Maximum effort is made in the configuration of devices and systems to ensure a stable level of internet availability. In support of this goal, CV Vyasti Network adopts a design that involves the use of wireless back-up media and mixed routing protocol with NDLC method. The main purpose of this design is to minimize downtime when the main link experiences problems. To achieve this, load balancing is used so that downtime can be minimized when one of the links experiences interference. This method has proven to be very effective, especially in the results of its application on CV Fiber To The Home Vyasti.

Abstract

This research compares the performance of two popular datasets, Labelled Faces in the Wild (LFW) and faces94, in the task of face recognition using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) algorithms. The LFW dataset is known for its high variation in pose, lighting, and expression, while faces94 is more structured with more uniform lighting and pose conditions. CNNs were chosen for their ability to extract important features from face images for classification. In this study, a CNN model was trained on both datasets and its performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, and recall metrics. The experimental results showed that the model trained on the faces94 dataset achieved higher accuracy compared to the model trained on the LFW dataset. However, the model on the LFW dataset demonstrated better resilience to variations in lighting and pose conditions. These findings indicate that while a more structured dataset like faces94 can produce a model with high accuracy under testing conditions similar to the training data, a dataset with greater variation like LFW is more suitable for real-world applications involving diverse conditions. This study provides important insights into the selection of datasets for developing robust and accurate face recognition systems.
